[NYPOST] A Louisiana man brought his alleged 11-year-old rape victim to the hospital, only to lead police on a chase when doctors learned the girl was pregnant with his child.
Wendell Sanchez, 34, dropped off the child at the emergency room and waited in his vehicle after she complained of stomach pains, according to police.
Staff alerted cops that the girl was pregnant and Sanchez was believed to be the father.
When deputies arrived, Sanchez fled, abandoning his car and running to a nearby apartment complex.
Police found him hiding on a patio, where they say he was in possession of illegal narcotics, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Sanchez faces a slew of felony charges, including first-degree rape with a victim under the age of 13 and the creation of a clandestine lab.
His bond is set at more than a half-million dollars.

No word on what she ingested prior to the encounter with the interstellar snowplow... [PAGESIX] In a new Interview, Miley Cyrus claims she once saw a UFO and made eye contact with its driver."I was driving through San Bernardino with my friend, and I got chased down by some sort of UFO," the "Midnight Sky" singer, 27, told Interview magazine. "I’m pretty sure about what I saw, but I’d also bought weed wax from a guy in a van in front of a taco shop, so it could have been the weed wax."
Cyrus went to explain that the UFO resembled a "flying snowplow" and was "glowing yellow."
She continued, "I did see it flying, and my friend saw it, too. There were a couple of other cars on the road and they also stopped to look, so I think what I saw was real."
"The Voice" judge says that she didn’t feel threatened by the encounter and even made eye contact with the being sitting in the driver’s seat.
"I think that’s what really shook me, looking into the eyes of something that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around," she confessed, adding that the experience left her feeling disturbed.
"I was shaken for, like, five days. It f—ked me up," she said. "I couldn’t really look at the sky the same. I thought they might come back."
Cyrus isn’t the only pop star seeing aliens these days.
Demi Lovato recently revealed she’s been making contact with extraterrestrials following her split from fiancé Max Ehrich.
"Over the past couple months I have dug deep into the science of consciousness and experienced not only peace and serenity like I’ve never known but I also have witnessed the most incredibly profound sightings both in the sky as well as feet away from me," she captioned a series of photos on her Instagram this week. Well, when I think of stable, well-adjusted models of femininity, I think of Miley and Demi.....NAAAAaaahhhhh

I swept that lot practically daily.
One night, something vaguely mammalian
Roars by on the road
Just below. Man, I'm blowed...
It's a lizard-tongued, googly-eyed ALIEN!

Ha! Always liked that song. Never really listened to the words, though... hmmm... probably shouldn't start now.
Checkered Flag, or, Running in Circles
Your background's too shameful or seedy?
You're guilt- ridden, insecure, needy?
When short of attention,
Just casually mention,
"I'm tired of my race!" Sure and speedy.

I refuse to believe these fakes are convincing. If want to convince they can start with tests of Caroilne Munro and Racquel Welch in their prime. Sort of a proof of concept.
To be serious, Im not sure the younger generation really has much of a shame instinct left. If it wasn't for the under-age aspect of this story I'm not sure anyone would care.

Ditto #2. The USAF only needs to schedule aviators that need time aloft to maintain their flight status for a flyover -- it isn't a Dog n' Pony show (unlike a Pro Football game).

It shows how stupid Aikman and Buck are. As long as they've covered the National Felons League, they didn't know of the relationship with DoD? Come on.

Flyovers should be great training. Plenty of targets out there about stadium sized. If Troy Boi and Jack-off Buck, most of the players and coaches and other sports moonbats keep it up, stadiums might make great targets, especially while the stands are empty...

Seems like there are more and more "hot mic" incidents. He's entitled to his opinion, but in the broadcast booth, he/they best be careful. Such (political) opinions are best uttered in the hotel bar.
[Ynet] - Four days after the the reopening of the country’s kindergartens, the Health Ministry said Thursday that 34 kindergarten teachers have tested positive for the coronavirus, out of the 1,506 educators who received tests results a day earlier. Good thing we know - been told by REAL doctors - that children cannot get, or transmit this particular virus (unlike any other virus)
The Health Ministry said there were 1,089 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing Israel close to its target of 1,000 daily cases before further lockdown restrictions are lifted.
The country conducted 40,915 tests, yielding an overall positivity rate of 2.7%, far below a peak of some 14% before lockdown began in mid-September. There are lockdowns, and the there are lockdowns - I don't think Whitmer or Newsom would recognize an Israeli lockdown. Report: Data From 200,000 Students Across 47 States Reveals Shockingly Low COVID Case Rate

Making assumptions that these teachers got the virus from students is the type of unscientific leap to conclusion that causes mistakes in public health decisions.

While we are truthfully educating ourselves.
Last week out of 342 Million in the USA.
17,073 out of 342,000,000 tested positive for Covid-19 and 277 died. Note: The CDC "re-updated" the figure this morning to 468.
Still to die from the C-19 last week you would have to be 1 of the 468 (2.747027470274703 of the infected 17,073 (0.0049921 of 1%) infected out of 342,000,000
IN SIMPLER TERMS
99.99999999529534% Americas population DID NOT DIE of the Covid-19 last week.
99.99500789473684% Americas population WAS NOT INFECTED by the Covid-19 last week.
Overall, 7.9% assigned the placebo developed COVID-19, while 5.9% assigned hydroxychloroquine developed COVID-19.
So 25% fewer people test +ive for COVID on HCQ...
Which they claim is
"those results were not statistically significant, meaning there was not a meaningful difference between hydroxychloroquine and the placebo."
Be interesting to see what they claim an effect would have to be

^ That's easy, BP. CV-19 is the latest target for the Zero Tolerance™ brigade. Anything less than 100% is the same as zero.

Some these tests have a 2 percent false positive rate. Out of 1500 tests that would mean you shoud expect 30 false positives. There were 34 positives.
Conclusion?

I fail to recall at any point the discussion, one way or the other, that children are immune to getting the wuflu.
#17
^ True - NOT immune, just a very low rate as the article I added (in green) shows. 200,000 is a pretty large sample and even our resident Lockdown Apparatchik would be hard-pressed to deny that

#16 I don't expect you to review all the diatribes that some "covid-sceptics" have thrown at me in the last few months. But the point was definitely raised - more than once.
If you are really interested, look for the Korean study I cites in #8, and you will find their pertinent posts.
Meanwhile, if you're really interested - this was the dogma until the Korean study.

#16 (a) Yes Frank, whenever people wear masks, wash hands, and maintain other safety precautions - the infection rate is low. You, personally, wear a mask in public places?
(b) See, you don't have to descend into gutter when commenting on one of my posts.

As I recall, my grandchildren got a lot of colds, flu, etc. from their school chums, and brought it home to their parents. Now they go to school electronically. Good thing they have stay-at-home moms.

Making assumptions that these teachers got the virus from students is the type of unscientific leap to conclusion that causes mistakes in public health decisions.
We already know they got 'em from the kiddies - because it exactly what happened in May.
Wait what is the gestation period? I've heard between 2 and 14 days, which is like saying, "I'm not sure if that color is yellow or blue?"
And is that tested positive (false positives not withstanding) for exposure to, or infected from?
I'd assume that the teachers for sure were following protocol, yet the exposure rate is in the 2-3% which seems to be typical, so are the mask and distancing procedures not making a measurable difference?
Now, as for masks, to be fair my life could depend upon the proper mask and fit for my well being; this is coming from a firefighter and a SCBA diver, as well as woodshop experience.
The best fit for what is popular, from my experience, is my use of N95 with the elastic around the back of the head and metal nose clip, and with a full nomex hood which covers all the head and neck other than the eyes, which would have goggle protection.
To the latter, every time I deployed this as a PPE in a grass fire with goggles I'd still pick chunks out of my nose and eyes, nevermind the finer particles I'd chuck out for a couple days after.
To the former, it was a good fit until talking which would break the seal; more so if proper facial hair shaving wasn't followed.
Both of those are subject to facial features.
So my personal opinion about the ear hook style is they work: as placebo. They are dependent upon the muscular structure and stability of the mandible. Talking, especially those who do wiggle their ears (don't look at Obama, its funny), seal is constantly broken, especially on exhale. On the exhale, without a forced seal, opening appear and the air follows the path of least resistance and just goes a different direction.
On inhale, the person takes longer, deeper breaths, not only deep inhaling broken seals but whatever exhaust didn't leave the mask.
What that means is that person is taking deeper breaths of stuff which is supposed to be exhausted, such as if a person has been exposed to something, such as the Wu Flu, it get sucked deeper into the lungs.
For giggles, let's say someone's immune system has atrophied from lack of exposure to germs and viruses, and suddenly typical stuff in the air becomes quite a bit more dangerous.

His personal opinion, worth no more than any other Catholic’s. When he speaks ex cathedra, there is an elaborately written document in Latin, long press releases containing translations, and a statement made by the pope in full uniform surrounded by the cardinals and such ditto. But it isn’t fair to expect Russia Today to understand the difference.

Long ago I read that Saints Augustine and Thomas Aquinas both put themselves on record against making prostitution illegal, grounds being that less moral men needed some outlet for their lusts.

Update to the "Israeli Secret Agents Investigating COVID-19 Patients: Reports" from yesterday
[YNet] - By the end of next week Israel will have 2,800 investigators working to break chains of coronavirus contagion across the country and by the end of next month the country will be carrying out 100,000 tests per day, says Brig. Gen. Nissan Davidi, the head of the IDF Home Front Command coronavirus task force. Because the way to avoid lockdowns is not to pretend that the virus doesn't exist. Or chase the mirage of "herd immunity".
The major problem facing investigators trying to break the chains of contagion is Israelis' reluctance to be completely honest about their movements and with whom they have been in contact.
According to studies conducted abroad, a verified carrier comes into contact with an average of 18 people. But even during Israel's first wave of the virus, when confidence in the government's ability to handle the pandemic was still high, those who were questioned about their movements reported coming into contact with an average of just six people. Of course, this particular unit is used to working with "noncooperative" clients
[RFERL.ORG] A Russian photographer snuck into the world’s only nuclear-capable, ground-effect vehicle and captured rare images of its interior.
This summer, Russian urban explorer Lana Sator, 31, read about the ekranoplan being towed by sea to Derbent, a city in Daghestan, where it is due to be moved into a "patriotic park" and put on permanent display.
With the ekranoplan lolling in the waves awaiting its final transport to the military theme park, Sator told RFE/RL she booked a last-minute, $150 flight from her base in Moscow to Daghestan............. Just something amusing for a Thursday morning.

First working test version of the 2nd stage known as StarShip - The first stage is still under initial test conditions and not enough raptor engines have been made yet to have it be more than a test first stage. It is called StarShip Heavy This StarShip has 3 air raptor motors but not any vacuum ones yet. So for in the atmosphere this StarShip has configured engines but not for outside an atmosphere and it has no re-entry tiles yet (other then test patches of tiles). Internal space of this Nose Cone is: 1,100 m3 (39,000 cu ft).
If SN8 (serial number 8) fails SN9 is right behind it in the build queue and is almost ready to fly. Actually work has actually reached SN-10 through SN-14 and SH-1 has been started.
[PJMEDIA] On Tuesday, Facebook stood by its decision to demonetize the Christian satire site The Babylon Bee over a satire article regurgitating a witch joke from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Facebook claimed that the article "Senator Hirono Demands ACB Be Weighed Against A Duck To See If She Is A Witch" actually "incites violence." The social media platform demanded that the Babylon Bee edit the article and not speak publicly about the review, but Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon went public.
"So after a manual review, Facebook says they stand by their decision to pull down this article and demonetize our page. I'm not kidding. They say this article ‘incites violence,'" Dillon tweeted. "It's literally a regurgitated joke from a Monty Python movie!"
"In what universe does a fictional quote as part of an obvious joke constitute a genuine incitement to violence?" the CEO asked. "How does context not come into play here? They're asking us to edit the article and not speak publicly about internal content reviews. Oops, did I just tweet this?"

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
