#2 "A Turner switchboard operator ???? was fired today after we were alerted to a conversation the operator had with a caller in which the operator lost his temper and expressed his personal views -- behavior that was totally inappropriate. His comments did not reflect the views of CNN.....which are? We are reaching out to the caller (with hush money) and expressing our deep regret to her and apologizing that she did not get the ~~courtesy~~ political-speak and backpeddling entitled to her. #4 So what!!!! The operator was a minimum wage employee that is fired for defending CNN! He did not put the X on the screen, he just defended it. So what happened to the guys that actually did the deed? Who was it and what does CNN spin doctors say about him. Or is this ignorant operator going to be the fall guy for it all?

Admonishing Ms. Goldberg to open the envelopes in sequence when the preverbal dung hit the fan. In the first envelope is the instruction to âBlame everything on me.â The second envelope reads âReorganizeâ, The third envelope reportedly advises to âPrepare three envelopesâ.

#7 49, I agree the guy responsible for the X should be fired (he's probably been promoted) but the operator made the problem a thousand times worse by being the voice of an unapologetic, totally bias, news channel.

I expect all of the folks answerings CNNs phones will go through some kind of training after this, either that or they'll shut down the phones.
