#1  Yes, Barack is well on his way of achieving his Master Plan (tm) of enslaving whitey and getting the brothers to run the plantation...BWA-HA-HA!!!

Tell me something, do you ever leave the trailer to get fresh air?

#2  It's a basic view. Do you believe that the people exist to serve the state, or that the state exists to serve the people? When one crosses the point where over half of what one produces or creates by one's labor or skill is consumed by the various levels of the state in the form of tax, fees, levies, then you exist to serve the state.

#6  achieving his Master Plan (tm) of enslaving whitey and getting the brothers to run the plantation..

Don,t be absurd, Shakey Steve. Why would the smartest man in the room and his fellow savants share power with the ignorant, downtrodden masses, who,d only mess it up? And that's how Bishop Tutu and his ANC colleagues are running things in the former Apartheid Kingdom -- the blacks aren't significantly better off than they were before, according to what acquaintances there tell me, but now their oppressors are of the same skin tone. Whoopee.

#9  At least he is up front about his racists ideas. I am glad that apartheid is in the dustbin of history but I wonder how long the South Africans get to use the past as an excuse for shortcomings in the present.

#10  I would hope that we do not become confused by labels. As most of the readership here are fully aware, tribal or cultural seperation (evil apartheid if you will) is still a reality in much of Africa. Short of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is unfortunately the only workable solution to the realities of tribal hatred and geneocide. I would offer the current state of affairs in Solalia as current supporting evidence. Thanks to years of Western sanctions and pressure, South Africa now simply has a different, much more ruthless cadre of communist trained enforcers and re-distributors. Not a great deal to celebrate actually, but if you must hate your Euro heritage, Western colonial enfluence in Africa, or the Boere, there are angry chants and songs which one can sing along with warrior jestures, foot stomping and dance. I've viewed it since the Fall of the Smith Gov't in Rhodesia as a foretelling of future social justice here at home. Our current administration has certainly embraced the model.

Rep. Conyers' seat up for grabs
With the passage of Michigan's Republican-crafted redistricting law, recently signed off on by Gov. Rick Snyder, Rep. John Conyers seat is officially up for grabs after nearly 50 years - and local Democratic district officials are not pleased.
The poor darlings. Being thrust out of the garden, and the way back guarded by a policeman with the flaming sword of a redistricted election...
A legal challenge against the new redistrict law from Michigan Democrats is likely, and the 14th Congressional District Democratic Party Organization has issued a statement opposing the law.

"Under the new redistricting law, the vast majority of current 14th District members will no longer be apart of the new 14th Congressional District. The 14th District contends that all alternative maps were disregarded in the State legislative process and this new flawed redistricting plan should be subject to judicial review," the statement read.

Rick Blocker, 14th District Chairman, said, "We stand with the people in opposing the map signed into law by Governor Snyder. Instead of bringing voters together, this map divides up longstanding districts, communities and groups. It is an obvious gerrymander and may be unlawful. We will continue to work and organize to protect the rights and interests of the voters of the 14th District."

Conyers, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, has represented the 14th Congressional District since 1964, the second-longest House tenure behind Rep. John Dingell, who plans to run for a 25th term.
He can still run for the seat in the 14th District; he'll just be talking to people he hasn't talked to in the past. What's the problem?
He'd have to be nice to nobody voters that nobody sent? Ewwww!
The 14th District currently includes the west side of Detroit, Dearborn, and several smaller communities southwest of Detroit.

Politico reported last month that the new redistricting map leaves Conyers with 20 percent of his current constituents in a district that falls in parts of Oakland County and the Republican-leaning Grosse Pointe communities.

Potential challengers for the seat include a host of fellow Democrats: Rep. Gary Peters, whose district was redrawn in to Rep. Sander Levin's district; state Sen. Bert Johnson; Southfield Mayor Brenda Lawrence and colorful lawyer, Geoffrey Fieger, known for representing Jack Kevorkian and running for Michigan governor in 1998.

Every Single One: The Politicized Hiring of Eric Holder’s Voting Section

All sixteen new hires to the Voting Section have far-left resumes — which were only released following a PJM lawsuit. (This is the first in a series of articles about the Civil Rights Division’s hiring practices since President Obama took office.

Recently released documents — disclosed by the Obama Justice Department only after a court battle — reveal that the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice is engaging in politicized hiring in the career civil service ranks. Typical Washington behavior, you say? Except the hiring in question is nearly unprecedented in scope and significantly eclipses anything the Bush administration was even accused of doing. And the evidence of the current political activity is far less impeachable than what was behind the libelous attacks leveled at officials from the Bush years.

For nearly a year, the Civil Rights Division rebuffed Pajamas Media’s Freedom of Information Act request for the resumes of attorneys hired into the Division during the tenure of Eric Holder. PJM was finally forced to file a federal lawsuit earlier this year. Only then did Justice relent and turn over the documents. The result leaves little wonder why PJM’s request was met with such intense resistance.
We start today with the Civil Rights Division’s Voting Section. This Section is responsible for enforcing, among other things, all aspects of the Voting Rights Act. This includes reviewing redistricting and other pre-clearance submissions under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act that covered jurisdictions throughout the country must submit to the Justice Department for approval. Redistricting maps, voter ID statutes, citizenship verification laws, and a host of other politically contentious election issues rest in the hands of these Voting Section bureaucrats.
Long a refuge of partisan activists and ideological crusaders, the Section has been filling its ranks over the last 30 months with like-minded liberals ready to do the bidding of left-wing advocacy organizations. Sixteen attorneys have come on board in this hiring binge. Who are these new radicals?

Now go read the resumes of these new hires...

There's more here:
Holder’s Justice will interfere in state redistricting.
