#1 Israel believes that the US Army might be interested in the system to protect its forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

One might hazard a guess that Israeli citizens would be interested in a system to protect themselves from short-range missiles.

#3 As much as Israel uses airspace over Gaza with drones, helicopters, other aircraft, I wonder if that is the reason for their reluctance to utilise this and other technology?
