#1 Kinda seems that folks from the last administration that might have performed more/better are making trips.

Maybe they got the briefing and are 'updating their cronies' on how they're gonna act now? Something they don't want intercepted (telecon, email, broadcast, VPN, NIPR...) that's bettered delivered F2F?
