#1 If Americans committed the same level of murder, rape, and assault in Mexico and Central America that their brethren do in America, the borders would have been closed to the Yankee years ago. You certainly wouldn't be seeing HGTV house hunters international filming in such countries because no one would be permitted to sale land to such a plague.

#3 Open border means no background checks. IOW, we don't know who is coming across the border. Most of them are probably honest, fun loving, hard working, family oriented people looking for work and a chance to improve their lives. I've met quite a few like that. But you're also gonna get rapists, murderers and narco terrorists. So, yeah. Trump was right.
