A White House official used the power of the bully pulpit to insist it was a “significant error” for journalists to report Joe Biden "willfully" kept and disseminated classified information when in fact that is exactly what the Biden Justice Department’s appointed special counsel had concluded.

Experts told Just the News that the deceptions of Democratic Party actors and their allies in media and government will be an issue on the ballot this November.
“As long as you have a party in power, which believes in things it can't be honest about, and which does things you can't be honest about, and which exists off of corruption to pay off its allies, you have to assume that they're gonna lie," former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich told the "John Solomon Reports" podcast on Tuesday "Because if they tell the truth, they're going to be defeated. And they're not suicidal. And I think that's at the core of what's going on."
Asked how to change the dynamic, Gingrich said: "I think you have to win the next election."
[Federalist] In her memoir, former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., falsely framed former President Donald Trump as the mastermind of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, with claims that the commander-in-chief resisted calls to deploy the National Guard. The Federalist exclusively reported on Friday that the vice chair of the since-disbanded Select Committee on Jan. 6 even suppressed evidence showing Trump actually pushed for more troops.
In her December book, Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning, Cheney outlined how the select committee discovered the White House was warned about the potential for violence in the run-up to Jan. 6, 2021. The chapter titled "They Knew" said the committee learned of warnings through records obtained by the Secret Service.
"To be clear, the issue was not that the Secret Service failed to brief those up the chain at the White House about the threat," Cheney wrote. "It appeared to the Committee that this information was being conveyed up the chain, including directly to Mark Meadows and President Trump."
Cheney wrote as if Trump was negligent about the need for security in Washington on the day of the electoral count.
"With the weight of the intelligence we received via Homeland Security, it is exceptionally difficult to believe that anyone in the White House with access to this information could have failed to recognize this obvious menace," Cheney wrote.
But the Trump administration did recognize the risk of mayhem and actively sought to deploy 10,000 National Guard troops to reinforce D.C. police. Cheney just covered it up.
[Breitbart] House Republicans are demanding answers after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) allegedly took steps to conceal the true number of illegal alien crossings from a large group of investigating Congressmen.
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN), and Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) wrote to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas Monday amidst his agency’s stonewalling of Congressional efforts to perform constitutional oversight of the colossal border crisis.
The letter, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, is a follow-up to an initial letter Johnson sent after leading 64 House Republicans to Eagle Pass, Texas, in early January. In that initial letter, Johnson cited reporting from Breitbart News that the DHS took steps to hide the severity of the crisis from the Congressional delegation visit — commonly referred to as a CODEL in Washington. Johnson also raised questions about the DHS granting access to CBS cameras for a favorable piece on Mayorkas’s department while denying the Congressional delegation from taking photographs.
Mayorkas responded to that letter without providing the requested documents and information regarding the DHS’s preparation for the visit and whether the agency altered border enforcement for the Congressmen. According to Johnson’s follow-up letter:
Additionally, the DHS Response did not provide documents related to the transportation and release of illegal aliens in and around the Del Rio sector of the southwest border, or the Eagle Pass CBP facility, within the timeframe of our CODEL. The DHS Response also did not cite or produce documents related to any specific statute or regulation prohibiting Members from taking photos at a CBP facility, and merely made a passing reference to CBP “policy.” Lastly, the DHS Response made no attempt to explain the discrepancy between the media’s ability— specifically Face the Nation’s ability—to photograph a CBP facility, while elected Members were prohibited from doing the same.
Johnson and the two chairmen told Mayorkas they wanted answers within two weeks or they would utilize their subpoena powers. Which the lawless Executive branch will ignore.
Concerns about the collapse of the southern border have increased in Washington and throughout the nation, with the Congressmen’s letter stating the problem “is currently the number one issue that concerns the American people, whether they live in a border state or not.” They mention the killings of Kayla Hamilton and Laken Riley, both allegedly by foreign nationals illegally in the country who were released due to Biden-endorsed border and immigration policies.
President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, during which he was goaded into mentioning Riley by Republican shouts but incorrectly called her “Lincoln Riley,” did little to support his assurances that he is concerned about the border. Biden has blamed Congress, and even his predecessor Donald Trump, for the crisis that has erupted on his watch and has vacillated between claiming he does not have the authority to unilaterally address the problem and threatening executive action if Congress does not pass pro-migration open borders legislation.
Mayorkas has a long history of refusing to cooperate with Congress. In February, the House impeached Mayorkas, making him the first Cabinet member to be impeached in nearly 150 years.

His testimony is focused on this side of the border. No discussion of all the hard work Mayorkas did coordinating the caravans, organizing the NGOs and expediting caravan logistics.

[FoxNews] Biden's budget includes $3 billion to 'advance gender equity and equality worldwide'
House Republicans are furious over "woke" programs President Biden wants to fund in his $7.3 trillion budget request.
Biden released his 188-page proposal to fund the federal government on Monday. It lays out roughly $5 trillion in tax increases overall, which the White House said would be split evenly between corporations and the top 2% of earners.
A new memo by House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington, R-Texas, highlighted billions aimed at green energy initiatives and equity programs.
Meanwhile, the U.S. national debt is currently just under $34.5 trillion and the federal budget deficit is $531 billion, according to the latest data.
The document pointed to $3 billion for the State Department to "advance gender equity and equality worldwide," as well as $1.5 billion for the Transportation Security Administration’s "pay equity initiative."
It also mentioned $11 billion that Biden wants for the Department of Interior to "preserve the stories of the cultures and history across America."
On climate change, Biden is seeking $8 billion for his American Climate Corps, aimed at hiring 50,000 new staffers by 2031 to "mobilize a new, diverse generation of… climate resilience workers," according to Arrington’s memo.
The Texas Republican also flagged $10.6 billion that Biden wants for the Department of Energy to bolster "climate and clean energy research, development, demonstration and deployment programs" – a 12% increase from the previous year.
Biden is also seeking $1.5 billion for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights’ "environmental justice efforts," as well as $500 million for the Green Climate Fund to "expand climate adaptation and mitigation projects in developing countries," the memo said.
The president also requested $90 billion to expand access to free community college, even after pushback from both the House and Senate on his efforts to broadly forgive student debt.
The budget is largely symbolic and has virtually no chance of passing the Republican-controlled House.
However, it is a significant part of the president’s pitch to voters as he seeks to win another term in November.

Donald Trump is facing 91 felony counts in four criminal cases related to his handling of classified documents and attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
Trump is 137 delegates short of the 1,215 needed to win the Republican nomination at the party's national convention this summer.
The two rivals are facing multiple challenges. Biden, at 81 years old, works to reassure voters of his physical and mental fitness for office while navigating dissent within his party's progressive base.
"I assume he's going to be the candidate. I'm his only opponent other than life, life itself," Trump told CNBC, while taking a jibe at his 81-year-old rival's age.

[NYPost] A top Biden White House official has bullied and verbally sexually harassed colleagues over more than a decade, The Post has learned — but is considered “untouchable” because first lady Jill Biden regards him as her “work husband.”
Anthony Bernal, whose status as the first lady’s top aide grants him enormous clout in both White House operations and Democratic politics, has repeatedly speculated in the workplace about the penis size of colleagues, according to three sources with firsthand knowledge.
Two sources said Bernal, 50, shared with them a theory that the size of a person’s thumb corresponds to that of their genitalia — citing the hypothesis both at the White House and in prior roles during President Biden’s campaign and vice presidency under President Barack Obama.
“It is to make people uncomfortable and to have power over them,” said one source who told The Post they heard Bernal make the crude remarks over several years while they worked together.
“It is Me Too — classic Me Too,” the source added.
A second source recounted hearing Bernal speculate “often” inside the White House about the endowments of fellow political aides and even Secret Service agents.
A third source recalled a disparaging “jab” during a workplace disagreement in which Bernal said a colleague had a small penis, as well as a separate encounter in which the top aide “remarked on another staffer’s bulge in his khakis.”
The third former colleague said both of those incidents occurred before Biden’s presidency.
“It was a lot of inappropriate remarks — talking about other people’s attractiveness and speculating about their sex lives at very weird moments,” the person said, adding that he had come to see “that’s actually sexual harassment.”
Four sources, meanwhile, said Bernal has speculated aloud in the workplace on the sexuality of colleagues — including at the White House — in a way that makes others uncomfortable.
“I have heard him say inappropriate things about people’s sexuality or pry inappropriately into people’s personal lives,” one former co-worker recalled of Bernal, who is openly gay.
“I heard him ask if people are gay all the time.”
Another source who has worked with Bernal said, “I could think of more than one instance where he pontificated on whether someone was gay or not or said, ‘They are definitely gay.’”
Bernal’s aggressive treatment of colleagues has previously been reported — including an August 2021 story by Politico that noted his “mean streak” — but prior reports did not include allegations of sexual harassment.
“I don’t think people understand how much power and influence he has. The problem is it is career-ending for anyone to talk on the record for these stories,” said one of the sources, who described Bernal as creating a “hostile work environment” for employees of both the first lady’s East Wing and those he encountered in the West Wing.
“The dignity speech doesn’t apply to him and everyone knows that. This is not new behavior, and that’s what’s so upsetting, because no one does anything.”
“He’s seen as untouchable due to his relationship with the first lady,” one former White House official said. “Staff have been told he’s ‘protected’ by Jill or that they should take it up with him directly.”
BIDENS ‘COULDN’T CARE LESS HOW STAFF IS TREATED’
Within the White House, Bernal is regarded as rivaling even Zients in terms of power due to his access to the first lady and his ability to intimate that he’s speaking for the Biden family.
“He has an unmatched ability to influence things in the West Wing and the president’s team that no other East Wing [staffer] would have,” one former co-worker said. “He has this because nobody wants to piss off Dr. Biden, because at the end of the day, Dr. Biden is the first person and last to talk to the president.”
Jill Biden refers to Bernal as her “work husband,” according to the book “American Woman,” published last month by New York Times reporter Katie Rogers — who also wrote that Bernal is “known to make life hell for junior aides who find him to be impatient, demanding, and overbearing.”
One source told The Post that Bernal “just sort of targets and goes in on certain people” — calling them “10 times in an hour” with feedback and direction — and that the sexual remarks become part of a “pressure cooker” environment.
“There’s no way [Jill Biden] doesn’t know. It has been going on so long,” the source said. “I don’t think she has a lot of advisers willing to give her a gut check. I think she thinks that Anthony’s like her bulldog protecting her.”
Another source, a former White House staffer, said: “There is genuine frustration with the first lady among the staff inside the White House. How can you write a children’s book about your husband fighting bullies while your most senior staffer harasses and berates the staff in your own office and your husband’s team on a regular basis?”
