#1 ...You know, I GET this. I understand. They wanted things to be better, the same way my Dad's great grandparents and my Mom's parents felt...when they carefully made their plans, played by the rules and came here.

But taking a child on something like this with nothing more than the vague hope that everything will 'work out'...no.

The man took his son because he was told that parents with children are being allowed to settle in the U.S., and that the opportunity would be lost once the border wall is built. The boy’s step-sister refused to say who transported the boy and his father to the American border.

An autopsy revealed that the boy died of the flu.
