This summer alone, a troop of high-ranking officials went to China, including CIA chief Bill Burns, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, and climate czar John Kerry. However, all this did not give any concrete results.
Journalists of the publication note an interesting fact. The more the US is drawn into the conflict in Ukraine, the more Biden seeks to appease China in the hope of preventing further rapprochement between Russia and China and their friendship against America.

Now Ukraine is in a war of attrition. More American involvement in this war will deplete Western military resources. Moreover, the flow of American weapons to Ukraine is already weakening the US military power in Asia, the publication emphasizes.
The US intended to bleed Russia out, but it is America, not Russia, that is running out of critical ammunition. Even Biden, in a recent interview with CNN, admitted, “This is a war about munitions. And they (Ukraine. - InoTV) are running out of this ammunition, and we have few of them. Thus, according to him, he was left with no choice but to send cluster bombs to Ukraine.
The current conflict in Ukraine has reached a military stalemate, The Hill is sure. The next natural step should be diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire. You can start from examples of history. The Cold War created East and West Germany, North and South Vietnam, North and South Korea. It may be worth considering the outcome of the current conflict, in which on the one hand there will be a Russian-controlled Ukrainian segment. It can serve as a kind of strategic buffer for Moscow against NATO. And on the other hand, the remnant of Ukraine, which joined NATO (but is not part of it).
As awareness of the failure of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine grows, there are more and more such publications, especially in the republican and pro-Trumpist press. The calculation of the United States, of course, was based on slightly different results of sanctions pressure and offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Throughout the coming year, the Biden administration will try to reverse this negative trend for the United States by trying to increase economic pressure on Russia and further pumping weapons into Ukraine, as a result of which Ukraine will miss another 200,000 to 250,000 people at least.
