Hmmm..if they are so motivated to fight, why are they waiting for permission to cross the border? Are they playing Simon Says?

#3 It's absurd, and yes, indeed we heard that thousands of volunteers (from Pakistan) were going to Afghanistan.

Actually, there WERE Pakistani volunteers who were foolish enough to go. They were slaughtered.

The same thing will happen to anyone trying to help the Iraqis. Look at the map. There are hundreds of miles of open desert, and very few roads, between the Syrian and Jordanian borders and Iraq. Unless you're walking, how do you cross that zone in a vehicle without being seen? How do you cross in any kind of numbers without being seen? There have already been many reports of fried vehicles that have tried.

The "waiting for permission" line is the giveaway. "I wanted to go, but they wouldn't let me!"

Those who do try to go will meet the same fate as the fools from Pakistan.

And what about the brave Arab armies? Syria has an "army" and Egypt has an "air force." They want to play?

Didn't think so.
