Indian PM accepts Bush ranch invite

New Delhi, Aug. 7: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has accepted an invitation from United States President George W. Bush to visit his ranch in Texas, but the dates have not been finalised, the spokesman of the ministry of external affairs said.

The spokesman said on Tuesday: "The Prime Minister has accepted the invitation. However, the dates are yet to be fixed." He was responding to a question regarding reports about an invitation to Prime Minister Singh to undertake a bilateral visit during which talks would be held at President Bushs private Crawford ranch in Texas.

The Prime Minister is unlikely to travel abroad till September 10 because of the Monsoon Session of Parliament and his visit to the US is expected in the third week of next month.

#2 He said the Kashmir issue wouldnt be resolved on table adding that allowing free entry to Jihadis in Kashmir can resolve the issue within one month.

They've been trying that since 1947... but the Indian Army keeps killing them like roaches...

#7 I am going to guess that this is one of the jihadis elected to Parliament - who is now trying to deflect blame for killing the Chinese nationals from his faction to Uncle Sam. I bet he says it was Israelis who carried out 9/11 - even though what he actually believes is likely what actually happened - jihadis carried out all of the above.

While Zhang Fei is likely most spot on, I still like john frum's idea better.

America has yet to pay proper respect for the post 9-11 parliament attacks in India. If we are so dedicated to global democracy, the attacks in New Delhi should have grounds for nuclear war. Had such an assault occurred here in America, significant tracts of the MME (Muslim Middle East) would already be smoking glass. All this time, no-effing-one in America has recognized India's restraint in holding back from turning Pakistan into a glow-in-the-dark parking lot. India, along with Israel, both deserve high praise for their sense of moderation. Their Islamic foes exhibit no such courtesy and deserve even less in return.
