#9 Best ~~slum lord~~ rental story I've ever heard was a colleague who owned a condo near Dam Neck, VA. He instructed the property manager that he wanted USN renters only, ie, people assigned to the Naval and Marine Intelligence School at Dam Neck. Making sure your renters are obliged to keep their TS/SCI clearance in a high-state of repair does wonders for monthly rent collection.
