Besides denying use of Luzon's well-developed Air-Sea Ports [Subic, Clark, etc.] to the USDOD + aligned, the PLA needs Luzon to also extend the range of its anti-Naval/Carrier DF-21 ASBMS, + Heavy + Tac StrikeAir, + other LRBMS to deter any US intervening force coming in from EASTPAC.

IMO its as if the US CODEL of McCain + Levine are enticing China + PLA to attack + takeover GUAM-WESTPAC???
