#1 Turn them over to the Army. The Air Force never wanted them anyway and make an exception that fixed wing aircraft can be flown by the Army in ground support roles.

Let the Air boys go play with their high and fast planes.

#2 And if the Air Farce is unwilling to turn the A-10 over to the Army, then start firing every general that recommends retiring the A-10. And yes, I am seriously sick of the Air Farce's arrogance.
