#2 President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday urged people of the country not to observe Valentine's Day, saying that it was not a part of Muslim tradition, but of the West.

Ya know, I have no problem with this statement. He's correct. The problem comes when you look at the details in the "urging". Now, if anyone wants to celebrate they should be allowed to. If your urging means asking them not to fine. If your urging involves stones, whips or iron bars? Not cool.
