Sofia Trepova, a resident of St. Petersburg,, was detained. According to investigators, it was she who brought to the cafe a box with a bust of Tatarsky, in which an explosive device was mounted.
It is known that in February 2022 she was detained twice during "anti-war" rallies. There is also information that the detainee had previously transferred money to Ukrainian militants. Again it is unclear if Daria Trewpova was the one detained during antiwar protest, and if Daria Trepova was giving money to Ukrainian militants.
Investigators are also checking Darya's husband Dmitry Rylov for involvement in the crime, but his whereabouts have not been established at the moment. Whether he himself was present at the event is also still unknown.
