#1 "Another cold day in Chicago,"
Sez Frank to a half-frozen Iago.
"Just wait," weighs in Satan,
"At the rate that they're hatin',
D.C.'ll be Doctor Zhivago!"

#8 it is 34 degrees at the Cape Shirreff Field Station In Antarctica.

As a pedantic geography nerd, allow me to point out that the Cape Shirreff field station is near the tip of the Antarctic peninsula (the tip of the duck's beak, if you will) at approximately 62 degrees south latitude. It is not the south pole and if memory serves, the climate on the peninsula is considered maritime and not polar.
