[DavidWarrenOnline] I don’t think I would flourish as a big league politician; or even a little league politician. Faced with a problem like Roy Moore, the Merican Senatorial candidate who is the target of rather florid accusations in skunk media such as the Washington Post ‐ and charged with the task of defending the blighter ‐ I might say something like,
"Okay, so he chases after under-aged girls. At least he’s a heterosexual." ...
Or, "Give the guy a break, he’s from Alabama." ...
Or, "Hey, I chased after a fifteen-year-old girl once." ...
‐ "You wott?!?"
"Chased after a fifteen-year-old. Back in 1968, when I was fifteen myself. But I still think of her with unqualified affection."
And then when, reviled for not taking the matter seriously:
"I take the matter seriously enough. It’s you I don’t take seriously, my darling."
[RefugeeSettlementWatch] Here is what Mark Hetfield CEO of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (aka HIAS) said in an e-mail yesterday. (Emphasis is mine)
The Trump Administration shows no signs of backing off their policies against refugees, so we’re taking the Administration to court. Again.
From the moment the first executive order banning refugees and travelers from Muslim countries was issued on January 27th, HIAS and our partners in the American Jewish community have opposed every attempt by President Trump to close America’s doors to those in need of protection.
Our outrage has only grown stronger with every new executive order that prevents thousands of refugees from finding safety in the U.S.
Enough is enough. Together with our longstanding local resettlement partners Jewish Family Service of Seattle and Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley, HIAS yesterday filed a suit to again challenge restrictive policies that seek to prevent vulnerable refugees from finding freedom and safety. As we have for the last 136 years, we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that America remains a country that welcomes refugees instead of turning them away.
"People are dying who were given permission to come into this country. It’s tragic," said Rabbi Will Berkovitz, CEO of Jewish Family Service of Seattle, one of the refugee agencies that’s filed the lawsuit.
"The agenda that’s really thinly veiled here is the dismantlement of the refugee resettlement program as a whole," Berkovitz said. "Not for now, but forever."
The lawsuit claims the order is unconstitutional, discriminates against Muslims and gives preference to Christian refugees. [The US might actually give preference to Christians, what is the world coming to!‐ed]
You have to give them credit for chutzpah!
HIAS has been a long-time supporter of the Lautenberg Amendment which gave preference for resettlement to Soviet Jews among others, see here.
So are they now saying that the Lautenberg Amendment must go? Look for HIAS to reverse itself and ask Congress to abolish Lautenberg (Ha! Ha!).
Here is what we learned from the Jewish agency in California:
Plaintiffs are being represented by the International Refugee Assistance Project at the Urban Justice Center; the National Immigration Law Center; attorneys Lauren Aguiar, Mollie M. Kornreich and Abigail Sheehan Davis; Perkins Coie; and HIAS.
Learn more about the director of the National Immigration Law Center when she was bragging and disparaging then candidate Donald Trump by clicking here. Jim Simpson and I attended the spectacle.
This is a screenshot from a recent financial accounting post on the nine federal refugee contractors: You're probably not going to like the provided stat.

Drudge headline, not mine, although the article's intent is perfectly clear (and chock full of shit).
[Phys.org] US President Donald Trump's pullout from the Paris Agreement will push up global temperatures nearly half a degree Celsius (0.9 degrees Fahrenheit) by 2100, according to a report released Wednesday at UN climate talks in Bonn.
If all countries‐including the United States‐honour carbon-cutting pledges under the 196-nation treaty, the world would see 2.8 C of global warming above pre-industrial levels, the Climate Action Tracker (CAT) research group had previously calculated.
That is not nearly good enough to avoid climate catastrophe, scientists say. I've been following this crap for approximately forty years. It was every bit as alarmist, hysterical and flat out unpersuasive then as it is now.
#3
Another thing that is never explained - why a slight warming trend is a bad thing. It seems to me that a cursory review of climate history shows that global cooling and the resulting ice ages are far worse and destructive than a 0.9 F rise over the next 83 years.

Someone in FB whined about how he caused the problems there after the hurricane. I asked them if it was really wise to piss of someone who can cause CAT 5 Hurricanes...

US President Donald Trump's pullout from the Paris Agreement will push up global temperatures nearly half a degree Celsius (0.9 degrees Fahrenheit) by 2100
Egad! That's an average of 0.00602409639 degrees Celsius a year from now til then!
We're doomed.
And of course, extrapolation is always the best way to predict the future.

To some degree, I'm thinking Pugsley is interpreting the congressional and cultural brouhaha surrounding Mr. Trump at home as an exploitable weakness.
imho, Establishment D.C. and Hollywood are co-conspirators to all this crap.
[DailyMail] The man believed to be behind the coup in Zimbabwe is the country's recently sacked vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa - also known as 'The Crocodile'.
Mnangagwa, 75, is a notorious and much-feared figure in Zimbabwe, having led a vicious crackdown on opponents in the 1980s with the help of the dreaded North Korean-trained Fifth Army brigade.
Thousands of civilians were killed during the Gukurahundi campaign, but Mnangagwa has always denied involvement.
His reputation for cruelty is so legendary that he was one of the few leaders of Zimbabwe known to drive around the country without security. If it weren't for bad luck, they would have no luck at all
[PJMedia] European Islamist scion Tariq Ramadan was banned from the U.S. by the Bush administration in February 2004 for his financial support of a charity that funded terrorist groups. In January 2010, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton overturned that ban. Clinton personally approved a visa for the controversial grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Now, Tariq Ramadan is facing multiple accusations of rape and sexual assault of minors.

[All Africa] A former Rwanda presidential hopeful has fled the country fearing possible jail term over 'falsified signatures' during his election bid.
Gilbert Mwenedata, one of the two independent candidates disqualified from running in the August 4 poll, said he has been questioned by the police on several occasions over signatures he had submitted to the electoral commission.
In an interview with Radio Itahuka, a web-based station run by exiled Rwandan opposition groups, Mr Mwenedata said he fled the country for fear of arrest and being charged in court like the other disqualified presidential candidate Diane Shima Rwigara.
"What is becoming apparent is that whenever you try to challenge the authority of the incumbent, you end up in jail," Mr Mwenedata is quoted saying.
He added that those who dare to take on President Paul Kagame only find themselves on the wrong side of the law.
"Other than the candidates approved by the ruling party, independent candidates like me and Diane cannot be allowed to contest. If you insist on exercising your democratic right, the consequences can be jail," he said, citing Victoire Ingabire, who is serving a 15-year jail term, and now Ms Rwigara.

[All Africa] Zim-bob-we's Zanu-PF youths say they are "prepared to die" in defence of President Bob Muggsy Mugabe Nonagenarian President-for-Life of Zim-bob-we who turned the former Breadbasket of Africa into the African Basket Case... 's government, a day after the military threatened to intervene if the nonagenarian doesn't rein in his warring Zanu-PF lieutenants.
In a statement on Tuesday, Zanu-PF's secretary of the youth league Kudzai Chipanga said that Zanu-PF youths did not take lightly the military's threats.
"We as Zanu-PF youth league are a lion which has awakened and found its voice, therefore we will not sit idly and fold our hands whilst cheap potshots and threats are made against Mugabe," Chipanga said.
The southern African country's defence forces commander Constantino Chiwenga on Monday demanded a "stop" to the purges in the ruling Zanu-PF party following the sacking of vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Chiwenga criticised the instability in the revolutionary party.
He accused the party of expelling bigwigs who participated in the 1970s war against white-minority ruled Rhodesia; saying "counter revolutionaries" were plotting to destroy the party.
"The current purging and cleansing process in Zanu-PF which so far is targeting mostly members associated with our liberation history is a serious cause for concern for us in the defense forces," said Chiwenga.
He added: "We must remind those behind the current treacherous shenanigans that when it comes to matters of protecting our revolution, the military will not hesitate to step in. The current purging of which is clearly targeting members of the party with a liberation background must stop forthwith."
But in his response, Chipanga maintained that the threats by the military chief were in violation of the country's constitution and as the youth league they were prepared to defend Mugabe.
"Defending the revolution and our leader and president is an ideal we live for and if need be it is a principle we are prepared to die for. This is an assault on our freedom as we now have a new constitution which places soldiers in barracks and civilian authority in power... The guns will follow the politics and not the politics following the guns. Cde Chiwenga, therefore, cannot be allowed to dictate who will lead the party and the country," said Chipanga.
Chipanga also demanded that the army chief accounts for "the $15bn that he stole with former vice president Mnangagwa."

[Jpost] Friday, long-time US diplomats and Middle East experts Aaron David Miller and Richard Sokolsky published an article in Foreign Policy expressing "buyers’ remorse" over Saudi Arabia’s newfound willingness to take the lead in regional affairs.
Titled, "Donald Trump has unleashed the Saudi Arabia we always wanted ‐ and feared," Miller and Sokolsky note that for generations, US policymakers wanted the Saudis to take a lead in determining the future of the region.
In their words, "During decades of service at the State Department, we longed for the day when riskaverse Saudi leaders would take greater ownership in solving their domestic and regional security problems and reduce their dependence on the United States."
But now, they argue, under the leadership of King Salman and his son, 32-year-old Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudis are going too far.
Domestically, Miller and Sokolsky accuse Salman and Mohammed of upsetting the traditional power sharing arrangements among the various princes in order to concentrate unprecedented power in Mohammed’s hands. This, they insist, harms the status of human rights in the kingdom, although they acknowledge that Mohammed has taken steps to liberalize the practice of Islam in the kingdom to the benefit of women and others.
While upset at the purge of princes, ministers and businessmen, Miller and Sokolsky are much more concerned about the foreign policy initiatives Mohammed and Salman have undertaken with everything related to countering Iran’s rise as a regional hegemon.
...As if synchronized,
Who now remembers JournoList, the commenter cries rhetorically...
Robert Malley, Obama’s former Middle East adviser, makes a similar argument in an article in The Atlantic. Malley took a lead role in expanding the US’s ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah during the Obama years.
...For eight years, the Obama administration deliberately alienated and willingly endangered Saudi Arabia and Israel by implementing a policy of appeasing Iran. Despite repeated warnings, the US refused to recognize that as far as Iran is concerned, it cannot have its cake and eat it too.
...The change in the balance of forces that the Obama administration’s policy caused forced the US’s spurned allies to reassess their strategic dependence on the US. Contrary to Miller and Sokolsky’s claims, the Saudis didn’t abandon their past passivity because Mohammed is brash, young and inexperienced.
Mohammed was appointed because Salman needed a successor willing and able to fight for the survival of the kingdom after Obama placed it in jeopardy through his appeasement of Iran. Mohammed is the flipside of the nuclear deal.
Malley noted blandly that like the Saudis, Israel has also been sounding alarms at an ever escalating rate.
It isn’t hard to understand why. In 2009, Israel’s borders and territory were far more secure than they are today. Sunday night three former senior missile developers at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems ‐ Israel’s premier missile and missile defense developer ‐ went on television to warn that Haifa’s oil refineries and plans to use surrounding areas as a fuel depot will force the evacuation not only of the population of Haifa, but of all the surrounding satellite cities when war breaks out next with Hezbollah.
Hezbollah, they warned, now has the precision missile capability to destroy these vital national infrastructures and render the Gulf of Haifa uninhabitable.
Then there is Syria.
...Last week, the BBC reported that Iran is now building a military base 50 kilometers from the border with Israel. On Saturday, the IDF shot down a Russian- made intelligence drone launched against it by forces controlled by Iran’s chief Syrian proxy, Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Sunday, following threats from Iranian-controlled Islamic Jihad terrorist forces in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that Israel will not accept assaults against it across any of its borders.
...It makes sense that Obama partisans are unhappy with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed. It makes sense that they are unhappy with Netanyahu and with Trump. All four of these leaders are impudently insisting on basing their policies on recognizing the reality Obama spent his two terms ignoring: Iran is not appeasable.

upsetting the traditional power sharing arrangements\
Could you imagine a clearer example of the fear of change that infects the globalist elite?
Upsetting the traditional power which has accrued to them is truly frightening....not to mention the reason we got Trump. People don't like what you do with power.

Zimbabwe's military said it had seized power in a targeted assault on "criminals" around President Robert Mugabe who were causing social and economic suffering, but gave assurances the 93-year-old leader and his family were "safe and sound."
Zimbabwean soldiers and armored vehicles blocked roads to the main government offices, parliament and the courts in central Harare, a Reuters witness said on Wednesday.
While nearby, Zimbabweans queued for cash outside banks as public taxis ferried commuters to work.
"We are only targeting criminals around him (Mugabe) who are committing crimes that are causing social and economic suffering in the country in order to bring them to justice," Zimbabwe Major General SB Moyo, Chief of Staff Logistics, said on national television on Wednesday.
"As soon as we have accomplished our mission, we expect that the situation will return to normalcy." When was the last time we've military coup in Africa?

[Daily Caller] Fox News host Sean Hannity issued an ultimatum to GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore over his response to the flood of sexual harassment allegations against him.
Hannity gave Moore 24 hours to either explain the inconsistencies in his account or drop out of the race. If not, Hannity ‐ who supported Moore early on ‐ will withdraw his support. Hannity’s ultimatum came after a fifth woman accused Moore of making advances on teenage girls while he was an attorney in his 30s.
"Before we close tonight i want to address the new very serious misconduct allegations against Judge Roy Moore. If you watch this program regularly you know I will not rush to judgment, we have seen in the media and politicians get it wrong so many times, I’ve outlined all of that," Hannity started off saying.
"In light of new information about Judge Roy Moore, we have to address this issue tonight. We should be troubled by two things: when the Washington Post story first broke I said that the allegations it should be taken seriously, they should be fully investigated. It’s a 14-year-old girl. We need to discover the truth," he continued.
"I also said, I can understand why women wait years to come forward to because of the evil that in cases where they are guilty, it’s evil trauma, I can understand it, people have a difficult time talking about it years later." Hannity then walked through how Moore had changed his answers when the conservative host pressed him during a radio interview.

[PJ] Police have named the man accused of stabbing two people in the dressing room area of Macy's at the Mall of America on Sunday.
Officials identified the 20-year-old suspect as Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahaman of Minneapolis. Police are calling this incident a botched theft attempt.
According to Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts, Abdirahaman went into a dressing room in the men's department and attempted to steal some property.
The victim was stabbed after finding the suspect pawing through his belongings in the dressing room. When family members rushed in to help, a second victim was slashed. Potts said family members were able to disarm the suspect, and judging by his mug shot, they managed to rough him up a bit too.

Check out the local Star Tribune comment section on this story. Minnesotans are pissed. Our turd for brains Gov. Mark Dayton's take on anti Jihad welfarests is worth noting.
Gov. Mark Dayton has told residents of the state that if they are not comfortable living among the refugees they “should find another state.”…
Why should the residents feel uncomfortable? Just a quick perusal of recent news…
“Over the past two years (2015) more than 20 {Somali} Americans {sic} from the Minneapolis area have traveled overseas to fight alongside terrorists under the Islamic State banner, according to the FBI.”
“Six young Somalis in Minnesota: “Abdullahi Yusuf, Zacharia Abdurahman, Hanad Musse, Abdirizak Warsame, Adnan Farah and Hamza Ahmed — have pleaded guilty to conspiring to travel to Syria to join ISIS,” Minnesota Public Radio reported in May.
“U.S. District Court Judge Michael Davis didn’t sugarcoat his words … as he sentenced three Minnesota men on terrorism charges,” KSTP reported in November:
“This was a jihadi cell,” Davis said firmly to the entire courtroom. “Everyone talks about Brussels or Paris having a cell; we have a cell in Minneapolis.”
“At least two of the 22 Minnesotan Somalis who joined al-Shabab have committed suicide bombings…
“Mohamoud Hassan {was} a chemical engineering student at the University of Minnesota voted “most friendly” by his high school classmates. Two years later, Hassan was dead in Mogadishu…”
“Amina Farah Ali, a woman from Rochester, Minnesota’s third-largest city, has been sentenced to 20 years on 13 terror-related counts. Her accomplice, Hawo Mohamed Hassan, was sentenced to ten years. Ali and Hassan went door-to-door in Rochester and the Twin Cities soliciting charity for Somalia’s poor. The money was then diverted to al-Shabab. On a wiretap used as evidence in the trial, Ali is heard saying, “let the civilians die,” to an al-Shabab operative in Somalia. After her conviction, Ali told the court, “I am very happy. I’m going to the heaven no matter [what] …. Also, you guys go to the hell…. We know God. We know justice. And also I’m very sorry for the one who doesn’t know God and who puts the injustice [on the people].” Nine others were sentenced on the same day as Ali and Hassan, while 18 more were charged with related crimes.”
“Somali refugee Dahir Adan attacked nine Americans with a knife at a mall in St. Cloud, Minn. before an off-duty police officer shot and killed him on Sept. 17, 2016.
Two months later Somali refugee Abdul Razak Ali Artan attacked 11 Americans with a knife and then a car on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus before a campus police officer shot and killed him on Nov. 28, 2016.”
“Somali refugees are the most difficult to deal with. They are easily manipulated towards criminal activities, making it difficult to negotiate with them at times,” according to a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees official working in Pakistan, who spoke with the Express Tribune in 2012.
Is there more for residents to worry about than Islamic-inspired terror attacks?
“In 2015, Minnesota authorities charged Somali man Ahmed Hersi Abdi with two first-degree sexual misconduct for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl in her apartment.”
2016: “KSTP-TV reports that a female resident, who understandably remains anonymous for her protection, told the network that she and other locals were attacked by a mob of up to 30 Somali Muslim men on June 28. Police were called to the scene at around 9:30 a.m. after the mob of migrants showed up in front of citizens’ homes, yelling threatening comments and promising terrorist activity.
“They were screaming at the house that they were going to kidnap you and they were going to rape you,” one Minneapolis resident told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS. “It was a very traumatizing experience.”
According to the police report, between 20 and 30 young men descended upon a woman’s house threatening to kidnap and rape her. The migrants were reportedly driving their vehicles up over the curbs and onto the lawn while shooting off fireworks and screaming threats in the Lake Calhoun neighborhood.
The police report states that the men were yelling “jihad” and even told the female resident that the could kidnap, rape, and marry the already married woman because it was legal under “Shawra (Sharia) Law.” As expected, even the station that picked up the story somehow “missed” these references.”
But Minnesota residents, if you don’t like it, YOU can just leave. These Muslims are here to stay and are more wanted than you are. They don’t need to assimilate either, you do. So says Gov. Mark Dayton.

Our esteemed Governor is the recipient of shock treatments. That is usually given after all drugs have failed.
As for Somalis...They refuse to integrate into larger society or learn English. They continue their feuds from Somalia right on the streets of Minneapolis. If they can't find their target here in the Twin Cities, they'll kill one of the guy's friends or even classmates.
The scary thing is these Somalis are considered "the good Somalis." The Swedish government recently sent a fact finding tour to the twin cities to find out "why the American Somalis are so much better behaved than the Swedish Somalis."

The judges said the government could implement the ban, except on "foreign nationals who have a credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the US".
They said such people include grandparents, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins of people in the US. The restrictions will apply to travellers from Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.
It also blocks travel by certain Venezuelan government officials and most North Koreans; courts have not stopped the administration from enacting the restrictions on those countries.
Justice Department spokeswoman Lauren Ehrsam said: "We are reviewing the court’s order, and the government will begin enforcing the travel proclamation consistent with the partial stay." She added that the administration, which continues to appeal the lower court’s ruling, believes that the ban "should be allowed to take effect in its entirety", regardless of whether someone has a tie to the US.
In unveiling the third version of the travel ban in late September, the administration said that the eight countries did not share with the US information to enable proper screening of their nationals.

[Daily Caller] Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd sent a letter to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Monday, indicating that career prosecutors at the Department of Justice would review controversies arising from the Clinton Foundation and former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of the Clinton email investigation.
The letter prompted speculation that DOJ was assembling a predicate for a criminal investigation and the appointment of a special counsel. President Donald Trump himself has publicly encouraged the attorney general to pursue a criminal probe of matters relating to the Clinton Foundation, amplifying speculation that his longtime ally would acquiesce to the pressure in a bid to revive his strained relationship with the president.
The text of the letter doesn’t quite bear that reading.
[LI] Monday, Donald Trump Jr. published a series of tweets which included screen shots of Twitter private messages between himself and Wikileaks.
According to a report in The Atlantic, the messages, along with thousands of documents were turned over by Trump Jr.’s lawyers to the congressional committee investigating Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election.
The president’s son claimed someone on the committee had "selectively leaked" the conversation to the media and proceeded to publish the conversations.
By the looks of it, Trump was peppered with messages from Wikileaks, and as he pointed out, only responded three times.

[AlAhram] Kuwaiti banks have been told by the central bank to provide account details relating to some Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... n nationals, sources familiar with the situation told Rooters on Monday.
The move follows the freezing of more than 2,000 domestic bank accounts in Saudi Arabia after the detention of senior business figures and officials in a campaign against alleged graft.
Kuwait's central bank had asked its banks if they had exposure to any of the Saudi citizens who were tossed in the clink Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please! , one of the sources said, without providing further information.
Banks had also been asked to provide information about the companies linked to the individuals, the source added.
So far, the information received by the Kuwaiti regulator showed the exposure of Kuwaiti banks to the individuals detained and their companies was limited, the source said.
Rooters reported last week that the central bank in the United Arab Emirates had asked banks to provide details of the accounts of 19 Saudis, including billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who was among those detained.
Some banks in the Gulf Cooperation Council have close links to Saudi Arabia, the largest economy in the six-nation bloc, with a number of Saudi individuals and companies doing business in the neighbouring nations and holding bank accounts there.
A second Kuwaiti banking source said some Kuwaiti banks had been asked by the regulator to provide details on their total exposure to Saudi Arabia.
Some banks in Bahrain had also been asked to provide information on any accounts held by Saudi citizens caught up in the anti-graft campaign, a third source said.
Nobody was available to comment from the Bahrain central bank.

More than 3,000 donations -- from $5 to $250 -- have rolled in since November 6, when the GoFundMe campaign was set up on behalf of Juli Briskman.
Briskman's raised middle finger was caught by news photographers as Trump's motorcade passed her on October 28 as he left Trump National Golf Course in Sterling, Virginia. The image immediately went viral.
Three days later, the 50-year-old marketing executive was fired by her company, government contractor Akima.
"Thank you Juli Briskman," wrote Rob Mello, who set up the GoFundMe account, calling her "an inspiration to us all."
All the money raised goes directly to Briskman, he says on the site.

And isn't there a gift tax on gifts over $10,000?
It's gone up to $14,000. M. Murcek is partially right - the excess over $14,000 needs to go on a gift tax return filed by the giftee, for which there may or may not be a tax due. If it's the latter the excess of $14,000 goes against the giftee's estate tax exemption.

Egypt has been exerting tremendous pressures on the Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... (PIJ) organization to not allow rising tensions between the terrorist group and Israel reach full-scale hostilities, Paleostinian sources within the Gazoo Strip told Ynet.
Egyptian pressures have been placed on PIJ following the heightened state of alertness in Israel, as part of which Iron Dome batteries were deployed in central and southern Israel.
For the time being, Islamic Jihad has chosen to listen to Egypt despite the fact its patron is Iran. PIJ and Egypt has been in constant communication over the past few months, and the organization is said to be immensely proud of the relationship and wishes to preserve it. It is for this reason that Egypt can exert pressure on PIJ in the first place to prevent military escalation.
Egypt's current level of influence on the strip is greater than Iran's, the source claimed. It was further stated pressure was also being exerted by Hamas, whose leadership is currently uninterested in another round of hostilities, mostly out of fear such an escalation will scuttle the nascent Hamas-Fatah reconciliation agreement.
Hamas is said to be well aware any large-scale retaliatory military operation by Islamic Jihad will also drag Hamas itself unwillingly into the conflict. Most of the smaller factions in Gazoo are also uninterested in escalation, as is most of the Gazook general public.
Tensions have been running high in Israel's southern region since the IDF went kaboom! a tunnel excavated by Islamic Jihad into its territory two weeks ago. The kaboom killed 12 PIJ and Hamas terrorists, including senior figures.
Following the tunnel's demolition, Islamic Jihad declared it considered it a "declaration of war." Israel's security establishment further estimated the hard-line organization would find it hard to hold back from exacting its Dire Revenge.
In light of the situation, Israel sternly cautioned the Gazoo terrorist organizations, saying it would retaliate with extreme force against both Islamic Jihad and Hamas if attacked.
"The Jihad has hatched a scheme and is playing with fire, we'll retaliate strongly against Hamas as well," said Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai in a video published over the weekend in which he made veiled threats at the organization's leaders.
PIJ's response was forthcoming, with the organization saying Mordechai's threats "expose the Zionists' true intentions. We have a right to respond to any aggression and, therefore, have a right to respond to criminal aggressions against the resistance tunnels that caused the death of 12 fighters from the military wing of Hamas and the (Islamic) Jihad."
Israel, meanwhile, has been quietly preparing for rising tensions to escalate further by deploying Iron Dome batteries in the central and northern regions of the country. works on the underground barrier near the Gazoo border have also started up again, albeit in a somewhat diminished capacity. Work has thus far been carried out in accordance with changing status evaluations, which means work crews can only enter the construction area accompanied by the army. Crews are also obligated to take extreme precautions for fear of sniper or anti-tank fire.

[AnNahar] An estimated 14 million Shiite pilgrims thronged Iraq's holy city of Karbala on Friday to mark the annual Arbaeen commemoration, as Baghdad looks to wipe out the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group that has targeted their branch of Islam.
Arbaeen is one of the biggest religious festivals on earth and marks the end of the 40-day mourning period for the 7th-century killing of Imam Hussein by the forces of the Caliph Yazid -- a formative event in Shiite Islam.
Under tight security, around 14 million worshippers crowded into the golden-domed mausoleum where the Prophet Mohammed's grandson is buried, Karbala's religious authorities said, beating their chests in unison against a background of religious music.
Imam Hussein's killing in the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD was part of a fierce dispute over who should succeed the Prophet, which eventually developed into a bitter schism between the Sunni and Shiite branches of Islam.
Tens of thousands of security personnel and Shiite turbans were deployed, as in past years, around the perimeters of the sanctuary as well as on all roads leading to Karbala, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) southwest of Baghdad.
The expulsion of IS from Iraqi cities has added an extra dimension to this year's pilgrimage, as the Sunni krazed killer group has repeatedly targeted Shiites. Last year, a suicide kaboom killed at least 70 mainly Iranian worshippers returning from the commemoration.
The jihadists have seen their self-styled "caliphate" disintegrate on the battlefield, and are currently fighting to hold a last pocket of territory in Iraq on the Syrian border.
- 'Finished with IS' -
Believers from across the Middle East and beyond have made the pilgrimage to Karbala.
Shiites make up some 60 percent of Iraq's population and ahead of the peak of the commemorations local governor Aqil Tourihi told AFP that over 10 million Iraqis had arrived.
More than two million Iranian pilgrims also crossed the border into Iraq for Arbaeen, an Iranian official said.
"The conditions are perfect, above all in terms of catering for pilgrims and security," Kuwaiti pilgrim Fadel Yaqoub told AFP.
The overall attendance appeared down on the roughly 17 to 20 million people estimated to have attended Arbaeen in 2016.
Helicopters flew overhead to ensure security in the city, located some 300 kilometres (185 miles) southeast from where Iraqi forces are battling to snuff out IS.
Bandar al-Hamami said he had walked some 350 kilometres with his family from their home in the southern city of Nasiriyah.
"Thanks be to God, we are finished with IS," he said.
[National Review] Republicans, whether in the White House or on Capitol Hill, do not seem to appreciate how much they may be undermining what they say they want ‐ a serious investigation of the Clinton Foundation and such related matters as the Uranium One transaction, the interplay between the foundation and the operation of the State Department during Secretary Clinton’s tenure, and the question of whether that interplay explains the use of the improper private email system and the destruction of tens of thousands of emails. I couldn't agree with the author more, but obviously for different reasons.
The president has been railing about his own Justice Department’s apparent inaction (after signaling, post-election, that he did not want to see the Clintons further investigated and prosecuted). A group of House Republicans has taken up this cause and is pushing for the appointment of a special counsel.
In essence, it is a tit-for-tat maneuver: There is a special-counsel probing Trump ties to Russia, they reason, so why not a special-counsel to probe Clinton ties to Russia? This suggests a basic misunderstanding about what triggers a special-counsel investigation: There must be potential offenses that warrant investigation as to which the Justice Department has a conflict of interest that would make its conducting the investigation inappropriate.

[IsraelTimes] The Pentagon said Monday that U.S. forces had killed 40 Shabaab and Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... fighters in a series of strikes on Somalia that began late last week.
The U.S. military has launched five strikes since Thursday on jihadist positions in the Horn of Africa country, killing 36 members of the al-Qaeda-affiliated Shabaab group and four from the Islamic State group, said Colonel Rob Manning, a front man.
"In coordination with the federal government of Somalia, U.S. forces conducted five Arclight airstrikes in Somalia against al-Shabaab ... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... and ISIS, from November 9 to the 12th, removing more than 40 Death Eaters from the battlefield," Manning said.
The strikes were carried out by the U.S. Africa Command, and followed two devastating attacks attributed to Islamic gunnies in Mogadishu that left about 385 people dead last month.
The surge in U.S. operations came after President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... in March loosened the constraints on the U.S. military to take actions against alleged Death Eaters when they judge it is needed, without seeking specific White House approval.
A pair of U.S. dronezaps that killed several gunnies on November 3 marked the first time American forces hit Islamic State group fighters in Somalia.
[LegalInsurrection] Israel's elite Air Force instructors are training Indian Special forces, Israeli media reports confirm. Israel Defense Forces' Airborne Rescue and Evacuation Unit 669 is carrying out joint drills with Garud Commando Force, the Special Forces unit of the Indian Air Force.
According to Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post, 16 Indian commandos are currently stationed at Nevatim and Palmahim air bases. These personnel are part of a 45-man delegation and a C-130J Super Hercules transport plane that are in Israel to take part in Blue Flag 2017, Israel's largest aerial drill ever, the newspaper added.
India's Garud Commando Force was created in 2003 after Islamic terrorists repeatedly tried to target air bases in India's Kashmir region. Apart from securing airfields from terrorist attacks, the airborne unit is involved in rescue, reconnaissance and counter-terrorism operations. Despite its short history, the Indian unit has "managed to accumulate considerable operational experience," Israeli news website Ynet News noted.
IDF's Unit 669 on the other hands has been around for more than four decades and has distinguished itself in four major cross-border operations, and is counted among the best IDF Special Forces units.

[DailyMail] After driving ISIS out of most of their country, Iraqi officials are holding around 3,000 jihadi wives and children. At least 1,750 of these are foreign - but European countries are refusing to take them back in case they attack or radicalise others. The chief adviser to the ministry, Dr Wahab Altaey, said governments consider the young sons of ISIS fighters as 'ticking time bombs'. He said European governments: 'Did not accept the idea of receiving the dependents.' The foreigners are locked up in a secure prison in Tal Keif, near djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... .

[AnNahar] Saudi oil giant Aramco on Monday said it had resumed operations at its Bahrain pipeline, days after it was shut down over a fire which Manama called a "terrorist" act.
"Operations in the pipeline between the Dhahran pumping station and the Bapco refinery, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, have resumed," the official Saudi SPA news agency quoted the oil giant as saying.
Bahrain relies on its Abu Safa field, which it shares with neighboring Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... , for much of its oil, pumped in via a 230,000-barrel-per-day pipeline.
The kingdom is a key ally of the United States and home to Washington's Fifth Fleet.
[Khaama] The Pak soldiers suffered casualties in the latest attack by the holy warrior groups along the Durand Line, the security authorities said late on Monday.
The Inter Services Public Relations, media wing of the Pak military, in a statement confirmed the attack.
The statement further added that two soldiers were killed and four others were maimed in the attack carried out by the holy warriors from the other side of the line from Afghanistan.
According to ISPR, a group of holy warriors from across the border (Kunar province ... which is right down the road from Chitral. Kunar is Haqqani country..... , Afghanistan) attacked a checkpost in Mamond tehsil of Bajaur Agency, aka Turban Central ...Smallest of the agencies in FATA. The soldiers killed in the attack have been identified as Captain Junaid Hafeez and Sepoy Raham and injuring four soldiers.
The Pak military officials are saying that the security forces responded to the attack and killed at least 10 holy warriors.
The Tehrik-e-Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... Pakistain grabbed credit behind the attack.
In a statement released to media, the group claimed that the attack was carried out as the Pak troops were busy erecting fences along the line.

[Khaama] At least four US soldiers sustained injuries in a suicide car kaboom in southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon in the vicinity of Dand district of Kandahar province after a jacket wallah detonated a vehicle packed with explosives near the convoy of the foreign forces.
"Four U.S. soldiers were maimed in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, from a vehicle-borne improvised bomb, according to Army Lt. Col. Koné Faulkner, a front man for the Resolute Support mission.
"We can confirm reports that a vehicle-born improvised bomb detonated in Kandahar province at approximately 2 p.m. today," Faulkner told Military Times. "There were a total of four U.S. service members injured and all are in stable, pH balanced condition in U.S. medical treatment facilities.
He said there were no coalition fatalities as a result of the attack, he added
The Talibs group in Afghanistan has grabbed credit behind the attack.
This comes as the security situation in Kandahar had proven during the recent months although the anti-government armed bad boy groups are attempting to destabilize the key southern provinces.
According to the security officials, the anti-government armed bad boy groups are attempting to carry out suicide kabooms and indirect attacks as their insurgency was suppressed during the offensive counter-terrorism operations in the summer time.
[All Africa] At least three kabooms, as well as heavy gunfire, were heard in the Zim-bob-we capital of Harare early Wednesday, according to local witnesses. Witnesses also said military vehicles and soldiers were on the streets early Wednesday, hours after soldiers took over Zim-bob-we's state broadcaster, ZBC. Local residents said instead of the usual 11 p.m. newscast, music videos were played instead.
A front man at the U.S. embassy in Harare told VOA the streets appeared calm overnight Wednesday and had no confirmed sightings of military vehicles. The embassy warned Americans via its web site to "shelter in their residences" and work from home on Wednesday. They said the embassy will be minimally staffed and closed to the public.

[Ynet] Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) said on Tuesday it would respect a decision by the country's federal court banning the region's secession.
"We believe that this decision must become a basis for starting an inclusive national dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad to resolve all disputes," the KRG said in a statement.
[WSJ] Another lesson in the price of lending to a socialist regime. aka, can't run a country on wishes, good thoughts and unicorn farts.
Milton Friedman once joked that if you put the government in charge of the Sahara Desert in five years there would be a shortage of sand. He could have been talking about Venezuela and its oil wealth. But it is no joke. But still I'm laughing
On Monday Caracas missed interest payments due on two government bonds and one bond issued by the state-owned oil monopoly known by its Spanish initials PdVSA. Venezuela owed creditors $280 million, which it couldn't manage even after a 30-day grace period.
Venezuela is broke, which takes some doing. For much of the second half of the 20th century, a gusher of oil exports made dollars abundant in Venezuela and the country imported the finest of everything. There were rough patches in the 1980s and 1990s, but by 2001 Venezuela was the richest country in South America.
Then in 2005 the socialist Hugo Chávez declared that the central bank had "excessive reserves." He mandated that the executive take the excess from the bank without compensation. Today the central bank has at best $1 billion in reserves.
Falling oil prices are partly to blame, but the main problem is that chavismo has strangled entrepreneurship. Faced with expropriation, hyperinflation, price controls and rampant corruption, human and monetary capital has fled Venezuela. Also the greed of humans that stripped the wealth of the country, aka communism/socialism
As of Tuesday evening, the Investment Swaps and Derivatives Association still had not declared Venezuela in default. That matters because this will trigger the insurance obligations inherent in the credit default swaps. But S&P Global Ratings declared the country in default Monday. On Tuesday morning the Luxembourg Stock Exchange issued a suspension notice for the bonds with missed payments.
President Nicolás Maduro has formed a commission to restructure up to $150 billion of the debt and put Vice President Tareck El Aissami ‐who is under U.S. sanctions for drug trafficking‐in charge. Mr. El Aissami called a meeting of creditors on Monday in Caracas, which most bondholders did not attend. Press reports said Mr. El Aissami delivered a monologue on Venezuela's intention to pay and took no questions. He argued that Trump Administration sanctions make it difficult for the dictatorship to arrange refinancing.
The real problem is that restructuring assumes the country can grow again. That's nearly impossible without a change in policy that will free the economy.
If Caracas doesn't find a way to settle with bondholders, they will soon ask authorities to seize Venezuelan assets such as oil shipments at sea and Citgo facilities in the U.S. Such are the wages socialism. And remember, the people voted for this. They still bemoan the current leadership that failed the vision of the previous, just like they did with Stalin.
The previous leader set the stage for the current. They are simply a continuation of the path that was started. And the people voted for this.

"It’s the deliberate dismantling of Western civilization in the attempt to remake it into a global Orwellian Socialist technocracy. It used to be that if your country fell under the Marxist bootheel, you could escape here, as my father-in-law did, and as many others have. It used to be that as it crept into America, you could leave the blue state for a red state. You could stay a step ahead of the Cultural Borg. Now, there’s really nowhere left to go. The Cultural Borg, meanwhile, continue marching on. And they are showing signs of adapting to Trump’s weaponry. I don’t know how long his rhetorical combativeness will continue to work on them."
Huffington ignored sexual misconduct in her news website
When Susan Fowler rocked Uber’s world with a meticulous account of the company’s sexual harassment and gender discrimination issues, the ride-sharing service turned to its only female board member to help clean up its culture (and its image). Arianna Huffington was perfectly poised to position herself as the feminist savior who would advocate for Uber’s women—she oversaw the subsequent Eric Holder investigation, and promised that “no brilliant jerks will be allowed, and no one will be protected because they are top performers.” But being a powerful woman with a stake in a company, and its profits, doesn’t mean Huffington was actually the best choice to champion women struggling to make their voices heard.
“We have recently learned that Matt Zimmerman engaged in inappropriate conduct with more than one woman at NBCU, which violated company policy,” a company spokesperson told TheWrap. “As a result he has been dismissed.”

[Ynet] Around 700 bodies lie in improvised morgues after terror group was expelled at the end of 2016 from the city of Sirte; 'We don't have enough fridges or we would have exhumed all the bodies.'
Due to the lack of resources, several hundred other IS corpses have been abandoned under the rubble in Sirte or in makeshift cemeteries dug by the jihadists.
In the wake of the battle during which US-led coalition air strikes backed Libyan security forces, decaying bodies on the streets of Sirte gave rise to fears of epidemic.
In a comment after an August visit that drew strong criticism, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said the country could one day become a magnet for tourists and investors once it can "clear the dead bodies away".
According to Tuwaileb's estimate, between 1,500 and 2,000 jihadists were buried in the Mediterranean city.
"We don't have enough fridges, or we would have exhumed all the bodies," said the Libyan official, who pointed out that the containers were loaned by private companies.
Out of the seven refrigerated containers in Misrata, three have broken down. "We've had to redistribute the bodies among the fridges that still work," said Tuwaileb.
But he said it has been a struggle, especially during the North African summer and constant power cuts. "So a backup has to be ready and we have to refuel it regularly," he said.
Opening one of the containers released a thick cloud of vapour that reeked of dead bodies and expanded on contact with the warm air outside.
Inside, white body bags smudged with blood and mud lay on metal shelves.
"The bags are numbered and classified. Each body has its own file, DNA sample... documents or other signs collected with each body," said Tuwaileb.
In January, 60 more bodies were added to the collection, of jihadists killed in air strikes south of Sirte in which Washington said its stealth B-2 bombers fired some 100 laser-guided missiles.
Tuwaileb said all the files have been transferred to the prosecutor general's office in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... to decide if and where the bodies are to be buried.
Based on documents found on the bodies, most the dead jihadists came from Tunisia, Egypt and Sudan, with some from Libya, but no families have come to Misrata to claim them.
"We don't know if countries have contacted the prosecutor general to recover the bodies of their nationals, but as far as we're concerned nobody's come here to try to identify the bodies," said Tuwaileb.
The prosecutor's office, contacted several times by AFP, declined to comment on the case.
"In the meantime, the bodies will stay here. The problem is that some of the companies who lent out the refrigerated containers want them back," he said. "Every time I tell them they can take the fridges if they want, but with the contents."

Why do they care? I'm thinking Burning Man - North-African style ....
[IsraelTimes] Border Authority officials intercept hundreds of contraband items en route to the Paleostinian enclave
If there’s one thing Israelis and Paleostinian murderous Moslems have in common, it’s a love for affordable Chinese-made products. The Defense Ministry said Tuesday that terror groups in the Gazoo Strip have been ordering equipment online in an attempt to smuggle contraband into the coastal enclave.
Among the sites favored by murderous Moslems is the popular Chinese online retailer AliExpress, the ministry said in a statement.
Among the items Israel intercepted in October were laser sights, small drones, telescopes, binoculars, metal detectors, hand-held radio equipment and knives.
Border Crossing Authority officials and members of the Defense Ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) at the Erez border crossing have seized hundreds of packages containing forbidden items that they suspected were headed to terror groups such as Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", and Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... , the statement said.
All mail packages heading into Gazoo are first checked by Israeli security officials. In recent weeks security teams have noticed a rise in the number of banned items disguised as legitimate packages.
Many of those items are defined by defense officials as having dual uses ‐ both civilian and military.
In recent weeks security staff have also recovered small motors, transformers, fiber-optical cable cutters, tiny electric drills, head-flashlights, and power supplies, the statement said.
In October, security personnel thwarted an attempt to smuggle thousands of military tactical shooting gloves into Gazoo Strip. The gloves were hidden in a shipment marked as clothing and brought to the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Earlier the same month, Defense Ministry Crossing Authority officials intercepted a shipment of military-style boots bound for the Strip that had been hidden inside colorful, cartoon-adorned slippers.

Where's the pic of Rino lemmings going over the cliff? The Rinos are going to end up giving the Senate away but then again it is a "do nothing" Rino obstructionist Senate--looks like they are doing the work of the lefty Donks for them.
What's going on with Sen. Menendez these days?
I'm thinking all elections are rigged except for DJT election.

Roy Moore handled a dismissed divorce decree for Mrs. Nelson in 1999.
Though Nelson says she never met Roy Moore after the alleged assault, he did meet her when he handled her divorce. Judge Moore states he never signed his name with a D.A. but the only instance of using a D.A. is his assistant initializing with a D.A. after his signature. His assistant at the time had the initials D.A. This appears on the divorce paperwork from 1999.

At least 16 Taliban fighters were killed and nine security force members killed in separate attacks on security installations in Farah province on Monday night.
Officials said 16 Taliban fighters and 21 others were wounded in a battle against the Afghan security forces in Khatiban area of Farah province late Monday night. Four ANA and Afghan National Police (ANP) officers were also killed in this attack.
The encounter happened when dozens of militants tried to storm Afghan security forces' check posts.
The battle continued until late night and Afghan National Army (ANA) choppers inflicted a heavy casualty toll on the militant group, said Mohammad Iqbal Baher, spokesman for Farah police headquarters.

Bahaa Eldin Ziad Hasan Masarwa was convicted of contacting a foreign agent and supporting a terror organizations and originally sentenced last March to 46 months in prison with a 12-month suspended sentence. Ahmad Nabil Ahmad was convicted of conspiracy to commit a crime and given 22 months and a six-month suspended sentence.
After accepting the prosecutor’s appeal the court increased Masarwa’s sentence to 58 months in prison and that of Ahmad to 30 months.
Meanwhile Monday, three men, one of whom is already in prison for security offenses, were indicted on terror-related offenses including money laundering, the Justice Ministry said in a statement.
The Northern District prosecutor’s office filed indictments at the Nazareth District Court against Ahmed Hassan, 25, a Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", terror group operative who is already in prison for security offenses; Sa’ad Abu Varda, 26, a resident of the Gazoo Strip who had been residing in Israel without a permit since 2011; and Ayman Salhav, 42, from Jerusalem.
All were accused of security offenses including contacting with a foreign agent, membership in a terror organization and money laundering.
According to court papers Varda would send money from his wages to his family in Gazoo via various channels, even though he knew that transfers of upwards of NIS 12,000 ($3,400) from Israel to Gazoo require official permission.
During October 2017, Hassan, a convicted member of Hamas who in 2009 began a 17-year sentence for security offenses, telephoned Salhav and instructed him to go to a meeting with Varda in Nazareth where he was to receive sums of money destined for transfer to the Gazoo Strip.
Some of the money was intended to be paid as compensation to a former prisoner in Israel who was released as part of the 2011 prisoner exchange deal for IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
Salhav attended the meeting and received NIS 48,500 ($13,690) from Varda. He was arrested shortly afterwards near Afula.
Prosecutors asked that Varda and Salhav be held until the end of proceedings.

The group affiliated to Daesh in Yemen claimed responsibility for a suicide car bombing early Tuesday that targeted security forces in the southern port city of Aden, killing at least six people and injuring scores.
Two suicide bombers detonated a car packed with explosives in Yemen’s southern city of Aden on Tuesday, killing at least six people, witnesses said.
Dozens of other people, including civilians, were wounded in the attack, which occurred outside a camp used by a local security force organized by the Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen’s Houthi terrorist militia.
Witnesses described a huge explosion that shook the Al-Mansoura district in northern Aden, destroying at least one building and shattering windows in others.
The attack caused panic in this densely populated area, which is busy with schools, markets and street vendors.
Ambulances rushed to the scene to evacuate the wounded. Pictures circulating on social media showed several young men in military uniform being carried away.
Extremist militants have exploited the fighting in Yemen to try to recruit more followers and expand their influence in the country, which sits near main shipping lanes.
The camp attacked on Tuesday was occupied by a local force called the Security Belt, in Al-Mansoura.
The Security Belt was set up by the United Arab Emirates to help restore security to the port city, the temporary capital of Hadi’s government after the Saudi-led coalition helped local fighters drive the Houthis terrorist militia out of Aden in 2015.
The Daesh affiliate in Yemen claimed responsibility in an online statement, hours after the attack. It named the suicide bomber as Abu Hagar Al-Adani, which indicates the attacker hailed from Aden.
This attack was the second by Daesh in Aden in less than two weeks. On Nov. 5, militants attacked the security headquarters in Aden, killing 18 and injuring many more, taking over the building, and seizing hostages.
