#1 I just hope Oklahoma doesn't allow lawsuits by bereaved relatives of the perps.

#2 Nice upscale community, underground utilities, newish 3-4 bdrm house, fresh sealed asphalt street,...19 year old son living at home with an AR handy, 3 dead suspects with whom words were exchanged and an unknown witness.

I would immediately assume a collection attempt on an unpaid drug debt was the motive.

#3 My 89 year-old Grandmother shot a man who was on her screened front porch through the front door as he was trying to break in. Fortunately for him he survived. This was in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She wasn't charged with anything.

If so - poor TTPs by the bad guys. Why not wait until he goes out to buy more drugs and thump him? I suspect these turds were just run of the mill ferals looking for an easy score of cash, phones, jewelry. They forgot about rule 223.

#5 TTPs? Definition, please.

#6 Son is 23, not 19.

Perps were wearing masks, dressed in black and wearing gloves. Not your usual daytime 'debt collection' attire. Usually you would want the 'indebted' to know who was requesting payment.

#8 The homeowner's son volunteered to give a statement at the Sheriff's office.

Hopefully he had legal representation.

#9 #3 Fortunately for him he survived. This was in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She wasn't charged with anything. There is a Public Citizen of the Year Award. It requires that you "Make a significant contribution to an area or population and to show courage."

#10 A contribution by thatching the population a bit?

#11 An OK resident who is familiar with the area posted that the neighborhood had experienced a rash of break-in's lately. It's a bit early, but I will go out on a limb and predict a tapering.
