Instagram influencers nabbed with 216 pounds of cocaine: feds
[NYPOST] A pair of Instagram influencers were caught with $3 million in cocaine packed into secret compartments of their SUV as they drove through Alabama earlier this month, authorities said.

Racquelle Marie Dolores Anteola, a singer and rapper who goes by the name Rahky on Instagram, where she has 118,000 followers, and fitness entrepreneur Melissa Dufour, who peddles a clothing line called Sexy Sweats to her more than 10,000 fans, face a minimum 10 years behind bars on federal drug trafficking charges after their June 1 arrests.

Anteola and Dufour claimed they met up in Miami and then drove together to Houston for a house party where they got "very drunk," before heading to Atlanta, according to court papers.

They were pulled over on Interstate 110 near Mobile, Ala., for a traffic violation when a K-9 indicated drugs might be in their vehicle, according to court papers.

Cops combed through the Black Ford Expedition allegedly found several hidden compartments concealing 216 pounds of cocaine packed in 84 bundles, authorities said.

Afghanistan
Daily Evacuation Brief June 12, 2023
[AfghanDigest] LAST 24 HOURS
  • PAKISTAN’S PATIENCE IS REPORTEDLY WEARING THIN AFTER LATEST CLASH ALONG THE BORDER WITH TTP – A fight between Pakistani Army troops and suspected members of the TTP took place in the Miran Shah region of North Waziristan on Saturday. In the battle, 3 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 3 militants were said to have lost their lives. 4 additional militants were said to have been wounded. Army troops recovered a modest weapons cache from the site of the fighting. Sources in Pakistan say the weapons recovered from the battle had come from Afghanistan and at least two of the suspected TTP had documents and currency from Afghanistan on their bodies.

  • AFGHANISTAN’S AMBASSADOR TO TAJIKISTAN’S HOME BURNED IN ROKHA DISTRICT, PANJSHIR – The ancestral home of General Zaher Aghbar, the Afghan Ambassador to Tajikistan and a former military officer under the previous regime, was reportedly burned by unknown arsons on Sunday evening. The home was situated in the town of Piyawesht. Prior to the fire, the house was said to be occupied by Taliban security personnel.

  • TAJIKISTAN ARRESTS SEVERAL DOZEN AFGHAN CITIZENS IN THE KHATLON REGION – Government officials confirmed the arrests were made on 8 June and involved former Afghan military personnel who were reportedly armed. The Afghans were reportedly transported to a detention facility in Dushanbe sometime between the 8th and 10th of June. Some speculation in local press outlets says the Afghans were part of various Resistance groups or, had recently broken with said groups, and were making plans to return to Afghanistan.

  • TALIBAN FIRES BACK AT THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL OVER ‘BASELESS’ REPORT – Several of the senior leaders within the Taliban chose to criticize a report compiled by the United Nations Security Council which makes the following claims:

    • The Taliban, in its current form, is overwhelmingly dominated by the Pashtun ethnic group and other ethnic groups lack representation.

    • Dissent exists between the leadership but the Supreme Leader is consolidating his power. The existing dissent was not likely to cause a factional division for the next 1-2 years.

    • The Supreme Leader has weathered international/regional/Islamic pressure to adopt modern policies and those who offer different views for the country are not strong enough to challenge him.

    • Terrorists have greater freedom of maneuver since the Taliban’s return to power and are likely ignoring threats posed to neighbors by these groups.

  • The Taliban’s official spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, categorically rejected each of the claims in a statement. Mujahid resorted to the same denials, deflections, and counter-accusations that now typify the regime’s response to any criticism.

CYCLONE BIPARJOY STRENGTHENS, PAKISTAN’S COASTAL REGIONS BRACE FOR IMPACT – The cyclone picked up significant strength as it moved toward land and is now called ‘an extremely severe cyclonic storm’. The storm is expected to lose some strength before intensifying again and moving toward the Northwest. Emergency managers in Sindh Province have urged residents to stay indoors and have ordered billboards to be taken down in urban areas. The main threats for Pakistan are heavy rains that will cause flooding, storm surges that could cause waves to peak at 30 feet or more, and dangerous winds. At-risk Afghans staying in the affected areas are urged to remain indoors and should cover any glass windows in their residences. If no material is available to cover windows, people should avoid standing, laying, or sitting near them as the winds are expected to be strong enough to blow the glass inwards. Meteorologists expect the system to begin losing strength on Tuesday morning however, the risk of flooding is expected to persist throughout the coming week. Power, cellular, and internet outages will likely occur in some areas and it may take several days to reestablish communications.

Al-Shabaab loses several fighters in southern Somalia
[Garowe] Somalia-based al-Shabaab
...... an Islamic infestation centering on Somalia attempting to metastasize into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and similar places, all ofwhich have enough problems without them...
Lions of Islam have suffered massive setbacks in the latest crackdown spearheaded by the Somali National Army [SNA] with assistance from foreign partners, state media reported, just days after the group targeted two Forward Operating Bases in the country.

In a joint operation within Lower Shabelle, the al-Shabaab had 19 fighters losing their lives with several others believed to have been injured in the offensive carried out on Saturday within Lower Shabelle.
Not exactly a massive setback, but certainly respectable.
Those injured are under the custody of the military, state media noted. According to state-owned media, the joint operation took place today in the Bulo Mohammed Abdalla area, located within the Awdhegle district, following an intelligence report received by the National Intelligence and Security Agency. The government hailed locals for giving tips.

Several vehicles and weapons belonging to the group were destroyed with the army managing to neutralize the Lions of Islam from all fronts. So far, the group which usually reports operations against the army and foreign troops, is yet to confirm losses inflicted on them by the national army.

Fighting resumes in Khartoum as truce ends, Egypt introduces entry visa for all Sudanese
[AFRICANEWS] Shelling and gunfire resumed Sunday (June 11) in the Sudanese capital, at the end of a 24-hour ceasefire that was globally respected according to witnesses.

The latest in a series of ceasefire agreements enabled civilians to stock up on essential supplies or flee.

Nearly two months into the war between Army general Al Burhane and paramilitary commadner Dagalo, over 1,800 people have been killed , according to NGO Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project.

Nearly two million people have been displaced, including 476,000 who have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
says.

In this context, Egypt reversed a visa exemption for children, women and elderly people. All citizens of neighbouring Sudan will nave have to obtain visas before crossing the border.

The Egyptian foreign ministry cited Saturday (June 10) a crackdown on "illegal activities" including fraud. And said the nation welcomed some 200.000 Sudanese nationals.

Egypt’s foreign ministry stressed in its statement that its consulates in Sudan have been provided with "the necessary electronic devices to carry out these regulations, ensuring the orderly entry of Sudanese citizens".

Ex-Human Trafficker Details Migrant Trafficking Empire in Libya
[LIBYAREVIEW] An ex-member of a trafficking gang based in Libya recounted the criminal world of human-trafficking operations in the war-torn country.

Lovin Malta newspaper said it has recently secured a discussion with the ex-human trafficker, who was based in Zuwara, Libya, for a deep dive into this veiled world on the condition of anonymity.

The former smuggler described the trafficking network as operating "like a drug empire" with transportation routes spanning the entirety of the African continent.

"Now they have got so big, it is like a drug empire. They have a transportation network all over the continent, before they used to only take money so they can get you from Libya to Europe, recently they can get you all the way from the Saharan border to the shores," he said, according to Lovin Malta.

Two main trafficking channels exist, each with its own dangers and price tags. The first involves large cargo ships, a service that costs between €500- €2000 euros.

This method, often used by locals from Libya and Tunisia, requires "good connections with the crew" and is considered the safer option of the two. He claimed that the traffickers bribe crew members to hide the migrants colonists until they reach Europe, usually Italia.

The second method, more widely known and used, relies on small and regular boats for a fee ranging from €300- €500 euros. The migrants colonists board dangerous and overcrowded vessels, often alongside others from Africa, the Middle East, and South Asian nations.

"They do not pay the traffickers to get on the boat, any person can buy these cheap dinghy boats and head north, they pay them because they have connections with the corrupt Libyan and Tunisian Coast Guard, so their vessels are purposely ignored until they reach Europe," he added.

"They are trying to target the youth because they are the ones who see on the internet what it is like in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
compared to their torn country." For an additional fee, the traffickers will even connect migrants colonists with individuals who can forge European passports, residence permits, and driving licenses.

But humans aren’t the only commodity being trafficked. He noted that these gangs also deal in cash, drugs, and petrol. Their operations are so lucrative that rivalries have erupted into full-blown gang wars.

"The heads of these gangs are well-known, they know who they are and where they are, yet for some reason, they are not sending anyone to capture them!"

"It is almost like people in power want them there, funny enough I know these kingpins of trafficking have luxury houses and yachts abroad and gets special visas to travel to Europe," he concluded.

Saudi Arabia executes three convicted of slaying officer, founding ‘terrorist cell’
[IsraelTimes] Kingdom accused men of killing officer in Riyadh, then setting fire to vehicle with body inside; authorities have executed 52 people since start of year

Soddy Arabia

on Sunday put to death three of its citizens convicted of having killed a security officer and creating a "terrorist cell," Riyadh’s Interior Ministry said.

Since the start of the year, Saudi authorities have executed 52 people, including 20 for terrorism-related offenses, according to an AFP tally.

In a statement on Sunday, the Saudi Interior Ministry said the three men had killed an officer in the capital Riyadh and burned his body by setting fire to his vehicle.

They were also convicted of financing terrorism and possessing weapons, ammunition, and "material used in the manufacture of explosives," the ministry said.

Authorities carried out the death sentence
...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead...
s on Sunday in Riyadh, the ministry added.

The statement did not specify the method used, but the kingdom has often carried out executions by beheading.

Most executions for "terrorism" this year have taken place in the Sunni Moslem kingdom’s eastern region where the Shiite minority is concentrated.

Last month, Saudi Arabia executed two Bahrainis, also for terrorist-related offenses.

Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s most prolific executioners.

Last year, it put to death 147 people, 81 of them on a single day for terrorism-linked crimes. The mass execution sparked an international outcry.

More than 1,000 death sentences have been carried out since King Salman
...either the largest species of Pacific salmon or the current Sheikh of the Burnin' Sands, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Lord of Most of the Arabians...
assumed power in 2015, according to a report published earlier this year by British-based Reprieve and the European Saudi Organisation for Human Rights.

On May 25, Saudi Arabia sent huge military reinforcements to the city containing one hundred military vehicles. They sent similar reinforcements at the beginning of the same month.

Anti-cop ice cream chain sues Seattle over 'significant losses' from BLM autonomous zone they promoted
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream, which previously gave the cold shoulder to coppers, is suing the City of Seattle for losses it alleges resulted from the decision by officials in the summer of 2020 to abandon the Police Department’s East Precinct in response to the Saint George Floyd

riots which led to the creation of a "government-authorized invasion," the deadly anti-police Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), later renamed the Capitol Hill Occupied protest (CHOP).

According to the federal lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington on Wednesday, the chain claimed that its constitutional rights were "overrun" when officials decided to "abandon" the 6-square block area of Capitol Hill to BLM and Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
rioters. Molly Moon’s is accusing the city of supporting and encouraging "a hostile occupation of that neighborhood."

"This lawsuit does not seek to undermine CHOP participants’ message or present a counter message," the lawsuit stated. "Rather, this lawsuit is about the plaintiff’s constitutional and other legal rights, of which were overrun by the City of Seattle’s decision to abandon and close off an entire city neighborhood, leaving it unchecked by the police, unserved by fire and emergency health services, and inaccessible to the public on the lam, and then materially support and encourage a hostile occupation of that neighborhood. The City’s decision subjected businesses, employees, and residents of that neighborhood to extensive property damage, public safety dangers, and an inability to use and access their properties."

India-Pakistan
War on Drugs: Admin cracks whip on poppy cultivators
[GeaterKashmir] J&K Police is also taking the lead in the battle against the drug epidemic and is also at the forefront of efforts to eradicate the covert poppy growing that takes place throughout Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
A senior Police official said that illicit farming of poppy was mostly practiced in the south Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian, and Kulgam.

"After 1989, hundreds of farmers in the southern areas began cultivating marijuana and poppy. Now with the improving law and order situation, the attention of the security grid has shifted towards narco-terrorism," he said.

The law enforcement agencies continue to combat the problem of illegal marijuana and opium growing at a local level. "Under the NDPS Act, we are arresting people found indulging in drug trafficking as well as cultivation of poppy," a Police official said.

NDPS Act prohibits people from production, manufacturing, cultivation, possession, sale, purchasing, transport, storage, and consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.

According to a senior Police officer, "Drug traffickers will be dealt with harshly, and no one will be spared. According to the NDPS Act, we will begin attaching the property of narcos."

According to the National Survey on Extent and Pattern of Substance Use in India conducted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment through the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, there are approximately 10 lakh drug addicts in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Union Ministry informed the Parliament, citing the survey, that an estimated 108,000 men and 36,000 women had been found using marijuana in J&K, while 534,00 men and 8000 women had been caught up in the dragnet of opioids, and 1,60,000 men and 8000 women had been discovered using sedatives of various kinds.

The Ministry further informed the Parliament that in J&K, 127,000 men and 7,000 women had been seen using inhalants and that a significant number of men and women were addicted to cocaine, amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS), and hallucinogens.

On April 19, during the inaugural event of the first National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that India would be drug-free by 2047.
A noble, if completely unrealistic, goal.

#1  The 2022 opium crop in Afghanistan is the most profitable in years with cultivation up by nearly one-third and prices soaring, even as the country is gripped by cascading humanitarian and economic crises, according to a new research brief from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
Opium cultivation in Afghanistan – latest findings and emerging threats is the first report on the illicit opium economy since the Taliban, which assumed power in August 2021, banned cultivation of opium poppy and all narcotics in April 2022. This year’s harvest was largely exempted from the decree, and farmers in Afghanistan must now decide on planting opium poppy for next year amid continued uncertainty about how the de facto authorities will enforce the ban. Sowing of the main 2023 opium crop must be done by early November 2022.
“Afghan farmers are trapped in the illicit opiate economy, while seizure events around Afghanistan suggest that opiate trafficking continues unabated,” said UNODC Executive Director Ghada Waly upon the survey’s launch.

Turkish soldiers killed in explosion in KRI
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that two soldiers were killed as a result of a landmine explosion in the Kurdistan Region.

In a statement, the ministry said, "Two Ottoman Turkish soldiers were killed in the Kurdistan Region due to the earth-shattering kaboom of a landmine planted in the Claw-Lock operation area by members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)."

The ministry further added that the soldiers were swiftly transported to the hospital, but unfortunately, they gave up the ghost.

The Ottoman Turkish military launched Operation Claw-Lock in the northernmost part of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq in April of the previous year, with the aim of eliminating PKK fighters in the area.

ISIS attack in northern Iraq kills two army officers and wounds others
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

On Sunday, the Iraqi army announced the killing and wounding of a number of its soldiers, including two officers, in an attack launched by members of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in the northern Governorate of Kirkuk.

The Security Media Cell said in a statement that, late on Saturday evening, ISIS bandidos snuffies launched an attack with light and medium weapons on a post belonging to the 32nd Brigade of the 8th Division of the Iraqi army, near the village of Tel al-Ward in the Dibis district of Kirkuk Governorate.

The attack claimed the lives of two officers, one was a lieutenant colonel and the other was the first lieutenant, and wounding three soldiers.

The attack comes as the Iraqi forces regularly target suspected hideouts belonging to ISIS in the country’s remote areas, as the Iraqi army was launching strikes and qualitative operations that left heavy losses on ISIS krazed killers, the security statement added.

Following the incident, deputy commander of joint operations, Qais al-Muhammadawi, arrived in Kirkuk to check the incident and inspect the maimed.

A joint investigation committee also arrived to find out the circumstances of the attack, and to find out its causes," according to the security statement.

5 Bedouin Israelis charged with throwing rocks at Jewish drivers in south
Boys will be boys.
[IsraelTimes] Suspects accused of attacking cars on Route 25 out of ’racist and nationalistic motive,’ wounding 2 including pregnant woman

Five Bedouin youths were recently arrested and indicted for hurling stones at vehicles in southern Israel, injuring two, law enforcement authorities said on Sunday.

In a joint statement, Israel Police and the Shin Bet security agency said the five youths, of the Abu Madi clan near the southern city of Beersheba, threw stones at vehicles on Route 25 on a number of occasions in recent months.

Officials said the men carried out the highway attacks "with a racist and nationalistic motive... with the aim of harming Jews."

According to the police and Shin Bet investigation, the five would monitor cars driving toward Beersheba near the Abu Talul junction, and attack those they identified as being driven by Jewish Israelis.

As a result of their attacks, two people were maimed, including a pregnant woman, and a number of cars were damaged, police and Shin Bet said.

The five, arrested in May, were charged with intentionally causing damage under aggravated and racially motivated circumstances, as well as obstruction of justice. Three of the suspects were additionally hit with terror charges and racially motivated aggravated assault.

The suspects were not immediately named.

The arrests come after two Bedouin minors were detained and charged in March for hurling stones at cars on the Route 31 highway, also in southern Israel.

Negev Bedouin have a contentious relationship with the state. For decades, the government has sought to move them into recognized, planned cities, but many still live in a constellation of illegal hamlets that sprawl across Israel’s southern desert, many of them lacking in basic services.

At least 19 Zionist soldiers injured in Negev desert bus accident
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] At least 19 Israeli soldiers were maimed when a bus they were traveling in overturned in the Negev desert on Sunday, according to Russia Today’s correspondent in occupied Quds.

Israeli soldiers from the mixed "Bardelas" battalion had refused to work a 12-hour shift on the Egyptian border in recent days, as is customary in the Strip, due to the attack carried out by Egyptian soldier Mohammed Salah, which killed three of their colleagues.

The fighters explained to the commanders in the battalion that they were unable to perform such long shifts, and that they had decided to refuse to serve with the support of their parents, according to the Hebrew "Wala" website.

The soldiers criticized the battalion leadership for requiring them to take long shifts despite the weather conditions, and claimed that they feel useless when they are in the field for a long time.

Front) handed over, at midnight on Saturday, a leader of Saudi nationality in the ranks of al-Qaeda to Ottoman Turkish intelligence at Bab al-Hawa border crossing, north of Idlib, after spending four years detained in HTS’ prisons.

A security source told North Press that the Saudi leader, Nayef al-Shammari, nicknamed Abu al-Awf al-Jazrawi, was handed over under the supervision of Abu Maria al-Qahtani, the leader of the of HTS’ General Security Apparatus, as part of the continued handover of imported muscle to Ottoman Turkish intelligence.

Al-Shammari was considered one of HTS’ most prominent "Sharia scholars" in the Qalamoun region in Damascus during its rule there (al-Qaeda at the time), to move to Idlib in 2017 through smuggling routes, with the head of al-Nusra Front in Qalamoun, Abu Malik al-Tali and a number of leaders and fighters.

On June 1, HTS transferred four foreign detainees, one of whom is of French nationality, from Prison 107 in Idlib city to the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

in northern Idlib, in preparation for handing them over to Ottoman Turkish intelligence.

This operation is the sixth of its kind in 2023. HTS’ prisons contain dozens of foreign bully boyz whom Ankara wishes to receive, without knowing the purpose behind it.

HTS, rebranded in 2017, controls the city of Idlib and western Aleppo Governorate, under the guise of the Salvation Government.
