On Sunday afternoon, the Obama Department of Justice announced that it would pursue investigation into George Zimmerman. That announcement came just hours after Zimmerman was acquitted for second-degree murder and manslaughter in the killing of Trayvon Martin, and within one day of the NAACP calling on the DOJ for an investigation. Holder and his race baiting pals have been in the middle of this from the very beginning. 12 April 2012 Rooters article.
"We have a very ... high bar that we have to meet in order to bring federal charges in this case so we are continuing in that regard," Holder said at a news conference.
The Justice Department would have to determine a crime was intentional and also motivated by race to bring such charges.

And there will be a spate of legislation intended to tighten up on future George Zimmermans that will end up being used to send more young black males to jail.

None of this is happenstance or coincidence. It is systematically fueled and stoked. All in all a very effective public relations and psychological Warfare (PSYWAR) campaign carried off by the regime. Divide and conquer; one of the oldest of political and military strategies.
Whilst the Zimmerman seething and rage continue and enjoys a host of media coverage, issues like Benghazi [you do remember Benghazi?], Fast & Furious, The Affordable Health Care Act, the economy, national debt, Egypt, Syria, Israel and a host of other regime cockups escape scrutiny.

Trailing Wife,
I believe the finding by the FBI does not prevent them from changing their mind (especially if there is "new guidance" from above or new evidence).
Zimmerman already lost his job and will have to wear a bulletproof vest for the rest of his life. I expect that anyone who hires him will be "leaned on" a la Koch Industries or Gibson Guitars.
It's not personal, it's strictly business.

I believe the results of the trial are what the Dems hoped for but the timing is off as most people will have moved on by the 2014 election so this extra bit of investigation is designed to adjust that timing for effect.

Let's assume there had been a series of burglaries in the neighborhood all committed by long-legged busty young blonde girls and Neighborhood Watch were on the lookout for long-legged busty young blonde girls (repeated for improved ranking), would that be sexist?

You've got the makings for one fine-ass made-for-TV movie there, EC. (yeah, pun intended)

DOJ will either quietly announce that they are declining to press charges when everybody is paying attention to another outrage or loudly announce that they are declining to press charges to distract the country from another outrage.
[AnNahar] U.S. President Barack Obama We're gonna punish our enemies and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us... appealed for calm Sunday after an acquittal in the killing of black teenager Trayvon Martin, saying: "We are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken."
"I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son," he said in a statement the day after a jury found neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman not guilty in a racially-charged trial.
Obama, who had spoken emotively on the case before, noting that if he had a son he would have "looked like Trayvon Martin," reiterated that the impact of the death went much wider than the Florida town of Sanford.
"The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher." Obama: "This nation is immeasurably poorer for having lost a thug, a burglar, a wannabe gangster and, uh, probably a future murderer. Now is the time for grieving. Let us, uh, mourn together."
He tied the killing of the teenager to the problems surrounding gun use in the United States, an issue on which the president tried but failed to push through new control measures earlier this year.
"We should ask ourselves if we're doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis," Obama said.
"We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that's a job for all of us. That's the way to honor Trayvon Martin."
Zimmerman, 29, had been accused of pursuing Martin, 17, through a gated community in Sanford, and shooting him during an altercation on the rainy night of February 26, 2012.
A six-woman jury late Saturday acquitted Zimmerman, with spontaneous protests breaking out soon after in U.S. cities including the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... , Philadelphia, reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,... , Washington and Atlanta.

I thought that was quite an easy case. If Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman first, self defense is obvious.
The narrative of events support this version. TM was out of sight, GZ returned to his car when he was attacked. At least nobody could disprove this line of events.
So acquittal was the logical choice, and the only choice.
I don't see how you could prosecute again for violation of civil rights. You don't violate anybody's civil rights when you act in self defense.

"Honoring" a dope smoking, gangster? No thanks POTUS. Take your 'we're all to blame' Groupthink bullshi* elsewhere.

BP yes that is a good thought. I don't believe it will happen however. I have lived around this culture all my life. Marion Barry is a good example. He got reelected even when he had a conviction. They don't change. It is a group thought process. The true racists are the black population even against their own. Blacks from outside this country don't think as they do. For example watermelon and chicken are normal words to them but not here. Skin color is not a factor there but here is. I blame our media as seen in the Zimmermann episode. Can you imagine a black coming to this country and attending Howard University. Their place will be learned quickly.

This is not the picture of a small innocent child.
This is a police photograph of Trayvon Martin's body taken the night he was killed and presented to the jury during the George Zimmerman trial. I did not retouch this image.
I think it is important to realize and remember that had he survived there is little doubt that Trayvon Martin would have been charged with at least first degree criminal assault and possibly/probably murder or attempted murder of George Zimmerman.
If President Obama had a son is this really what he would have looked like ?

Interesting foto Junkiron. Pushing through hedge, and kneeling in wet grass over a neighborhood watchman might have produced those wet pant legs and sweatshirt. Just say'n.

This mornings news channel bc line:
subconscience
racisism
in nanoseconds
Of course that is meant to be GZ+jury, not the dandy of enlightenment TM.
As an observation, the silence is deafening. What, some yuppies in Oakland, couple other leftist versions of superbowl sunday. We were promised riots and an end of civilization. Could it be that everyone and their dog knew what happened? Could it be that the black community isn't so interested in taking to the streets for a rich white people problem? Could it be that people are tired of the Boss? Could it be that the only reason this trial was racially charged was the media and prosecution?

As more and more of the facts of the George Zimmerman trial came out I noticed that even in the comment section of MSNBC many of the most radical pro Travon Martin voices increasing became silent. Not (in my opinion) because they had changed their minds about anything, but I think because they began to realize just how far overboard people like Rev. Al Sharpton have gone. And in the end it has the potential to loose a lot of white libral votes.
Even though they would never admit it publicly, I think that even the most hardcore NAACP supporters should be able to see that President Obama could hardly care less about Trayvon Martin. What Obama cares about is his own anti-gun agenda and how he can exploit the death of Trayvon Martin to promote it.
I believe the population of the inner cities are sick and tired of the gun violance. But are intellegent, and street wise enough, to know that gun control will not solve the problem for at least the next decade.
Even the most ardent NAACP supporter should be observant enough to see that if Trayvon Martin had had a gun that night he would still be alive. And odds are good that George Zimmerman would be dead.

Trayvon's problems begun long, long, before George Zimmerman came around. Raised by his stepmother (and not his so-loving biological mother since he was three) he's been passed around like a burden most of his life.
That and the 'black culture' being promoted by the media that being Gangsta is 'cool' and beating up 'crazy ass crackers' is acceptable.

The problem is the average person who believes Zimmerman is guilty believes the following untruths:
Zimmerman said racial slurs to the cops.
Zimmerman continued looking for Martin after being ordered to withdraw by police.
The first is clearly untrue by the records and a media manufacture that should cost NBC millions. The second is wrong, but there is room for doubt if one thinks the worst of Zimmerman because of the first issue.
Having a "Jewish-sounding" name, which meant to the bigoted race hustlers (and the MSM, but I repeat myself) that he was also white, and thus a two-fer, and they started in before they saw a picture of him and realized he was Hispanic. (Hence the hurried "white Hispanic" bullshit; gotta get the "white" in there somehow.)
The lowest circle of HELL is too nice for these worthless bastards. >:-(

I can't see how it will be any different than the MSM spreading pro-progressive propaganda currently. Seems like they are adding more to an already over saturated market and we all know how well the lefty radio talk shows go.

Yet another thing the usual persecutors would be upset about if we had a rethuglican presnident.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
