[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The home of the US Ambassador to Japan Rahm "Tiny Dancer"
Emanuel became the target of anti-Semitic vandals over the weekend who spray painted the word 'Nazis' on a fence outside the house in Michigan.
Emanuel, 63, a Jewish-American who was formerly the mayor of Chicago and is considered one of former President Barack Obama's closest confidantes, was not home at the time of the incident which occurred in the beach community of Union Pier, around 75 miles north of the Windy City.
'Our family is very proud of how our friends neighbors and the community have rallied to our support and in a singular voice in condemning hatred and bigotry,' Emanuel said in a brief statement.
Reformed Neo-Nazi leader Jeff Schoep told ABC Chicago that anti-Semitic groups have become 'emboldened' by mass demonstrations denouncing Israel. Speaking about the attack on Emanuel's home, Schoep said it's 'intended to be insulting. It's extremely hateful and vile, and that's the intention behind it.'
The graffiti attack was also condemned by the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Uh huh
In Japan, his longstanding West Wing ties are seen as an advantage by the government of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, which is eager to tighten bonds with Washington, a senior Japanese official told Reuters in September.
Emanuel and his wife, Amy Rule, have maintained a retreat in Union Pier for decades.
A day earlier, Neo-Nazis marched unopposed on Wisconsin's state capitol waving swastika flags, performing Hitler salutes and leaving onlookers shaking with fear. Around 20 members of the self-styled 'Blood Tribe' group halted outside a former synagogue chanting 'Israel is not our friend' and 'there will be blood' as state police looked on.
By the end of October, the ADL said that anti-Semitic attacks were up 400 percent in the US since October 7 compared against the same time period last year.
Government officials met American-Jewish leaders last month to discuss steps to counter what a White House official described as an alarming uptick in reported instances of antisemitism on university campuses.

I always figured the Japanese had better sense than that.

Well, if Trump is in a trial and the powers to be use that to shut him down, then by extension should not Trump then get to shut down these parties if they are in a trial with him?

The traditional jurisprudence is it is difficult for a "public figure" to win this sort of case. As "social media" has made anyone who is unfortunate enough to appear in it a "public figure," it's probably time to make some adjustments to the statutes involved.

The suit is very specific and should have been an SEC criminal case.
It was a concerted attempt to lower the value of a Trump corporation that they were trying to sell.
The 20 firms all reported a 73 million $ loss that never occurred nor was it claimed anywhere by any of the partied in the merger/sale or the government. IN A FAIR GOVERNMENT the SEC would have put criminal charges in action.
[Gateway] This was Lara’s third investigative piece on Ray Epps. The entire collection is posted on the Truth in Media website.
Lara Logan continued to ask the question: Why was Ray Epps treated as a victim by the same people who condemned almost everyone around him as a threat?
Lara answers some lingering questions about the one "election-denying-Donald Trump-supporter" the media and the government didn’t seem to hate.
Today, Lara Logan shares never-before-seen footage and evidence of a past crime by Ray Epps that was glossed over by Liz Cheney and her shameful Jan. 6 committee.
[Newsmax] Author, talk show host, and former Republican presidential candidate Larry Elder told Newsmax on Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris stands in California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's way to run as a Democrat in the 2024 presidential election. *Snicker*
Speaking with "Rob Schmitt Tonight," Elder explains the identity politics surrounding Newsom's push.
Riffing off a slew of problems facing California, such as homelessness and business destroyed by COVID lockdowns, Elder says, "the guy wants to be president."
"What's stopping him, though, is something called — someone called— Kamala Harris."
Elder goes on to explain that Black women in South Carolina, which is considered an early key primary state, "love them some Kamala Harris." And if Harris is not seen running, whether as a presidential candidate herself or alongside Biden, "they just won't vote."

As far as I'm concerned, Harris has an awful lot of negatives. But anybody who runs against Newsom needs only to talk about how he has presided over the decline of California...not that Harris would have done any better if she'd been governor but as vice-president she really hasn't done much of anything.

[RedState] Many on X are now talking about a disturbing comment that Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) made about former President Donald Trump.
Our friends at our sister site, Twitchy, picked up the comment. Goldman was on MSNBC with Jen Psaki. They were talking about an interview former President Donald Trump had with ABC's Jonathan Karl. In that interview, Trump told Karl that he had wanted to go up to the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot to try to stop what was going on. But Trump said the Secret Service discouraged that. The MSNBC chyron at the bottom of the screen framed that as "New audio: Trump says he wanted to join Jan. 6 crowd," which miscasts what Trump said.

NBC June 1, 2022 : WASHINGTON — Daniel Goldman, a former federal prosecutor...,counsel for House Democrats during the first Trump impeachment inquiry, announced Wednesday that he's running for Congress in New York. Goldman, 46, said... "As we look around the country and threats that are really existential in terms of our democracy — threats to right to vote, threats against right to choose, our climate and public safety — I am running for Congress in this new 10th District because I want to get on the front lines and back in the trenches like I did during the impeachment to fight for our democracy, defend our democracy, but also bring a new voice so that we can move some of these issues forward that the Republicans in particular are really trying to roll back," Goldman said in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." ... [The wealthy] Goldman [outspent] a highly competitive field, facing candidates such as former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio....
[NYPOST] President Biden will mark his 81st birthday Monday by forgiving turkeys — as his insiders reportedly ramp up their own operation dubbed “Bubble Wrap” to protect the oldest-ever president from his regular stumbles.
The birthday boy will forgive the two turkeys, Liberty and Bell, on the South Lawn of the White House Monday morning, before first Lady Jill Biden later accepts the official White House Christmas tree.
Beyond the president’s daily morning briefing, they are the only official scheduled events for a birthday he will otherwise mark with a low-key family celebration.
Still, the focus remains firmly on Biden’s age — with insiders telling The New York Times that the focus on trying to protect the oldest-ever president from tripping or falling during his reelection campaign is jokingly being called operation “Bubble Wrap.”
“He doesn’t look and speak the part,” John B. Judis, a longtime political strategist and author, told the Times. “He’s not a commanding or charming presence on a presidential or presidential election stage,” Judis noted.
"I think a lot of voters and young people in particular who are not at all put off by his political positions or accomplishments are put off by his utter failure as a regal persona,” Judis said.
“And I don’t know how that can be fixed. Not by bicycling.”

My wife had a birthday card she kept around for laughs. On the front were a bunch of hippies and 70s faculty lounge types with the caption: All your friends got together to get you a birthday present." Inside, in plain black print on a plain white background, it said "We're having you put to sleep."

[THEEPOCHTIMES] Republicans on Nov. 18 swept three statewide runoff elections in Louisiana, securing wins in the races for attorney general, secretary of state, and treasurer.
The three victories mean that Republicans secured every statewide elected office for the first time since 2015, the year Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards won the first of his two terms in office. Mr. Edwards’s successor is Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, a Republican who won the governorship outright in October and avoided a runoff.
On Nov. 18, Liz Murrill was elected as attorney general, and Nancy Landry was elected as secretary of state, becoming the state’s first women to hold the key roles. John Fleming was elected as treasurer. All three secured more than 65 percent of the vote, according to the Louisiana secretary of state’s office.
Ms. Murrill, Ms. Landry, and Mr. Fleming were all endorsed by former President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and whatever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... , as was Mr. Landry. Ms. Landry isn't related to the governor-elect.
The three Republicans "are outstanding in every way and have my Complete and Total Endorsement," President Trump wrote on his Truth Social account on Nov. 16. "We need Republican Leadership in the Great State of Louisiana."
"I’m so humble and I’m honored that the people of our state have chosen me to represent you and us and to fight for you," Ms. Murrill said in her victory speech on Nov. 18.
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Did the former lead counsel in President Trump’s first sham impeachment call for his liquidation yesterday?
Former Barack Obama They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them... press secretary Jen Psaki ...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State under Obama... was hosting Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) on her MSNBC show, "Inside with Jen Psaki," Sunday to discuss the recently released January 6 tapes when he made some disturbing remarks which are now going viral on social media.
During their interview, Psaki played a tape of a conversation Trump had with ABC’s Jonathan Karl about the J6 protests. The 45th president tells Karl he wishes he could have gone to the Capitol to "stop the problem" and says he would have been "very well-received" had he been allowed to do so.
She then asked Goldman whether he felt "as a prosecutor, this is something that could be useful in the case (Jack Smith’s J6 garbage inquisition) against Trump."
Goldman said yes and went on to blame Trump for "riling up" and "inciting" his supporters. He also states that "every time he (Trump) talks, he’s putting himself into a bigger criminal hole" and "his objective is purely political."
The New York leftist then calls for drastic action to stop Trump from being elected, declaring "he has to be eliminated."
His rhetoric is really getting dangerous, more and more dangerous... and we saw what happened on January 6th when he uses inflammatory rhetoric. That man cannot see public office again.
