#1 According to this, they have decided to refund all to original donors. I suspect their legal department told them having a bunch of states' AGs on their backs for fraud might be bad for business.

#5 And having worked for a credit card processor for nearly five years, I can tell you that is a legitimate use of charge back. Plus if you more than 3-4, the processor typically boots you from their service.

Me, I'd attribute this to not wanting to piss off the credit card companies ala #5, rather than running afoul of Soros AGs.
