Give each and every one of the a Trillion Dollar Coin. Making change on purchases may be a problem. At least until the USA enters the Zimbabwe stage.
[Brownstone Inst.] There are many reasons why so many US public schools remained persistently closed for well over a year, but at the top of the list is Randi Weingarten. She is the President of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and served as the self-appointed and media-anointed spokesperson for teachers’ unions throughout the pandemic.
Weingarten appeared regularly across national media outlets for well over two years, relentlessly touting the dangers of public schools and the risk to teachers from in-person instruction. She also painted anyone who advocated for schools to open as heartless and cruel. Now that it’s become clear what a disaster closed schools were, Weingarten is attempting to rewrite history. She is pretending that she had nothing to do with the school closures at all, and she seems to expect us all to accept this blatant lie.
The catastrophic harms done are clear — two decades of educational progress erased, high rates of chronic absenteeism, violence in the schools, severe teen mental health impacts, and declining public school enrollment. So, now Weingarten wants to distance herself from having had any part of it. More egregiously, she is trying to position herself as the hero fighting for public school openings the entire time.
Weingarten has expressed no remorse. She has offered no apology, only more lies. And it’s a real slap in the face for those who did fight and put everything on the line to do so.
I know what really happened. Since March 2020, I have challenged school closures as harmful to a generation of children. Because I fought for schools to open, I lost my job as the Brand President at Levi’s in January 2022, after close to 23 years of service to the company.
In June 2021, more than a year into my advocacy, I was told I needed to do an "apology tour" at the company. Apologize for what, you might ask? Well, in a pre-meeting prep email, I was given a lengthy list and one of the things I was told that I needed to apologize for was being "anti-union."
Because, if you dared to challenge prolonged school closures throughout covid, you were smeared as being both anti-union and anti-public education.
In fact, I’ve been a lifelong supporter of public schools. My two oldest children graduated from the San Francisco Unified School District, and my two younger children are currently enrolled in the Denver public school system. I appreciate and respect public school teachers. But the teachers’ unions have proven over the last few years that they will fight for their own interests at the expense of our children. And now, after the last three years, I am indeed officially anti-teachers’ union.
My executive peers at Levi’s who claimed to support the unions and public schools send their own kids to $60K a year private schools. These institutions opened for in-person instruction in the Fall of 2020. One of the reasons these schools were able to open was that they employ non-union educators and staff.
Despite the evident hypocrisy, my peers had no qualms about telling me I couldn’t advocate for public school openings. Weingarten had effectively painted people like me as villains, and the world piled on.
Not only was I called anti-union by employees at Levi’s, but I was also called "racist." The company leadership has since claimed that my activism amounted to unacceptable criticism of public health guidelines and undermined the company’s health and safety policies. Read the rest at the link

Covid exposed the teachers unions like an alligator in the backyard snapping at the kids. All the destruction agendas and negative interests are now clear. Randi periodically clams that unions are advocating for kids, but that is like the alligator trying to camouflage itself as a rock again. Nobody is buying her baloney.

This is all Dems/Branch Covidians/MSM do is lie, lie, and like some more, and they just continue to be like Teflon.
[American Thinker] Uniparty propagandist and Deep State shill Bill Barr is waddling from one television studio to the next to tell audiences that the feds will almost certainly indict Donald Trump by late summer for mishandling classified documents. The Cheka FBI has been outed as a criminal enterprise engaged in subverting elections and spying on the American people, but sure, let's get all worked up about whether the president of the United States — in whom the Constitution's Article II executive powers are vested — has somehow inexplicably infringed his own declassification authority. Although Augustus Gloop Barr can barely conceal his joy, this tiring new chapter in the never-ending "get Trump" saga comes off as yet another manifestation of Bizarro World, in which a group of criminals running the American government get to pretend that nobody is "above the law."
Walrus Barr enjoys playing the "scolding father" who "knows best" in a worn-out daddy routine alongside scripted corporate news hosts performing for the cameras. Although he remains a consummate Deep State stooge who will do anything to prevent Donald Trump from returning to the Oval Office, he also spends a great deal of TV time burnishing his "I'm the only adult in the room" bona fides. He has called out New York State's vindictive lawsuits against President Trump as a "political hit job" and "gross overreach." He has excoriated Democrat district attorney of New York Alvin Bragg's Trump indictment as an "abomination" that "makes us look like a banana republic." He acknowledges that the Durham probe proves that "Russiagate" has not only been a "grave injustice" to Trump, but has also "vindicated" the president's accurate denunciation of the Clinton-Obama Russia Hoax conspiracy as a "witch hunt" from the very beginning. Barr readily admits, in other words, that state and federal prosecutors have shamelessly pursued Trump for recklessly and maliciously partisan reasons that have threatened both the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power in the United States.
After broadly recognizing the seriousness of the Deep State's crimes and the depth of its depravity, though, loyal palace guard Barr then sweeps these horrific State crimes to the side, shakes his head in disgust, and instead blames his former boss for being "his own worst enemy." Right. How dare the guy who has been doggedly persecuted for seven years fight back against Intelligence Community villainy? How dare the same guy who has been framed by agents of the Stasi FBI and DOJ now distrust those corrupted agencies? How dare Donald Trump call out the new batch of criminal investigations as part and parcel of the longstanding political "witch hunt" against him when Barr begrudgingly concedes that the "witch hunt" is real?

None of us slobs is above the law and if we get uppity the unaccountable bullies will implement some new laws that we can be under. So there.

When the dust settles and Trump is long gone I hope someone studies Trump Derangement Syndrome where seemingly intelligent folk throw careers and reputations i not the toilet in their insane hope the impossible will happen and hurt Trump. It truly is a bizarre phenomena.
[AmericanThinker] Last September, the Navy promoted and installed a new Vice Chief of Naval Operations. Then Vice Admiral Lisa Franchetti got her 4th star and was appointed to the second-highest position in the Navy. Now after a scant seven months, the betting line going around D.C. is that she will likely be the next CNO based on the identity politics track record of President Biden. When President Biden had an opportunity to appoint to the Supreme Court, before assessing anyone’s qualifications, he announced that a black woman would get that seat, and he followed up on that promise. Would an identity-based selection for the Navy’s top leader be in the best interest of the Navy and the Nation? No, the nation needs and deserves the very best warrior to lead the Navy into our threatened future.
Admiral Franchetti is a journalism graduate of Northwestern University NROTC, a non-STEM degree which itself is unusual, as the Navy strongly favors STEM degrees for officers. She has a Master’s Degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, an online university. Her biography does not mention any war college credential. In contrast, her predecessor Admiral William Lescher had multiple commands in combat zones, was a test pilot, had multiple advanced degrees in naval technical fields and his commands won multiple combat zone merit awards. To naval professionals, for someone to have been promoted to the Navy’s highest rank and second highest position based on a NROTC commissioning source with a liberal arts degree, an online masters, no war college or combat zone credentials, would be considered inconceivable. Perhaps her success is based on a particularly spectacular service record?
Admiral Franchetti’s career path reveals sea tours on a tender, oiler, and three destroyers including command of the USS Ross (DDG-71) and command of a destroyer squadron. Her biography does not mention any of her commands received awards while she was in command.

She has actual experience pertinent to her possible assignment. This is against the Biden mold. My expectation is that, if promoted, she will do little of note. That has not been the norm in the Biden freak show so we will see.

[Washington Examiner] Many Democratic leaders just won’t give up their nefarious court-packing schemes. They also keep repeating flagrant falsehoods to support the idea.
Last week, Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and other Democrats introduced a bill to expand the Supreme Court from nine seats to 13. The goal, obviously, is to rig the high court for the Left to take over what is considered a 6-3 conservative majority.
As we have argued before, court-packing flies in the face of history, tradition, and logic, not to mention legitimacy in the eyes of the public. The court has stood at nine members for 154 years and has exceeded that number only once during the emergency of the Civil War.
That case is easy to make. What bears recapitulation is the refutation of the Left’s falsehoods to remind the public of the record of 40 years of judicial nomination battles.
Markey’s explanation for the latest court-packing bill was mendacious to the max.
"When a bully steals your lunch money in the schoolyard, you have to do something about it, or else the bully will come back over and over again," he said. "So we’re in this fight, and we’re going to reclaim these seats. We’re not going to allow the bully to win."
Markey is alleging that conservatives or Republicans have been the collective "bully" in the court fights. The facts show the opposite. For four decades, the Left has abused the process, with Republicans being the victims.
By the middle of President Ronald Reagan’s first term, the Left was using the American Bar Association to scuttle judicial nominees on spurious ideological grounds. By 1986, leftists earned their first major scalp by blocking the judicial nomination of Alabama’s Jeff Sessions, leveling accusations of "racism" against him despite the public record strongly indicating the opposite.
Successful in that endeavor, they used what then were utterly unprecedented bullying tactics to block the Supreme Court nomination of the eminently qualified Judge Robert Bork, with Massachusetts’ Sen. Ted Kennedy unleashing a screed against Bork so defamatory that "borking" became a new word in the political lexicon meaning false and extreme character assassination. It was the forerunner of cancel culture.
[Blaze] Supreme Court Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch slammed the sweeping use of emergency powers during the pandemic as "breathtaking" in scale.
"Since March 2020, we may have experienced the greatest intrusions on civil liberties in the peacetime history of this country," Trump appointee Justice Gorsuch wrote, in pertinent part.
The unsigned order to which the statement was attached addressed a case rendered moot by the expiration of Title 42 May 11, as explained in The Hill. Title 42 was the Trump-era order allowing migrants to be more expeditiously expelled based in the emergency situation created by the pandemic.
The conservative justice spared neither presidents nor states nor lawmakers nor colleagues in his pointed remarks.
"The concentration of power in the hands of so few may be efficient and sometimes popular. But it does not tend toward sound government," Gorsuch wrote.
"However wise one person or his advisors may be, that is no substitute for the wisdom of the whole of the American people that can be tapped in the legislative process."
Gorsuch took aim at government-imposed vaccine mandates, lockdowns, church and school closures while other businesses like casinos remained open, the eviction moratorium, and federal officials' apparent pressure on social media companies to tamp down speech expressing disagreement with government's approaches to pandemic management.
He chastised Congress and state legislatures' silence in the face of executive officials issuing orders that ought to have gone through the lawmaking process.
[Gateway] Former deputy national security adviser under former President Donald Trump, K. T. McFarland, joined Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street on Friday to discuss the Durham Report and others.
In a stunning allegation, McFarland said that the FBI, Justice Department, and CIA are planning to rig the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election.
According to McFarland, these intelligence agencies, having succeeded in rigging the 2016 and 2020 elections, aim to prevent Donald Trump from winning.
"We now have black-and-white evidence that the FBI interfered in the 2016 election. When they failed to elect Hillary Clinton, they set out to destroy the Trump administration," said McFarland.
Back in 2016, ahead of the presidential elections, the FBI suddenly dropped FOUR investigations into Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, according to the Durham report.

McFarland has been in and out of the beltway for decades and is well connected. She knows exactly what is going on and who is pulling the strings.
The Klingons and their Deep State comrades will go with what they know. It obviously worked for them in the last election. It may have, in some degree, worked for them in numerous previous elections.
Again, get rid of the dominion machines, mail-in's, and drop boxes, you'll likely get rid of a majority of the problem.

2016 WAS rigged, hence the resulting insanity by the Dems. It was rigged, should have worked but failed due the6 citizenry. Everything we're seeing today is because they failed in 2016 but succeeded in 2020.

GOP will do absolutely nothing about it except scream and yell about it and the new Trey Gowdy, Jim Jordan, will talk about this and that and nothing much.
BLUF:
[Paul Craig Reports] As the Democrats control the major cities in most states and thereby the election rules and vote counting, It doesn’t matter how people vote. As Stalin said, the only thing that matters is who counts the vote. Only a total fool would expect Democrats to count votes that gave victory to Republicans.
GEOFOR: Passions around the American public debt, inflation, jobs and the possible new collapses of American banks are only growing. Tell us, please, what awaits the American economy in the foreseeable future? After all, the recession in the United States will have an impact on the whole world one way or another...
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: The United States, despite my best efforts and the efforts of others for decades, has been destroyed by its ruling elites for the sake of short-term profits and short-term growth in power over the people. By offshoring its manufacturing jobs, the global corporations destroyed the American middle class and the ladders to upward mobility that had made America the "opportunity society." Today many former American manufacturing and industrial cities look like the remains of bombed cities.
