#4 The Ozzies also had a big serving of multiculturalism at a cafe in Sydney recently. I suspect that might color their view of such stunts. Never mind the impropriety of taking an oath an a book that advocates against Western values like freedom of speech, freedom of religion and equality for all.

#5 Thanks for pointing that out, Canuckistan Sniper. I totally overlooked the 2013 date because the there is also a current date at the top of the page. Sorry, Rantburgers! I'd delete this article now, but I don't want to eliminate the Gilbert, Sullivan, and Shipman collaboration. But if Rantburg protocol is to delete non-current articles, then (someone) please do.
