Edgecombe County deputies say hate crime charges are possible in a machete attack on Friday.
The attack happened Friday around 9 a.m. at a house on Carr Farm Road in Macclesfield.
According to deputies, the suspect, identified as Carlos Antonio Washington, was waiting behind the couple’s house and attacked the homeowner once the victim went inside the house.
Deputies said the homeowner fought the suspect off momentarily and deflected the machete. The homeowner’s wife came out with a gun and shot at Washington — ending the attack.
This attack might lead to hate crime charges because it was senseless and there are allegations that Washington targeted a random white family.
Deputies said federal hate crime charges are possible as the suspect is a Black Hebrew Israelite who attacked a white family at random. The Anti-Defamation League said there are many sects. Some are considered bully boy and are outspoken anti-Semites and racists. They’re unrelated to the Jewish faith.
Meanwhile Democrats and their media continue to resist monitoring black nationalist hate groups.

Abdul Rahman Tariq, Maidan Wardak governor, told Khaama Press in a phone interview that Taliban have let go of all those passengers who they have kidnapped last week, after the religious scholars and local elderlies made a formal plea for their release.
According to Tariq, 17 of kidnapees were freed soon after being captivated and the remaining 11 were released Tuesday night.
On Sunday last week, Talibs kidnapped 28 civilians in Maidan Wardak province on their way to Kabul city from area in phase I of Behsud.
These civilians were stopped and kidnapped in Siya Petab and Pul-Mehrab areas of the Jalrez district.

Three gunnies were killed by direct fire, with another three killed in coalition Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s.
One ICTS member was "lightly maimed" in the operation, according to a statement, and is in good health.
Mount Qarachogh, located just 60 kilometers southwest of Erbil, has become a safe haven for ISIS fighters since the group’s territorial control of the Nineveh Plains came to an end in mid-2017.
Makhmour is part of a swathe of northern Iraqi territory whose control is disputed by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the federal government. Kurdish and Iraqi forces both continue to carry out separate operations backed by the US-led Coalition to root out ISIS remnants.
Sirwan Barzani, Commander of the Peshmerga forces in Makhmour announced the death of 10 ISIS gunnies in a joint operation with the coalition last month.
ISIS sleeper cells have been able to carry out kidnappings, arson, and ambushes in the disputed territories across northern Iraq, despite being territorially defeated in Iraq in December 2017.

[NPASYRIA]A Syrian opposition group kidnapped on Monday, a leader of the Syrian opposition military police in the city of Bab, eastern Aleppo, north Syria.
Militants of the Hamza Division, a Syrian opposition group, kidnapped Muhammad Ali Tawil, known as Abi Ibrahim, the former head of the military police in the city of Bab, a military source told North Press.
The kidnapping of Tawil took place near the village of Tal Battal after he attended a meeting of local tribal heads and sheikhs in Bab, the source added.
The opposition-held areas have been witnessing several detentions, kidnappings, and repetitive explosions, in light of the opposition groups’ inability to settle the area.
In November, a local source told North Press that gunnies killed Hussein Jabali, an official in the civil police of the Syrian opposition groups near a mosque in the city of Bab.
The Ottoman Turkish army and its backed armed opposition groups have been running the city of Bab, 30 km away from the southern Ottoman Turkish borders, since 2017.

[NPASYRIA] The Syrian government forces targeted on Tuesday, an opposition site near a newly-formed Ottoman Turkish military post, in Idlib, northwestern Syria.
The Syrian government forces shelled during the morning hours, points in the town of Kansafra in Zawiya Mountain, south Idlib, a local source told North Press.
On Monday, the Ottoman Turkish troops established a new military post near Kansafra, 2 km from the frontlines with the government forces in the city of Kafr Nabl and the town of Hizareen.
The government shelling targeted regions and towns in the de-escalation zone in the southern countryside of Idlib, the source added.
The source stated that the government shelling caused major damage to the buildings near the military posts, while no casualties reported.

Then the trap sprung... the area has been witnessing military escalation and mutual shelling for a month coincided with Ottoman Turkish withdrawal from several military posts and establishing others, according to signed understandings with Russia.

[NPASYRIA]The Ottoman Turkish forces and the affiliated Syrian armed opposition groups bombed on Tuesday, the countryside of Manbij, northern Syria, causing material damage to civilian’s property.
The bombing took place from the Ottoman Turkish base in the village of Sheikh Nasser, where mortar shells and heavy artillery were used, which affected several villages in the western countryside of Manbij, local sources reported North Press.
The sources added that the bombing resulted in the destruction of the civilians’ property without reports about casualties.
The Media Center of the Manbij Military Council stated that the villages of al-Yalanli, Umm Adasah, and Jabalet al-Sayada were targeted by about 30 mortars and artillery shells.
The center pointed out that the area has been under intermittent bombardment since this evening.
Yesterday evening, the Ottoman Turkish forces and affiliated groups bombed the village of al-Hoshariya in the northeastern countryside of Manbij with several mortar shells.
The countryside of Manbij witnesses shelling by the Ottoman Turkish forces and the opposition groups every now and then, which often leads to deaths and injuries among civilians and causes loss of property.
