#1 A show of strength is hundreds of tanks, artillery pieces, IFV's and tens of thousands of mech infantry arrayed in battle order, along with a numbered air force's planes doing a fly-by. This isn't a show of strength. It's a measly tripwire force aimed at warning the Russians that NATO will respond if they cross the border.
