#4 Why aren't the Saudis using mercenariescontractors?

Through endless temporizing the Pakistanis made it semi-clear that they were uninterested in participating, while Egypt reluctantly sent some ground troops recently, after sending a/some ships (I'm afraid I don't remember how many, though an article was posted here at the time) to blockade Yemeni ports, preventing Iran from resupplying the Houthis, Sven. Beyond that, I couldn't say.

#5 Mercs are OK as long as you keep them away from the 'Old Country' and make sure they get paid regularly. Saudis probably still remember the Janissaries (not the mention the Mamelukes) from their long run-ins with the Turks and the complications of having non-tribal troops in or around the the throne.
