#1 Calling them all thugs is both mean and a bit unfair. A lot of them are grifters, scam artists and professional rabble-rousers.

In a word, *bullshit*. Your department leadership (and I use that term loosely) may not have the balls to stand up to bad behavior, but the cops on the street weren't calling you "outraged" over referring to BLM as "thugs".

#6 I suspect a deeper story here going back to the Mosby trial failures and the entire embrassment of the Mayor. This is just the excuse they were waiting for to punish the police union for their failure to submit to the political leadership.
