#1 The usual screeching will occur over his action being "anti free speech." In his governmental role, he did not stop anybody from kneeling or doing anything else. As a citizen, he exercised his right to disagree with the speech of others. Severely subtle distinction always totally missed by the "press." Sort of like semi-auto / auto. They just don't get it. Not because it's hard, but because they just don't want to...

#2 Eric Bell (NFL player) called it a 'publicity stunt'. We've seen this sort of thing all throughout Obama's presidency - it's not the actions / 'stunts' of the left that are the problem, it is our reaction to these events that is the problem. Note that the NFL decided to shut its mouth on Sunday about this one, having seen the fallout (read - TV ratings hit) they've got whacked with the past few weeks.

#3 A bit more discreet than his boss, VP Pence stopped short of calling them all 'worthless SOB's.' Perhaps if his wife had not been along.....

Average Annual Salary: $2,120,184.00 Guaranteed Total Guaranteed: $8,480,736

#7 Re #4 Fixed url

Excerpt: Jones and the rest of the team knelt arm-in-arm before the national anthem before a game against the Arizona Cardinals two weeks ago, days after President Trump reignited the anthem-protest controversy.

Man speak with forked tongue, if he really believed that, he wouldn't link arms in the first place. He's a bald faced liar who'll say anything to keep the fans from leaving, He's only about the money.

#8 Last Wednesday the American Legion Post in Mason, Ohio banned the NFL 'games' from being shown on the Posts TV screens. NASCAR and baseball remained as the bar entertainment...no complaints.

#9 Did Pence pay for his ticket? If the NFL got his coins then the walk-out really is meaningless.

#11 Players are replaceable, have always been. Fans, not so much. On the accounting books, employees are carried as a cost to the bottom line. Fans as an asset. Maybe they need new fans. It's not like die hard soccer fans from south of the border are going to be a good alternative. Maybe they can entice the Chinese. Then again, the Chinese might be puzzled by rich black men taking the knee.

#15 The Dolts and Forty-whiners game huh.

Yes. But the stadium owners should be a bit concerned. Parking, concessions, merchandise. Spent as much, if not more, on parking, food and trinkets as I did on the tickets. Advertisers pay big money to have their logo viewed at the stadium. Commercials on the big screen in between camera takes. Programs and their ad content.

Me, I got the Scrabble board out and played a round with the kids, turned on some music (kids absolutely love late 70s/early 80s).

#16 And I bet you that the content providers know exactly what channels are being watched and for how long, especially satellite providers. Probably can add some filters, like channel has been on for x hours with no activity (maybe even sound adjustments), probably not being watched.

These stats are need to establish advertising rates. Local dude wanted me to advertise with them, gave me a rate 'prime time 5-7 on the ESPN and all major news channels.' Why would I want to do that? Not my customers, so not at that price. Dude gave me that I know I know, just trying to do my job look.
