#1 Old news for those of us paying attention. How else can you fund Planned Parenthood and all the freebies for illegal aliens. The gov has been robbing this blind for years. Go figure...less workers, less $$ coming into the system...G*D forbid we shut off the "pork" faucet

#2 They won't cut the benefits across the board. They'll cut the benefits to those who have other sources of income, or perhaps they'll cap the benefits (and/or increase the taxes on the benefits.) Effectively it will be welfare and not savings.

"MINOR/EXPENDABLE" TERRITORIES, ERGO CHINA SEES NO REASON WHY THE US SHOULDN'T JUST GIVE THEM UP TO CHINA'S SPHERE OF INFLUENCE.
