#1 Morsi failed to support the Sunni who are being oppressed in Iran (and to some extent Iraq) while supporting the Sunni in Syria who are being oppressed by the Alawites. Of course, he doesn't mention the Shiite who are being oppressed by Sunni in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Etc.

True. There was a lot of what we would call 'nuance' or 'careful ambiguity' in Morsi's comments.

I don't think this matters that much.

IMO Iran will placate it also given how its MilPol surrounding main Sunni rival KSA, vee Hezbollah + IRGC elements.

Again, GWOT + OWG-NWO = as much an INTER-MUSLIM/ISLAMIC COMPETITION FOR POWER [dominance] + INFLUENCE AS ANYTHING ELSE, ESPEC AS PER DESIRED FUTURE OWG "CALIPHATE" + "UMMAH". The KSA's long-standing position os Defender of the Faith + Islamic Holy Places is being challenged by several historical Centres of Thought in which Shia Iran is but one.

FYI Iran announced it wants to set a troika of several nations, including Venezuela, to solve the Syria crisis.
