#2 Zanu PF and the ANC have made such sterling progress since the end of white rule ~~of law~~. They are finally free to murder and rape without fear of ~~prosecution~~ persecution. I am embarrassed that we took the lead role in dismantling, not reforming , but dismantling the govt there with the S.A. divestiture. Let them eat each other for lunch, I think we've messed around with Africa enough, it never helps, it only leads to worse and worse conditions.

Some little problems with your 'well thought-out diatribe':

1. There is a sizeable muslim population in South Africa.

2. If it collapses, it will still have an infrastructure and an industrial base that is better than most of sub-saharan Africa.

3. If it collapses, the population isn't going to place the blame squarely on the shoulders of Mbeki and his government.

4. Islamists seem to gravitate to situations like that.
