#4 That way too low. In 2006 a Saudi report claimed at least 2000 Saudis jihadis were killed in Iraq. Yemen isn't that that far behind the Saudis.

#6 We really need to return to the moon, and stay this time. It wouldn't be that difficult to erect a magnetic launch rail aimed at Earth. With a little inertial guidance, a nice 500m³ rock could be guided to a smack-down anywhere, while the launcher is all but unasailable. Smack on into Riyadh when the "royals" are in residence, and watch the jihad rate halve. Hit Qom, and see it drop even more. Smack Damascus, and watch hezbollah, hamas, and fatah crumble into dust. Watch the UN seethe and whine and prove its impotence to the entire world. I can't see any drawbacks...
