#2 FYI - glass is also a liquid. Old windows will "flow" with gravity over many decades so the bottoms get thicker and can get distorted

#6 We actually had to deal with that a few years ago with our church's large stained glass windows, Frank.

They've been there for 150 years or so and had to be re-tucked and re-braced to accommodate the thickened parts.
