Today's Idiot
Car Burglar gets stuck

SAN DIEGO -- A would-be car burglar had to be rescued after getting stuck in a vehicle he was breaking into Thursday night, authorities said.
genius!
San Diego County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Union Bank on Palm Avenue near 9th Street just before 8 p.m. after someone called and said a man in the parking lot appeared to be screaming, sheriff's Lt. Anthony Ray said. Deputies found the man had both arms inside the vehicle and was pinned by the window, Ray said. He was screaming for help.
p*ssy
It appears the man pried the window from the door frame, but the window popped back into place, pinning the man's arms inside the vehicle, Ray said.

Firefighters were called to rescue the 35-year-old man, who was arrested and booked for attempted auto theft.
and mocked intensely for the next several days in cell 47. "Hey, remember when Beaver got his head stuck in that fence? Yeah, that was stupid! Hey, remember when he fell in that giant billboard steaming cup? Yeah, that was stoopid. See that guy over there? LOL!

Michael Moore arrested for propositioning a 15-year boy
Nashville, TN -- Convicted sex offender Michael Wayne Moore is once again jailed on charges related to his alleged propositioning of a 15-year-old boy.

Majel Barrett Roddenberry
Here's a salute to the First Lady of Star Trek, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, who passed away today at the age of 76. The widow of Gene Roddenberry appeared on every incarnation of Star Trek, and if you don't think of her as Nurse Chapel from the original series, she's probably the "Voice of the Computer," which is what she recorded for the upcoming J.J. Abrams movie. . . .

She also played "Number One" in the original pilot episode ("The Cage") and Counselor Troi's mother ("the Auntie Mame of the Cosmos") in Next Generation.

Shark jumps out of aquarium into swimming pool
A shark managed to jump out of its aquarium on to a water slide at a hotel swimming pool used by guests.

The female reef shark tumbled down the slide – known as the Leap of Faith – after vaulting the one foot high and 18 in wide barrier around its pool.

Although the creature survived the journey its body could not cope with the chlorinated water in the swimming pool at the bottom of the slide. Rescuers managed to return the 12-year-old shark to its own pool but it died shortly afterwards.

Staff at the Atlantis resort said that guests were never at risk as the water park had yet to open for the morning. The shark posed no threat to humans and regularly swam with guests in its aquarium

"The Atlantis Aquarists believe the shark was startled by an unusual circumstance that we have no way of defining completely. In the over ten years guests have experienced the Leap of Faith, the reef shark itself, harmless to humans as it is fed regularly by our staff, had shown no previous incidences of leaping out of the water in the marine habitat," the resort said in a statement to the TMZ website.

"Once the shark fell onto the slide and into the chlorinated water, it was in significant distress.

"The Marine Aquarium Operations team responded immediately and was able to retrieve the animal at the bottom of the slide and return the animal to the main marine habitat in an attempt to resuscitate her. Despite the team's best efforts to recover the animal, it died shortly after the occurrence.

"The entire team at Atlantis is truly saddened by the loss of this animal who had resided in the Atlantis marine habitat for over ten years."

The Atlantis resort describes itself as a "unique, ocean-themed destination", with 20 million gallons of pools and lagoons, waterfalls, and a marine habitat filled with water filtered from the Atlantic Ocean.

You'll notice the plane goes out of frame just before the wing breaks, and during landing just before the plane stops and the pilot gets out.

#6  I was reading about this the other day and the article mentioned that the leak is supposed to increase drastically sometime in 2012.

My first thought was, could this have anything to do with the Mayan calendar conspiracy that claims the world as we know it will come to an end on 12/21/2012? Some have speculated that the Mayan calendar foretells a huge shift in the earth's magnetic field, which could possibly trigger an all out armageddon.

Boy, I sure hope not.

Edinburgh mosque teacher jailed for abusing young girls
A mosque teacher who subjected two young girls to an ordeal of sex abuse at Koran lessons was jailed for seven years today.

Mahmood Qadri began preying on the children during the 1990s while supposedly helping the pupils learn the sacred book of Islam. A judge at the High Court in Edinburgh was told that Qadri aged 60, still maintained he had been wrongly convicted of child abuse charges. But temporary judge John Morris QC told him: "Because of the gravity of the crimes of which you were convicted a custodial sentence is the only appropriate disposal in your case." He said: "Because you have been convicted of sexual offences I am concerned that the public, and in particular young children, are adequately protected from serious harm from you when you are eventually released."

The judge ordered that Qadri should be kept under supervision for a further two years and warned if he breached it he could be brought back to court. He also ruled that first offender Qadri should be placed on the sex offenders' register for life.

Bearded, bespectacled Qadri had denied two charges of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour committed at Polwarth Mosque, at Temple Park Crescent, in Edinburgh, but was earlier convicted of the offences by a jury.

He began molesting the first child in January 1995 and the abuse continued until September 1998 during which time he kissed and carried out sex acts on the girl. The second girl was molested by Qadri at the mosque from January 1997 until September the following year. The victims, now 19, told his trial that he abused them in a bedroom at the mosque during Koran lessons.

One told the court that the abuse occurred every day she attended at the mosque. She said it was only later that she first revealed what had occurred as she had previously been scared and thought "people would laugh" at her.

Qadri, from Manchester, had originally been due to appear in court in 2005 but had gone to Pakistan to carry out "relief work" following an earthquake. He was detained in May this year when authorities held him in Germany.

Defence counsel Sarah Livingstone said there had clearly been "a breach of trust". She said Qadri accepted the decision of the court but added: "It is his position he had been wrongly convicted."

"He said he has no intention of ever teaching children again. That is not something that is going to happen because of the sex offenders' register and because of the organisation of the mosque," she said. She asked the judge to consider Qadri as posing a low risk and to exercise as much leniency as he could.

Miss Livingstone said he did not keep the "best of health" and had a history of diabetes. "He had carried out charity work in Pakistan and that symbolises his service to the community. He tells me throughout his life he has worked to help the poor in Pakistan," she said.

#8  SEVEN YEARS!?! This son of a bitch should be fed two .40 S&W cartridges directly to the skull at 150mm distance and his body fed to pigs. His last meal should consist of his own genitals, tartare.

Seven years is all but letting him get off scott-free.

#13  Nothing against pigs, Barbara. It's the fact that such a fate would cause this worthless slimeball to know he would be barred from his pedophile prophet's vision of heaven that I like.
Pigs are just a means to an end.

#2  So according to the article the Union (there's that nasty word again) is planning to sue to prevent the mandatory LWOP; so that leave firings as was stated as an option.
Lemme see, half a loaf, or no loaf.....
Doubt if these weasels got as much clout as the UAW. (There's another nasty word; George Carlin was wrong, there are 8 words you shouldn't be able to say on TV.)

Lucky for her they can't charge her for being ugly. I guess we'll have to settle for aggravated first degree murder.

#4  A taste of hard justice for you bitch.
I'm sure your husband thinks every bit as much of you as we do.

Although I'm shocked that a woman hitting a man could ever be called a crime. Usually minorities are considered incapable of committing crimes.
