Obama: 'Attack Will Not Break Bonds Between The U.S., Libya'
[Human Events] President B.O. addressed the attacks on the American embassy in Cairo, and the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in a "presser" where he didn't take any questions. He made a point of keeping Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as For a good time at 3 a.m. call Hillary and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Edmund Randolph ...
at his side, even though she had issued her own statement just a few minutes before. This might have been meant as a gesture of confidence in Clinton, who is coming under fire for the State Department's confused and decidedly equivocal response to the attacks.

Clinton's statement was primarily meant to emphasize outrage at the violence of the attacks, while somewhat walking back the apologetics to Islam that she, and embassy staff, were defiantly "standing behind" only a few hours ago. Obama continued the same trend, once again mixing an apology to Islamic religious sensibilities into his remarks, while seeking to highlight the Administration's insistence that violence in response to offensive speech is unacceptable.

"The United States condemns, in the strongest terms, this outrageous and shocking attack," declared Obama, after summarizing the events leading to the murder of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. He said his government was working with the government of Libya to apprehend the perpetrators of this attack, and that he has directed embassies around the world to increase their security measures.

But then came the qualifications, delivered before Obama's unequivocal denunciation of violence. "Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths," said the President. "We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification for this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts."

'Attack Will Not Break Bonds Between The U.S., Libya'

Cause you created this new Islamic allie just a few weeks ago and it would look politically terrible for your r"relationship" to have gone up in flames so soon. So lets kick in a cover up, smoke and mirrors after behind the scenes arm twisting of top Lybian Islamic mullahs.

#3  "We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others."

The US military in Afghanistan confiscated Bibles, called the Bibles 'trash' and ordered troops to burn them.

The Bibles were burned in order to suppress the information contained in the books. The bigoted and murderously intolerant noble Afghan people would have reacted violently otherwise.

As this was official policy no one was disciplined.

Not to mention that earlier US administrations imposed profound doctrinal change on the Shintou religion.

PS: When will the Obama campaign return Bill Maher's money?

#6  Obama can't find time to meet with Netanyahu, he has found time to attend a fundraiser with Jay-Z and Beyonce and an appearance on Letterman.

He also hasn't found time to attend daily intelligence briefings since Sept. 5.

Duh, not likely the ONE, the fund-raiser-campaigner-in-chief, is going to catch that threat or even care. He should have stayed in Washington to handle this.

Egyptian intelligence warned of an embassy attack as early as Sept.4.

The lame stream media is too busy figuring out how to coordinate their questions to make Romney appear un-Presidential. Romney has replaced Bush as the media scapegoat. The lame stream media is an enemy of the American people. They do a great disservice to this country. They are more concerned about conservatives being elected than islamists killing Americans.

#8  Actually JohnQC, yes. Losing this election sets back or even destroys the collectivist movement, which to them would be unacceptable. Individualism is selfish. Sacrifice to the State is everything. Fore word!

*Did you know that Barack Obama is history's most winning African-American Presidential golfer? So much so, that shorthanded Obama-Biden, O.B., has recently been officially approved by the Nobel Society as a slang for, "(A) Good Shot, Sir".

#9  At a bare minimum - we should be cutting off all financial aid to these countries.

Have to say ... the American empire seems to be crumbling at the outer edges. Feels like the barbarians are coming over the walls. Sure hope that the USA is providing personal weapons to ambassadors working in sketchy countries.

White House calendar: No Daily Intel Briefing for Champ since Sept 5
According to the White House calendar, there is no public record of President Barack Obama attending college classes his daily intelligence briefing--known as the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB)--in the week leading up to the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the murder of U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff, or other wartime events in Afghanistan.

Calif. Law Would Permit Midwives, Other Non-Physicians to Perform Abortions
[New American] The Caliphornia Senate passed a bill September 6 that would make it legal for non-physician medical professionals such as midwives to perform abortions under a statewide training program. The measure now awaits Democratic Governor Jerry Governor Moonbeam Brown's
... those who ignore history are bound to repeat it ...
signature.

According to LifeSiteNews.com, the bill (S.B. 623), introduced by Democratic State Senator Christine Kehoe, "extends a program run by the University of Caliphornia
...a formerly great educational system, the most generous contributor to the 2008 Obama campaign, with a total of $1,648,685. Is there a reason universities are among the top financiers of political campaigns?
at San Francisco [UCSF], in which nurse practitioners, midwives, and doctors' assistants are trained to perform abortions without any further training in medicine. Kehoe argues the bill is necessary because there aren't enough doctors performing abortions in Caliphornia."

The Sacramento Bee reported that the bill extends a UCSF program, begun in 2007, that "evaluates the safety and effectiveness of allowing certain non-doctor medical providers to provide abortions.... The goal is to increase access to the procedure in parts of the state where doctors are scarce." Kehoe noted that the program is "an existing study that's been extended several times, [and] this is an additional extension. Otherwise the study would cease at the end of this month and the practitioners participating in the city would no longer be able to perform this procedure."

The Life Legal Defense Foundation (LLDF), a Caliphornia-based pro-life group that has been pressuring the UCSF for its records on the controversial program, explained that the measure was hidden in an unrelated bill at the end of the state's legislative session after previous attempts to pass it had failed. "This bill was originally created to regulate boat paint," Dana Cody, LLDF's executive director, said of the bill carrying the abortion measure. "Now it's regulating and destroying human lives."

The Bee noted that several Republican politicians criticized the bill, hidden in the boat paint measure, as a last-minute "gut and amend" bill. "I don't understand the germaneness" of boat paint and training for abortions, confessed Republican State Senator Bob Dutton, one of the bill's opponents. "I'm questioning whether this is even appropriate to be brought up."
