According to multiple sources, the murderous Moslems targeted three checkpoints and a security office in the town. After the raid, reports indicate, the murderous Moslems started retreating from the town to strategic areas perhaps awaiting a response from the national army.
Photos taken from the scene of the Saturday morning attack show a badly destroyed NISA building where al-Shabaab had detonated their explosives leading to the damage. al-Shabaab claims their fighters entered the station and "most" of the town’s neighbourhoods.
Local sources now say the murderous Moslems are retreating, but the number of casualties remains unknown. The murderous Moslems have been on rampant onslaught as most Moslems in the country observe the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The murderous Moslems briefly entered the town before security forces repulsed them, police said at that time. The al-Shabaab have lost strategic towns in the country following the crackdown which will be spread to Jubaland and Southwest states in the coming months.
The attack resulted in casualties, with at least four government soldiers confirmed dead by residents. The Al-Shabaab fighters reportedly engaged in a face-to-face attack and utilized a suicide car bomb during their assault on the army bases.
Witnesses and local sources reported that the militants withdrew from the town following the attack. Qasim Furdug, the commissioner of Bal’ad said 11 militants were killed.

[Regnum] The Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) has attacked US, British and Israeli ships over the past 72 hours, Yahya Sariya, a spokesman for the organization, reported on April 7 on Al Masirah TV.
"The Navy attacked the British ship Hope Island with anti-ship missiles in the Red Sea, which was a direct hit," he said.
Saria added that the Houthis also attacked the Israeli ships Grace F in the Indian Ocean and Gina in the Arabian Sea, heading to ports in "occupied Palestine." In addition, the rebels attacked two American frigates in the Red Sea.
"Yemen's armed forces will continue to obstruct Israel's navigation in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean until its aggression ceases and the blockade of the Gaza Strip is lifted," the statement said.
As Regnum reported, on April 7, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Authority reported another attack on a UKMTO vessel in the Gulf of Aden in the Arabian Sea. The kingdom's authorities regarded the incident as an attack and began investigating it.

The Iranian proxy said it had targeted a British ship and a number of US frigates in the Red Sea, while in the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, it attacked two Israeli vessels heading to Israeli ports.
The latest attacks come after a lull of several days in Houthi aggressions, which have disrupted traffic along the vital Red Sea global trade route.
The operations took place during the last 72 hours, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised statement.
According to Saree, the attacks included a missile strike against a "British ship (Hope Island) in the Red Sea." Vessel tracking websites listed the Hope Island as traveling under a Marshall Islands flag and said it was in the Red Sea as of Friday.
Missiles also targeted what Saree described as two Israeli ships, MSC Grace F and MSC Gina. Two tracking sites listed a vessel named MSC Grace F which they said sails under the Panamanian flag. Marinetraffic.com also listed MSC Gina as Panamanian-flagged and said it was last reported in the Gulf.
Earlier, British security firm Ambrey said it had received information indicating that a vessel was attacked on Sunday in the Gulf of Aden about 102 nautical miles southwest of Mukalla in Yemen.
"Vessels in the vicinity were advised to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity," the firm said. It did not say who was responsible for the attack or give further details.
Separately, a missile landed near a vessel in the Gulf of Aden on Sunday, but there was no damage to the ship or injuries to crew in the incident, 59 nautical miles southwest of the Yemeni port of Aden, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency said.
"The Master of the vessel reports a missile impacted the water in close proximity to the vessel’s port quarter," UKMTO said in an advisory note. "No damage to the vessel reported and crew reported safe," it added.
It did not say who fired the missile or give further details. It was not immediately clear if the attacks reported by the British agencies were the same as the latest incidents claimed by the Houthis.
Sunday’s attacks came hours after two missiles targeted a ship southwest of the Yemeni Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, according to both UKMTO and Ambrey.
One missile was intercepted by US-led coalition forces and the second missed the ship, according to UKMTO.
Also Sunday, US forces destroyed a mobile surface-to air missile system in a Houthi-controlled territory of Yemen, the US Central Command said.
US forces also shot down one unmanned aerial vehicle over the Red Sea, its statement said, adding that a coalition vessel also detected, engaged and destroyed one inbound anti-ship missile. No injuries or damage were reported.
The weekend attacks came as Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with senior Houthi official Mohammed Abdelsalam in Oman on Sunday.
Amir-Abdollahian praised the "brave support of the Yemeni nation for the oppressed Paleostinian nation," according to Iran’s foreign ministry.
The United States, which leads a multinational flotilla intended to protect Red Sea shipping, has since mid-January launched repeated attacks on Houthi targets in Yemen. British warplanes have also taken part in several of the strikes.
In a televised speech on Thursday, Houthi chief Abdul Malik al-Houthi said 37 people had been killed in more than 400 strikes by US and British forces on Yemen since January.

International al-Quds Day, an annual pro-Paleostinian event that is held on the last Friday of Ramadan, enjoys significant support in Dearborn, which has the highest proportion of Moslem residents in the country.
Celebrations of the day have been controversial throughout the world, even drawing a ban by German authorities in Berlin on multiple occasions.
Rallies to mark the day have been taking place in Dearborn for at least 20 years, according to MEMRI Executive Director Steven Stalinsky, who told Fox News Digital that the town has become a "hotbed of hate for many years."

"This type of extremism, this type of rhetoric, this type of division ... threats of violence was a Middle East thing, it seems like a lot of that was limited to the Middle East, and now it’s come to our doorstep," Green said.
Green said the majority of Dearborn’s citizens are peaceful and don’t promote violence, but he acknowledged the movements bubbling up from the town are worth monitoring closely for politicians.
Dearborn also became the center of a protest movement against Biden last month, with activists from the town encouraging Democrats to vote "uncommitted" instead of supporting the president’s re-election bid.
Bazzi’s speech was followed by remarks from Michigan Iman Osama Abdulghani, who called Israel an "evil settler colonialist project" and a "cancer" while applauding those who are willing to publicly criticize the country.
"Israel is ISIS, they are Nazis, they are fascist ...anybody you disagree with, damn them... s, they are racists," Abdulghani said. "The people of the world now know this."

According to Stalinsky, that type of rhetoric has become a common theme in Dearborn.
"I am not saying that everyone in Dearborn is a terrorist, but there is a large amount of support for jihadi groups there," Stalinsky said.

[GEO.TV] A police report over the deadly suicide kaboom in Shangla's Bisham city has revealed that the vehicle carrying Chinese nationals was neither bullet nor bomb-proof.
The report, which has been sent to the federal government, reveals that the bus targeted in the attack was travelling at a distance of 15 feet from the other bus and fell into a 300-feet-deep ditch after a jacket wallah crashed his explosives-laden vehicle into the vehicle carrying the victims on the Karakoram Highway.
The report, second of its nature, further mentions that the buses part of the convoy carrying Chinese nationals was equipped with close circuit television cameras (CCTV).
The development comes a day after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as per Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, ordered disciplinary action against senior coppers for "negligence" in light of an inquiry report over the March 26 incident which killed five Chinese citizens, including a woman, and a Pak driver.
"The PM has directed to take action against the regional police officer (RPO) Hazara ...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets... Earlier this week, Geo News, citing sources, reported the "arrest" of more than 10 terrorists, controllers involved in the deadly attack by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
The CTD sources added that the terrorist commander, responsible for bringing the suicide bomber to Pakistain from Afghanistan, has also been arrested as well as four other controllers.
The arrests came as the country's civil and military leadership reacted strongly to the attack vowing that the perpetrators responsible for the heinous attack would be brought to justice.
PM Shehbaz has directed authorities concerned to provide Chinese nationals with foolproof security in Pakistain via a comprehensive action plan for regular audit of security standard operating procedures.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday said: "On the night of 6/7 April 24, fire exchange took place between the security forces and Lions of Islam in North Waziristan District."
The military’s media wing stated that the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which two Lions of Islam were shot full of holes.
Weapons and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorists, the ISPR added.
"Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces of Pakistain are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country," it added.
A day earlier, the security forces shot full of holes 10 Lions of Islam in separate operations in Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Strip early Sunday morning, leaving just one brigade to secure a corridor splitting the Paleostinian enclave. Troops of the 98th Division were pulled out of the Khan Younis area after four straight months of fighting, the IDF said.
Only one brigade, Nahal, remains in the Gaza Strip. The Nahal Brigade has been tasked with securing the so-called Netzarim Corridor, which crosses Gaza from the Be’eri area in southern Israel to the Strip’s coast. The corridor enables the IDF to carry out raids in northern and central Gaza, prevents Paleostinians from returning to the northern part of the Strip, and allows humanitarian organizations to deliver aid directly to northern Gaza.
Hours after the withdrawal, five rockets were fired from the Khan Younis area at communities near the Gaza border. According to the IDF, some of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
Sunday’s withdrawal appeared to be a move similar to that carried out in the northern Gaza Strip following the IDF’s initial ground offensive last year. After several months of a large-scale offensive with several divisions, the IDF left northern Gaza, only to return to carry out smaller, localized, operations. The IDF believes that raids based on new intelligence, such as the recent operation at Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital and others in the northern part of the Strip, are a more effective way to operate against Hamas.
The offensive in Khan Younis achieved its goal, according to the IDF, with the local Hamas brigade dismantled, thousands of button men killed, and around 30 kilometers of tunnels destroyed.
The 98th Division also needed time for R&R after its lengthy fighting.
Israeli officials have said that 18 of Hamas’s 24 original battalions in the Gaza Strip have been dismantled, meaning they do not function as an organized military unit, although smaller cells still exist.
NO IMPLICATIONS FOR RAFAH
Four Hamas battalions remain in southern Gaza’s Rafah, and another two in the central part of the Strip. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he has approved the military’s plans for an operation in Rafah, although he has not given the green light to carry them out.
The planned Rafah offensive has caused intense consternation in the international community, including from the US and Egypt, due to the southern Gaza city now hosting over a million displaced Paleostinians from elsewhere in in the Strip. Israel has said it is making plans to evacuate and protect civilians from Rafah as part of its offensive plans.
An Israeli assault in Rafah would not be affected by the drawdown announced Sunday, as such an operation would entail a significant call-up of fresh reserve forces.
The war began on October 7 with Hamas’s unprecedented attack on Israel in which Death Eaters rampaged through the south, murdering some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping 253.
Talks for a hostage deal and truce have made no headway since a weeklong ceasefire in November, the only one since the start of the war, which saw the exchange of dozens of hostages held by Hamas in exchange for Paleostinian security prisoners detained by Israel. The Hamas side of the talks is indirect, with proposals relayed through third parties to terror leaders hiding in tunnels beneath Gaza.
It is believed that 129 hostages kidnapped by Hamas and other terror groups on October 7 remain in Gaza — not all of them alive — after 105 civilians were released from Hamas captivity during a weeklong truce in late November, and four hostages were released prior to that.
Three hostages have been rescued by troops alive, and the bodies of 12 hostages have also been recovered, including three mistakenly killed by the military. The IDF has confirmed the deaths of 34 of those still held by Hamas, citing new intelligence and findings obtained by troops operating in Gaza. One more person is listed as missing since October 7, and their fate is still unknown.
Hamas is also holding the bodies of fallen IDF soldiers Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin since 2014, as well as two Israeli civilians, Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, who are both thought to be alive after entering the Strip of their own accord in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Amid the IDF’s ground offensive, launched in late October, 260 soldiers were killed and 1,552 were maimed.
The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says more than 33,000 people in the Strip have been killed in the fighting so far, a figure that cannot be independently verified and includes some 13,000 Hamas Death Eaters Israel says it has killed in battle. Israel also says it killed some 1,000 button men inside Israel on October 7.

Two Israelis were maimed, one of them a female soldier who was seriously hurt, in a terror shooting attack on a West Bank highway Sunday morning, the military and medics said.
In the attack on Route 55, between the Paleostinian towns of Azzun and Nabi Ilyas, a bus and another car came under fire by a Paleostinian gunman.
A 19-year-old woman on the bus was seriously maimed, medical officials said. A man in his 50s was also hurt by gunfire while driving in the same area.
The young woman was taken by the Magen David Adom ambulance service to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where she was listed in a life-threatening condition, the medical center said.
She was later identified as an Israel Defense Forces soldier.
The man, said by MDA to be in good-to-moderate condition, was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
The IDF said troops had been dispatched to the scene of the shooting to search for the terrorist.
Police said the highway has been closed in both directions in the area of the attack.
Since October 7, the IDF has said, troops arrested some 3,600 wanted Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 1,600 affiliated with Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,.

[Rudaw] At least seven children were killed after an bomb detonated in southern Syria. Separately, explosions were heard in the capital Damascus.
Seven children were killed and two others were severely injured in a kaboom in al-Sanamayn city, in Daraa province, according to Syrian state media (SANA).
The UK-based war monitor Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that eight children had been killed.
A woman was also severely injured in the blast and was transferred to a hospital in Damascus, according to SANA, which accused "terrorist groups" of planting the bomb.
At least 103 people, including 32 civilians, have been killed in 83 separate incidents in Daraa since the start of last year, according to SOHR.
Explosions were also heard Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of Damascus and security forces are investigating, state media reported.
Syrian forces fired machine guns at "suspicious" objects flying over the southwestern countryside of Damascus and this was followed by the sound of explosions as a result of engineering units of the Syrian army detonating war remnants and bombs, according to SOHR.

[ColonelCassad] Fell victim to a showdown between terrorists in Idlib. He was seasoned and had been active in terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq since 2003.
A well-known extremist in the region and one of the leaders of the largest coalition of militants was killed in Syria.
Abu Marya al-Qahtani (or al-Qahtani) was killed by Islamic State militants in the town of Sarmada in Idlib province in northwestern Syria. The suicide bomber blew himself up, killing him and wounding two of his aides.
Al-Qahtani was 47 years old. Real name - Maysar al-Juburi, originally from Iraq from the vicinity of Mosul.
He is a veteran of all sorts of "militant" and security organizations, and his career path in jihadist circles is quite classic for many "colleagues" from his generation: he studied at the university, ended up in a pro-Saddam paramilitary group, joined the police, and after the US invasion in 2003 joined al-Qaeda.
He is best known for co-founding al-Qaeda's affiliate in Syria in 2011, a group called Jabhat al-Nusra, which quickly became the largest and deadliest of the Syrian war. Then Al-Nusra grew to the size of an entire coalition of groups, formally broke ties with Al-Qaeda in order to build its own project, and is now called Tahrir al-Shyam.
Today, part of the territory of northern and northwestern Syria in the provinces of Idlib, Latakia and Aleppo remains under the control of militants. Abu Marya al-Qatani held the position of deputy supreme leader of the coalition and head of the religious council there.
The murder of Al-Qatani immediately caused a lot of controversy between the militants. Not everyone believed the version about the IS terrorists, with whom the Tahrir al-Sham terrorists have been competing for many years. Some militants believe that Al-Qatani was removed as a result of an internal struggle for power in the coalition. He spent six months in prison on charges of treason and collaboration with Western intelligence services, and then he was simply released without explanation.
Regardless, Abu Marya al-Qahtani was a powerful militant leader, a veteran of the 2011 Syrian war, and one of the veterans of the Middle East's jihadist movement, with its roots in post-Saddam Iraq.

Qahtani, whose real name is Maysar Ali Musa Abdallah al-Juburi, was brought to hospital with severe injuries and died there, Rooters reported, citing jihadist sources.
Qahtani, 47, was born in djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... . He fought against United States forces after their invasion of Iraq in 2003. In 2011, he moved to Syria and was a co-founder of the Nusra Front, an offshoot of al-Qaeda. The group rebranded itself as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... (HTS) when it split from al-Qaeda and currently controls rebel-held northwestern Syria.
He has been under US sanctions since 2012.

Last year, Qahtani was detained by HTS on the charge of communicating with "hostile parties," according to SOHR. He was released last month.
[Rudaw] International and national forces in Iraq and Syria conducted 94 operations against the Islamic State (ISIS) in the first three months of the year, the United States military said on Saturday.
US forces, international allies with in the anti-ISIS coalition, Iraqi security forces, and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) "conducted 94 Defeat ISIS Missions resulting in 18 ISIS operatives killed and 63 detained from January through March," the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on X.
The bulk of the operations were carried out in Iraq.
Around 2,500 ISIS fighters remain at large across Iraq and Syria, according to CENTCOM, calling the pursuit of them "a critical component to the enduring defeat of ISIS."
The force also stressed ongoing efforts by the international community to repatriate thousands of ISIS fighters and their families from detention camps in Syria.
"We are committed to the enduring defeat of ISIS because of the threat they pose both regionally and globally. We continue to focus our efforts on specifically targeting those members of ISIS who are seeking to conduct external operations outside of Iraq and Syria and those ISIS members attempting to break out ISIS members in detention in an attempt to reconstitute their forces," said CENTCOM commander General Michael "Erik" Kurilla.
Baghdad has downgraded the threat that ISIS poses, saying that the group has been confined. The Iraqi government, under pressure from Iran-backed armed groups to expel US forces from the country, has begun talks with Washington to wind down the coalition mission.
The US-led coalition advises and provides aerial assistance to Kurdish Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi army, as well as the SDF in the fight against ISIS.
ISIS seized control of vast swathes of Iraqi and Syrian land in 2014 and was declared territorially defeated in 2019. While the group no longer controls any territory, it continues to pose a serious security risk through bombings, hit-and-run attacks, and abductions in both countries.
