#1 I suspect this will all eventually lead to war. We must watch the Communist Chinese closely. I hope we are prepared for this one.

#2 Perhaps, but I suspect it is just negotiating. Too much for both sides to lose if it goes hot. I doubt they'd be making as much noise if there were a donk in the WH.
