#1 Sorry I don't have a link but I read somewhere the rehired dock workers have had their wages doubled from 50 cents to a dollar. I hope that's an hourly raise and not daily but still a good deal for the workers. (Knock wood it doesn't jump start inflation there.)

#2 These stories are going to be repeated over and over again once the people realize that they are safe and can trust us.

A critical mass will develop. There really is no question about it. We need to be patience and stay with the big plan. Treat the Iraqi people fairly and decently and we cannot lose.

Saddam is doomed.

#3 I've always thought that a big reason the Iraqi people wouldn't be lining the road with flowers for us when we showed up was what happened to them in '91. And I can't blame them for that. But as each day goes by, and they're convinced we're there to stay and finish the bastard, situations like this should become the norm.
