-Short Attention Span Theater-
The pictures that reveal true depth of Arnold Schwarzenegger's double life and deception Read m
Yikes! We marveled at how the mighty had fallen when we compared Monica Lewinsky to JFK squeeze Marilyn Monroe, but this...this is just sad.

New pictures which depict the depth of Arnold Schwarzenegger's alley cattery have surfaced.

In one of the images taken 10 years ago a trusting and blissfully unaware Maria Shriver embraces Mildred the popsy at a family event.

The pair both smile broadly at the camera as they share a hug, suggesting the pair had a close relationship.
Well, Mildred and Ahnold certainly did.

Maria had no idea at the time that the woman she was so warmly hugging was getting it on with her husband and had given birth to his child.

The comments are funny:
"Well, this goes to show, you can get sick of lobster, night after night and crave greasy fish n chips every once in a while. - Nina, West Midlands, 27/5/2011 12:50"

Another (from "ITALIA" no less) calls the Terminator (of marriages) "the quintessential continental European gentleman."
I think that's Eurotrash for "entitled horndog" or "rich alley cat."

Prisoners in China beaten for not mining enough virtual gold in WoW

#1  I quit on-line video games the day I learned that people in China mined virtual gold for people who played WoW in North America.

#2  Well, it is possible to play without buying gold, I've never done it.

What's stranger... the localized for-Chinese-people version of WoW is two major versions behind, last I checked, because of a bureaucratic insistance that having skeletons present in-game would be obscene in Chinese culture and tradition.

(Note that not only do no other east Asian countries have such a restriction, but there are other online games in China that seem to have skeletons with no bureaucratic problems whatsoever).

#3  So this online gaming biz has all been one big shamWoW.

#5  Easy - I play on a PvP server when I was active gaming in WoW (with a bunch of others - you'd be surprised how many old veterans you find in this game).

You spot a "gold farmer", you kill him. If there's more than one, you get a posse and kill them all. Repeatedly. "Ni hao, now die you fsking gold farmer"

Wisconsin: Dane Co. Judge strikes down collective bargaining law
An excerpt from the Journal-Sentinel article. Here is a link to Ann Althouse's comments on the subject:
Madison - A Dane County judge Thursday struck down legislation repealing most collective bargaining for public employees, but the measure could still gain new life from the state Supreme Court or a fresh vote by lawmakers.

In a 33-page decision, Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi overturned the legislation and ruled that GOP lawmakers broke the state's open meetings law in passing it March 9 amid raucous protests by union supporters. The legislation would limit collective bargaining to wages for all public employees in Wisconsin, except for police and firefighters, and impose cuts in their health and pension benefits to help balance a massive state budget shortfall.

On March 18, Sumi had placed a temporary hold on the law, but Thursday's ruling voided it - at least until the Supreme Court decides whether to act in the case.

#1  "...ruled that GOP lawmakers broke the state's open meetings law.."

Tool. Anyone who witnessed the union thuggery in Madison can't with any honesty say that there wasn't an open meeting. If the Trunks had any guts they'd write up impeachment papers right now. If you cross that line, be prepared to face the consequence.

#2  This is a county judge in a county that makes Cook County, IL look like Pericles Athens... Takes a criminal conviction to remove em, or a retention ballot loss.

#3  The judge is completely corrupted in this matter. She needs be removed from the case and impeached for her blatant conflict of interest.

WisconsinJudge Maryann Sumi & Her (SEIU, AFL-CIO) Political Operative Son

This is a problem. Judge Maryann Sumi should have recused herself entirely from the Wisconsin battle due to her inability to be neutral in this case. You see, Maryann Sumi has a clear conflict of interest. Her son is a political operative who also happens to be a former lead field manager with the AFL-CIO and data manager for the SEIU State Council. Both the SEIU and the AFL-CIO have members who are public-sector employees in Wisconsin. In fact, as a federation, the AFL-CIO can boast of several member-unions that represent public-sector employees. Maryann Sumi is hardly an unbiased judge in the matter.

Jacob “Jake” Sinderbrand, Sumi’s son [see page nine here], runs a company called Left Field Strategies, a firm that works on political campaigns.

#4  I see the mob has completely infiltrated the justice system in Wisconsin.

If this isn't an impeachable offense, nothing is. Black robed tyrants.

#5  File under corruption. More than 94 appellate Judges may have to be fired if we get a decent President. Were it up to me, I would fire everyone.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Obama Threw Paleos Under the Bus?
A long piece, but interesting. I might have to read it again to grasp it well.
It is important to grasp something that many commentators, puzzled and distracted by the buzz, have missed: this was by any standards a very, very pro-Israel speech. More, it came just as the Obama official widely seen as most sympathetic to the Palestinian position (George Mitchell) stepped down, leaving Dennis Ross -- widely seen as more sympathetic to Israel -- on top.

No doubt the core pro-Israel and pro-democracy elements of the speech are why distinguished conservative writers and thinkers like Victor Davis Hanson and Max Boot have dismissed the claims that Obama threw Israel under the bus. This is perhaps also why ADL leader (and leading pro-Israel figure) Abe Foxman didn't object to the perfunctory and formalistic invocation of the 1967 'frontiers'.

From President Obama's point of view, criticism over the boundary issue is the gift that keeps on giving. If George W. Bush had given this speech, European political leaders would be up in arms about America's outrageous and one-sided support for Israel.
Bush could've said the sky is blue and got a similar reaction.
But when Obama gave it, Europeans swooned for joy. At last, an American President with the guts to stand up to those all-controlling, all-manipulating Jews! This would be funny if it weren't so ugly and sad, but from the White House point of view it is useful.
Well, if true, that'd explain why the press is going along with it.
But if the White House has rather neatly finessed the politics of the moment, it is still a long way from managing the turbulence in the Middle East. Peace between Israelis and Palestinians will almost certainly not come on Obama's watch; he can forget about peace -- he will be lucky if he can get a peace process of some kind back on track. The economic meltdown in Egypt darkens prospects for the Arab spring. President Obama's endorsement of the democratic revolutions could come back to haunt him if the ultimate beneficiaries of the revolution are the radicals.

Having the world think Obama is a brave Jew-defying President wrestling the almighty lobby even as he shifts policy back toward the approaches taken by his immediate Republican and Democratic predecessors is a best-case outcome for President Obama at this point.
And a pretty clever stunt, if that was his intention, AND he can pull it off.
Luckily for him, that looks like the way things are going -- and the more heat he gets from the right the more likely it is that the world will keep its eyes fixed on his non-existent contest with the awesome but illusory Elders of Zion.
