[Wash Times] Pro-life activists released a new undercover video Wednesday showing a former Planned Parenthood official suggesting babies born alive after abortions are sometimes left to die. In all of recorded history, I wonder if there is a record of a 911 call from a Planned Parenthood facility.
The video was released less than a day after David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress were charged by California prosecutors with 15 felonies for covertly recording Planned Parenthood executives without their consent.
In the video, former Planned Parenthood Arizona medical director DeShawn Taylor says abortion clinics are supposed to transport babies born alive after abortions to the hospital.
"In Arizona, if the fetus comes out with any signs of life, we’re supposed to transport it. To the hospital," she says. The pro-life activists posing as fetal tissue buyers ask Ms. Taylor if there is "any standard procedure for verifying signs of life."
[Mercury News] FREMONT ‐ Two Bay Area tech executives are accused of filing false visa documents through a staffing agency in a scheme to illegally bring a pool of foreign tech workers into the United States.
An indictment from a federal grand jury unsealed on Friday accuses Jayavel Murugan, Dynasoft Synergy’s chief executive officer, and a 40-year-old Santa Clara man, Syed Nawaz, of fraudulently submitting H-1B applications in an effort to illegally obtain visas, according to Brian Stretch, U.S. attorney for the Northern District of California.
The men are charged with 26 counts of visa fraud, conspiracy to commit visa fraud, use of false documents, mail fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to prosecutors. Each charge can carry penalties of between two and 20 years in prison.
Murugan, 46, is co-owner of Dynasoft, an employment firm based in Fremont with an office in India, according to the indictment. Nawaz is believed to have worked for several Bay Area tech companies, including Cisco, Brocade Communications and Equinix.
Prosecutors say the men used fraudulent documents to bring workers into the U.S. and create a pool of H-1B workers to hire out to tech companies. The indictment charges that from 2010 to 2016, Dynasoft petitioned to place workers at Stanford University, Cisco and Brocade, but the employers had no intention of receiving the foreign workers named on the applications.
[YAHOO] Pablo Gomez Jr. was a University of California, Berkeley, senior majoring in Latino studies and a prominent campus activist when authorities say he stabbed to death a popular elementary-school teacher. I think that means he's majoring in campus activism...
Soon, the crime that police described as "very brutal and unusual" in a city that reported just two homicides last year was sucked up into the debate over gender identity when it was reported that Gomez preferred to be called "they" rather than "he." I can understand that, by golly. I get all sorts of worked up when I'm not referred to as "snilt."
Yes, but you are a good citizen. He is an evil murderer who is about to spend the rest of his life -- or a good portion of it -- among the kinds of people who won't give a plugged nickel about his preferences. It's a kindness to help him get used to the feeling.
Even in famously liberal Berkeley, with its long history of protest, the uproar came as a surprise, overwhelming the online news site, www.berkeleyside.com, that first reported on Gomez's preference.

Once he/she/they gets to the slam it will probably be "bitch"
[WASHINGTONPOST] From a Florida prison in November 2011, Shatarka Nuby penned a letter to the state’s health department about her cosmetically enhanced buttocks. Dear Sir:
This is to inform you that my butt has been busted...
Her rear end had hardened and turned black, she wrote. "It's like sittin' on a pair o' concrete blocks!"
Side effects from the years-old injections left the mother of three feeling sick. And she claimed her surgeon — Oneal Ron Morris — was the same faux cosmetic doctor that police had arrested and accused of pumping a near-lethal formula of cement, mineral oil, bathroom caulking and Fix-a-Flat tire sealant into other women’s bodies. "Matter o' fact, that's what it is: Sittin' on concrete blocks, with a side helping of Fix-a-Flat."
Her patients called her “Duchess.” "Doctor Duchess! Can you sign for your concrete delivery?"
Officials began investigating and interviewed Nuby. "Le Gume! My cape!"
But four months later, she was dead. The official cause of death was respiratory failure from “massive systemic silicone migration” from injections to Nuby’s buttocks and hips, according to the medical examiner. "Sam! Come look at this!"
"Ugh! What is it, Doctor Quincy?"
"Concrete."
"In her lung?"
"And what a shapely lung it is, to be sure."
Morris was charged with manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license in the summer of 2012, and last month pleaded no contest to both, reported the Sun Sentinel. "She's dead. I ain't got no license. What should I do, Mr. Matlock?"
"Throw yoreself on the mercy of the court, Duchess. Tell the judge yer an orphan!"
On Monday, a judge sentenced Morris to 10 years in prison and five years probation for her crimes. "Only ten years? That seems pretty light, judge! Her clients are dead or deformed!"
"Well, she's an orphan!"
For years in Florida, Morris’s name — and posterior — have been widely reported and eventually made national headlines when photos of the woman surfaced. She reportedly used the same cut-rate cosmetic methods that sickened or killed others to inject her own hips and buttocks, leaving them abnormally large and misshapen. "Tell me that ain't yer butt! You got a banjo in yer pocket right?"
Local media labeled Morris’s ongoing saga the “toxic tush” case. ... or the Asphalt Ass...
During sentencing Monday, Morris repeatedly denied allegations that she intentionally hurt anyone and insisted that she had “never ever, nor would dare ever” to inject “any human with any type of unknown substance.” "No, no! Certainly not! We all know what concrete is!"

My Professional Opinion™: there are admixtures for concrete that extend workability and reduce water. Mineral oil, caulking, and Fix-A-Flat are not them. She should have had her mix design done by a professional engineer and then refrained from injecting it INTO her freaking booty

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Luis Arroyo, 40, bit off the head of his girlfriend's Chihuahua, and then punched her in the face. Oh, but haven't we all occasionally had the urge?
Authorities said Tuesday that a judge also ordered Arroyo to pay a $3,000 fine in the case that included domestic abuse and mistreatment of an animal.
Arroyo had pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend, who owned the dog.
The incident occurred in February around 3:30 in the morning on a weekend in the western mountain town of Lares.
The municipality is located about an hour-and-a-half from San Juan.
According to Primera Hora, the two had been living together for about six months, and he had no history of domestic abuse.
Arroyo, who is unemployed, was unable to originally post his bail which was set at $400,000.
He is now being held at Las Cucharas Correctional Complex.

[HOTAIR] Traditionally, crosswalk lights in most places show a male figure waiting patiently in red for cars to stop, then walking in green when it’s safe. It’s been that way because it’s been that way in societies dominated by you-know-who.But a civic group called the Committee for Melbourne decided to help make its world a little better through images. It has convinced the city to change crosswalk lights to show a female figure walking to erase the possibility of gender bias and attune future generations to picture females crossing the street or doing anything the same as males.

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] A New York architecture firm has unveiled designs for a skyscraper that is out of this world. Deemed the ‘world’s tallest building ever’, Analemma Tower will be suspended from an orbiting asteroid 31,068 miles (50,000 km) above the Earth– and the only way to leave is by parachute. "Hi, honey! I'm gonna be in town with the Gleasons at about 5:30."
"Okay. What time should I start dinner? How are you coming home?"
"Oh. I hadn't thought of that..."
The orbital path would swing the tower in a figure eight pattern between the northern and southern hemispheres each day, taking residents on a tour through different parts of the world - all in just a 24 hour orbital cycle. Wow. That'll be nifty. I'm not sure about the idea of commuting by space shuttle. I'm kinda queasy with the idea of parachuting to the office from 31,000 miles, too.
The radical design was created by Clouds Architecture Office, which is also the mastermind behind proposals for a Mars house and a cloud city. Is there in fact an asteroid in orbit at 50,000 kilometers? Didn't Bruce Willis blow that up or something?
The firm's latest design, Analemma Tower, will 'overturn the established skyscraper typology', as it builds from the sky down, instead of the ground up. You've got to get "up" before you can build "down." If you go far enough "up" there is no "down." But if there is no "asteroid" then I guess that doesn't matter. If that's a good altitude for things to orbit, why bother with the asteroid? Is that where they're gonna put the septic system?
'Through the course of history humanity has been able to affect the environment on increasing scales,' explained the firm. Through the course of history we've have pretty good grasp of "up," "down," and "asteroid," too. I'll admit "silly" has often been variations on multiple themes, few of them involving natural laws.
Analemma Tower will be suspended from an orbiting asteroid and hang down to the Earth. It's gonna be high enough to "orbit" but it'll hang "down." The illustration shows cables, presumably thick ones.
It will travel in a figure eight pattern through the northern and southern hemispheres and pass over major cities such as Panama City, Havana, Atlanta and New York City. "Lovely view from your balcony, Mrs. Schellhammer!"
"Yes! We call those places 'orbit over country!'"
The proposal calls for Analemma to first be constructed over Dubai, which has proven to be a specialist in tall building construction at one fifth the cost of New York City construction. They're using Pak labor?
The massive skyscraper will be setup in sections and each with a designated purpose. Where are they gonna be "setup?" Dubai? How're they gonna get 50,000 km up? By pulley?
Business will be conducted at the lower end of the towers and sleeping quarters will be positioned two-thirds of the way up the building. Kinda like a train, only dangling.
Residents will also have access to a gardening area, a place for worship and in the bottom level will be sections for dining, shopping and entertainment. Well, sure. They'll need a dining car. Probably a caboose, too.
The architects plan to take full advantage of the skyscraper's location and will place solar panels at the upper most levels to generate power from the sun. Dangling from 31,000 miles they'll have lots of it available, as long as the asteroid doesn't get in the way.
And residents will enjoy fresh water from condensation of clouds and rainwater, which will be collected and purified. How many clouds and how much rainwater are there at 31,000 miles? Isn't the air a little thin at that altitude? Of course, the cables could be really, really long. The pictures show the "skyscraper" top banging into Mount Everest, or maybe Hawaii, with a communications satellite located below the asteroid (probably not to scale). I don't know why they'd bother with solar power when perpetual motion could be had at a fraction of the cost using just about the same engineering principles.

[AZCENTRAL] A Phoenix police cycle of violence was struck by a Tesla Model X reportedly operating on autopilot last week, police said.
The incident happened a few days before an accident involving an automated Uber vehicle in Tempe.
Phoenix police on Monday confirmed that the incident occurred when a Tesla driver and an on-duty officer exited the Black Canyon Freeway onto Utopia Road on the afternoon of March 21.
The officer, who was in front of the Tesla driver, stopped for a stoplight, police said. After also stopping briefly, the Tesla began moving forward, prompting the officer to jump off his cycle of violence and move away. The car struck the fallen motorcycle, but no damage was reported to either vehicle.
The officer later estimated the car was moving at about three miles per hour, police said.
The Tesla driver told police that he had the car in autopilot mode at the time of the incident, but Phoenix police front man Sgt. Alan Pfohl said Sherlocks were unable to corroborate that statement.

A policeman was killed and three of his colleagues injured, one of them seriously, during a Tripoli bank robbery early this morning. The police were were gunned down outside the Suq Al-Thalatha branch of the National Commercial Bank in Tripoli’s Fallah district. It is reported that the attackers also kidnapped a bank manager and three of the bank guards.
The National Commercial Bank has not said how much money was stolen in the heist and has not commented on the kidnappings.
The same gang is later believed to have shot up a police vehicle outside the police station on the Airport Road.
The Tripoli Security Directorate has given no indication of the fate of the seized manager and guards but named the murdered policeman as Nasruddin Khalifa. Social media pictures have been posted of him lying in a pool of blood as his colleagues tried in vain to save him.
The identity of the gunmen remains unclear. The Security Directorate put out a statement declaring: “All the security services inside Tripoli will continue to protect citizens and public and private institutions.”

When the Exchequer stops sending millions a day to Brussels, then I'll be convinced she's serious about Brexit.
[AnNahar] German prosecutors announced an investigation Tuesday into claims that Turkish agents are spying on alleged followers of exiled preacher Fethullah Gulen in Germany.
The probe came as a German state minister accused Turkey of the "unacceptable" espionage against supporters of Gulen, blamed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for a failed coup attempt last year.
The claims open a new front in the diplomatic row between NATO allies Germany and Turkey, whose relationship has been strained by a series of disputes centered on human rights issues.
"It is clear that the Turkish secret service MIT is investigating people living in Germany," said Boris Pistorius, interior minister of the northern German state of Lower Saxony, deploring the "intensity and ruthlessness" of Turkey's pursuit of people living abroad.
"It's intolerable and unacceptable," he said at a press conference.
Erdogan's government had asked Berlin to help spy on about 300 alleged Gulen supporters, Pistorius said, adding that the list was handed to Germany's BND spy service, which turned it over to state governments.
But Pistorius's state decided to inform the more than 10 targets in Lower Saxony, including a school and at least two companies, fearing people could suffer "retaliation" if they traveled to Turkey while unaware they were on a watch list.
Turkish authorities were acting with "something close to paranoia," he said, adding that "all Gulen supporters are assumed to be terrorists and enemies of the state even though there is not the tiniest scrap of evidence."
"As of today, we have no evidence whatsoever that Gulen supporters have violated any rules in any way."
According to German media, Turkish officials handed the target list including names, addresses, telephone numbers and photographs to their German counterparts during the Munich Security Conference in February.
Federal prosecutors will now examine how Turkey compiled such detailed information on their targets.
"The success of our investigation will depend largely on the information shared with us by German counter-espionage agencies," spokeswoman Frauke Koehler said about the probe into "persons unknown."
Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere meanwhile warned Turkey against spying in Germany, saying "espionage activities on German soil is punishable by law and will not be tolerated by us."
- Fraying ties -
Although Gulen, a 75-year-old cleric living the United States, has denied charges that he was involved in the failed coup last July to overthrow Erdogan, Ankara has cracked down hard on the preacher's followers.
More than 41,000 people in Turkey have been arrested over suspected links to Gulen's movement, and 100,000 fired or suspended from their jobs. Many of them are teachers, police, magistrates and journalists.
In February, German police raided the homes of four Turkish Muslim preachers suspected of spying on alleged Gulen supporters for Erdogan's government.
Erdogan has in turn accused Germany of harboring Kurdish and other "terrorists", claiming that Berlin is refusing to hand over alleged suspects.
Separately, the foreign ministries in Sweden and Denmark have called in Turkey's envoys over claims of Turkish spying on opposition figures living in the Scandinavian countries.
Germany's foreign intelligence chief Bruno Kahl drew Ankara's ire last week when he said he did not believe that Gulen was behind the failed coup.
Turkey had tried to convince Berlin that Gulen, who lives in a secluded compound in Pennsylvania, was behind the coup, "but they have not succeeded," Kahl told Der Spiegel magazine.
Kahl said the putsch was launched by a "part of the military" that expected to be targeted in an ongoing government purge.
Berlin has emerged as a strident critic of Ankara's post-coup crackdown, and is also urging Turkey to release a correspondent for the German daily Die Welt who is jailed on terror charges.
Ankara has been riled by German authorities' refusal to allow some Turkish ministers to campaign in the country's Turkish communities for a "yes" vote ahead of the April 16 referendum on giving Erdogan the powers of an executive presidency.

[RT] The US Department of State is off the air again as it seeks a permanent spokesperson. Gone are the daily press briefings of the Obama era, leaving many reporters at Foggy Bottom frustrated by Rex Tillerson’s corporate management style.
Tillerson, a former Exxon Mobile chief executive, took only one reporter along on his first trip to Asia earlier this month. During the first six weeks of the Trump administration, the State Department didn’t hold a single on-camera press briefing, only restarting the practice on March 7.

Gone are the daily press briefings of the Obama era. They were good for laughs since they strained credulity. One always came away thinking "Wow that was a wopper, they really expect us to believe that $hit?" Otherwise, they were useless. Mostly, they were used for covering up HRC's and O's criminality.

Sorry, but honor killings are built into the culture in Pakistain. This is not exactly a one-off story. Probably worth publicizing; eventually it might bring about change, say in the next 7 centuries or so although it's iffy.
No. He wasn't "hiding"
A man who went missing in Indonesia earlier this week was near his own garden ‐ inside the stomach of a 20-foot long snake.
The Straits Times ‐an English-speaking newspaper in Singapore ‐ reports that Akbar Salubiro was last seen on Sunday morning when he went off to harvest palm oil. After he didn't return home that evening, a search party was formed. and they searched everywhere
On Monday, those searching for Akbar found the giant snake lying dead just feet from Akbar's house. Pretty extensive search...not
According to the Times, Akbar's boots were clearly visible in the snake's stomach. Villagers used a knife to cut open the snake and remove the corpse.
Village secretary Salubiro Junaidi told Tribun Timur, a local media outlet, that cries for help could be heard from the palm grove at about 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. It's assumed the python choked Akbar to death, and the python then choked while attempting to swallow Akbar. It's common for pythons to choke on large animals they attempt to eat.

[ABC] NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body.
The Los Angeles Unified School District provides more funding for schools where the white population is below 30 percent.
In a letter to parents, the district noted the highly regarded middle school had been above the percentage for the past couple years.

What is the people in the largely "white" school district collectively say "give us our money since we all 'feel' colored (non-white)"? After all, aren't "feelings" all-important today? Seems like a lawsuit for discrimination waiting to happen in federal court. How much is that going to cost the Board of Education and the city?
[WAPO] Former senator Jim Webb declined Tuesday to accept an award as a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, citing pressure from a "small but vociferous group" of female alumni who are angry about past statements he made that women aren’t suited for combat and shouldn’t attend the academy.
Webb (D-Va.) was expected to receive a Distinguished Graduate Award along with four other alumni Friday in a ceremony in Annapolis, Md. The recognition is the most prestigious awarded by the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation, and it goes to living alumni whose character, service and stature "draw wholesome comparison to the qualities that the U.S. Naval Academy strives for in keeping with its ideals of duty, honor, loyalty and integrity," according to criteria published by the association.
But critics said the selection of Webb -- a highly decorated Marine veteran, 1968 academy graduate and recent presidential candidate -- was unacceptable because of his history of disrespecting women. They pointed primarily to an article published in Washingtonian magazine in 1979 in which he criticized women attending the academy and said that a dormitory there was a "horny woman’s dream." The article, headlined "Women Can’t Fight," was written by Webb after he left the military and while he was a popular academy professor.
Webb released a statement through the alumni association Monday night that said he was sorry for any trouble he caused. But on Tuesday evening he changed course, saying on his website that he expected more protests and does not want to be a distraction at the awards ceremony. He was nominated by classmates who graduated with him in 1968, he said.
"From conversations with the Alumni Association, including information passed down from top Navy leadership in the Pentagon, it is clear that those protesting my receipt of this award now threaten to disrupt the ceremonies surrounding its issuance," Webb said. "I am being told that my presence at the ceremony would likely mar the otherwise celebratory nature of that special day, and as a consequence I find it necessary to decline to accept the award."
So distinguished Naval Academy graduates will now be selected by a "small but vociferous group of female alumni."
