#1 Looks like my problems were Internet Explorer related. It hung up a few minutes ago, and now the posting looks OK.

To meet the standard, new coal-fired power plants would need to install expensive technology to capture carbon dioxide and bury it underground. No coal-fired power plant has done that yet, in large part because of the cost. And those plants that the EPA points to as potential models, such as a coal plant being built in Kemper County, Miss., by Southern Co., have received hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants and tax credits.

Your tax dollars at work.

#2 The whole idea that Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a pollutant is proof that the EPA has nothing to do with the Environment or Ecology and everything to do with government control.
CO2 is required for plants to live which are required for humans to live. It is as important to the environment as oxygen.

What's next? Declaring Oxygen a pollutant?

#3 How about after every senior employee of the EPA is equipped and required to wear a recirculating breathing device at work.

#4  Declaring Oxygen a pollutant?

It is an extremely reactive, corrosive gas. Any more of it in our atmosphere and the whole damn place would go up in flames.

What surprises me about Obama's War on Coal is that anyone is surprised by it. He explicitly said he was going to do this.

No, it's more likely to be declaring anyone who doesn't fit some eugenic standard to be a pollutant.
