#1 I expect to be in Northern Israel sometm nxt week.
Currently I'm in Ramat Gan, near the Bialik shopping district (which, like much of the country, has become infested with feral cats).
I heard an interesting euphemism. Some people here refer to the local Arabs as, 'our cousins' or 'our dear cousins'. By context, it seems to be used the way Rantburg moderators sometime use 'always the voice of sweet reason' to refer to Hamas.

"Bless their hearts;" another quaint way of saying, "them dumb-asses."

It's a Southern thing. Up north they aren't so delicate about it. I've no idea what is said out west...

#7 And thank you for the report, lord garth. "Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason," comes straight from Fred's keyboard.
