#1 So the same geniuses that gave us the F-35 want to flush a bizzilion dollars down the toilet on another FUBAR aircraft program.

#2 Here's a novel thought: During the A-12 Flying Dorito project days, a modular gas tank was conceptualized for slipping into the 'Weapons Bay," so the bird could act as a LDSS (Lawn Dart Support System.) since there would be no more KA-6Ds and the KS-3A was only a one-off.
Perhaps the Ascot Corps could designate a few B-2s as Lightning tankers......

#3 SPOD, bad news my friend. The Air Force just accepted their 100th f-35, the USMC is preparing to deploy to Japan and already aboard An LHA, the new landing control system on the F-35c is so accurate it's scraping holes at the 3rd wire and letting even me and you night qualify. I will grant you a Fokker Dr-1 can out turn it as can an Me-109, which do you want to fly?
