Blued Colt Python: Balanced, Accurate, Legendary
[Breitbart] Colt has reintroduced its legendary Python .357 Magnum revolver in a blued finish, and the firearm is perfectly balanced and deadly accurate, as well as legendary.

The Python was launched by Colt in 1955 and it is iconic in the revolver world. It is immediately recognizable via the ventilation rib that runs the length of the barrel.

The reintroduced blued Python comes with either a 4.25″ or 6″ barrel length and holds six rounds of ammunition. The model we shot had a 4.25″ barrel and we shot .357 Magnum and various .38 Special rounds through it.
Somebody is most definitely in love with his new toy. More technical details lovingly described at the link.

'The Phantom Menace': The United States was afraid of Darth Putin and his Death Star
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
by David Narmania

[Ria] It's not all in vain. It was not for nothing that soldiers sent captured washing machines to Russia, it was not for nothing that toilets were stolen, it was not for nothing that unprecedented sanctions crushed the Russian economy, it was not for nothing that “the entire civilized world” turned away. Washing machines, toilets, sanctions and isolation allowed the Kremlin to achieve the impossible - build the Death Star.
Oh dear. That is the depleted uranium of sarcasm...
At least, this is exactly the impression one gets against the backdrop of the hype that has been created in the United States around “Russia’s new space weapons.”

The first sign was the statement of Mike Turner, head of the Intelligence Committee in the House of Representatives. He asked Joe Biden to declassify all information related to a certain “national security threat” to the United States so that Congress, the administration and American allies could familiarize themselves with the data.

And so it began. The American media are vying with each other about some new Russian weapon in space: some claim that it is nuclear, others say that it is something with a nuclear engine and capable of destroying satellites.

Only the next day, the coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby, rushed to calm everyone down. He said that Russia is indeed developing anti-satellite weapons, but they have not yet been deployed, and therefore “there is no immediate threat to security.”

It is still unclear what kind of weapon we are talking about. But it is quite obvious that another attempt to exaggerate the new “Russian threat” is connected with the stalled bill on the allocation of additional funds to support Ukraine. And now congressmen will have a lot of time to think: the House of Representatives went on recess until March.

However, there is another reason for such manipulations. It is no coincidence that US Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins paid special attention to the START III treaty at hearings in the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

"New START continues to fully meet our security interests. Currently, although Russia has suspended participation in the treaty, it still complies with the quantitative restrictions of the treaty," she said.

That is, the West, whose commitment to gentleman's agreements has become the talk of the town, for some reason clung to the agreement, which, in essence, rests on the word of one person - Vladimir Putin. And this trust has its reasons.

Nuclear weapons are a powerful trump card and the last argument of the superpowers. And Russia is constantly working on its arsenals of weapons of mass destruction: the Sarmat strategic complex entered service in September, and in December the president noted that the share of modern weapons in the nuclear triad was 95 percent - four percent more than a year earlier.

But the United States cannot boast of this. The half-century-old Minuteman III ICBM, which entered service back in the 1970s, is rapidly aging. And their replacement, the LGM-35 Sentinel, has encountered serious problems: the program is not meeting deadlines and is rapidly becoming more expensive, so the US government is even discussing the possibility of closing it. Washington doesn’t know what to do with intercontinental ballistic missiles then.

The United States is experiencing similar difficulties with the other two pillars of the nuclear triad—ballistic missile submarines and strategic bombers. In particular, Washington is considering the possibility of extending the service life of the famous B-52 Stratofortress, which bombed Vietnam, until 2060. And if these plans are confirmed, then the “flying fortress” will celebrate its centenary as the main strategic bomber of the American Air Force.

In other words, the United States is rapidly lagging behind Russia in terms of the combat effectiveness of strategic forces, and meanwhile China is catching up with them, which is not bound by any bilateral agreements with Washington in this area. And this is not to mention the sore subject of hypersonic weapons for Washington, where the “hail on a hill” is forced to catch up with Iran, which has lived under sanctions for more than 40 years.

So the White House does not rely on a good life for the Kremlin’s commitment to its word. And therefore, any information about new types of weapons - and even more so about the use of nuclear technology in space for military purposes - makes the American authorities worry. That’s why Biden immediately ordered to contact Moscow on this matter. They are worried.

And let them worry.

Europe
European values. Death as a way to save money
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Sergey Khudiev

[REGNUM] Former Dutch Prime Minister Dries van Agt - and his wife Eugenie - were subjected to couple euthanasia. Their deaths are part of a growing trend in the Netherlands of spouses, often older ones, voluntarily dying together. This is presented as something good and romantic, worthy of imitation.

However, this indicates that euthanasia has long ceased to be “getting rid of unbearable suffering,” but has simply become a suicide encouraged by society. When euthanasia was first introduced, we were talking about exceptional cases when a person dies in any case and experiences severe suffering, from which a “good death” should save him.

But, as conservatives predicted, it is now applied to almost everyone who expresses such a desire - and it is difficult to understand where the line is between voluntary consent and pushing a person out of life.

This means a profound ideological shift - in Christian culture (this is also true for other Abrahamic religions) suicide is viewed as a grave sin. It is a sin to commit it, a sin to incline towards it, a sin to provide the means for it. Moreover, if a suicide can be partly excused by mental illness or some other serious suffering, then there can be no excuse for those who helpfully offer him poison.

In pagan cultures, from ancient Rome to Japan, this was not the case - committing suicide could be considered a completely acceptable, even sometimes honorable way out of a difficult situation.

In Europe, the taboo persisted for quite a long time by inertia among non-believers. It was taken for granted that a suicide should be pulled out of the loop, and having been pulled out, provide him with psychiatric help - the person is clearly seriously ill, in this case it is necessary not to “respect personal choice”, but to prescribe a course of treatment. Then the saved one will be grateful for the rest of his life.

But as the Christian heritage faded, powerful forces came into play interested in people killing themselves. The aging of Europe's population means that the number of users of social services - pensions, healthcare and the like - is constantly increasing, while the number of taxpayers is decreasing. Moreover, advances in medicine have meant that people, on average, live significantly longer than before.

Any system strives to optimize costs - and killing a person who is no longer a taxpayer (but, on the contrary, only consuming resources) is much easier and cheaper than treating him.

As leading British moral philosopher Baroness Helen Warnock said back in 2008, some, such as those suffering from dementia, are bound to die. “If you have dementia <…> you are wasting many people's lives <…> your family's life and national health resources.”

Of course, not everyone has the courage for such directness - but the state’s motive here is clear. Recent scandals in Canada, where euthanasia was literally forced on people they did not want to spend money on, show how this works. On the other hand, the same cultural shift - the erosion of not only faith, but also the attitude towards life associated with it - makes people susceptible to pressure from the purveyors of death.

I once saw a cartoon on the Internet of two white men in neat suits coming to an African village and saying: “We are atheist missionaries. We announce to you that you will suffer without any meaning, and then you will die forever."

This view of reality, in which life is devoid of higher meaning and irreversibly ends at the moment of physical death, leaves a person defenseless in the face of the temptation to get rid of all meaningless hardships and fall asleep forever.

Rejection of traditional religion deprives a person of trust in God and the hope that temporary sorrows will turn into eternal joy. Individualism deprives him of solidarity with others. A person perceives himself as truly unnecessary, neither to others nor to himself.

The only meaning that remains in life is the pleasures that can be obtained from it. But pretty soon the balance between pleasures and hardships turns out to be unfavorable - and the person himself seeks to be killed.

Euthanasia will be a powerful temptation in our country too, because the population is aging, just like in Europe, and the European example of savings will already be before our eyes.

But a society that does not see meaning in the lives of its economically disadvantaged members is doomed to go wild - and then die in order to cede its lands to other peoples.

And here it is important to decide on your values from the very beginning. Human life is worth living. Every hour of it has a meaning that is not always clear to us, but deep. The sick must be treated, the suffering must be numbed, the sad must be comforted - and not killed.

Biden plots to deepen the deep state in a bid to 'thwart' a victorious Trump's capacity to govern -report
[American Thinker] Peaceful transition of power?

Not on your life with the scheming leftists Bidenites currently entrenched in the White House.

According to Fox News, citing a report from the Associated Press, they are busy as beavers these days, 'bracing' for a second President Trump term, and preparing to 'thwart' his capacity to govern.

The Associated Press report reads:

A collection of activists, advocates and legal experts is promoting new federal rules to limit presidential power while urging Biden’s White House to do more to protect his accomplishments and limit Trump in a possible second term. All of that is happening with far less fanfare than plans by Trump supporters to create a conservative government-in-waiting via an effort known as "Project 2025."

The Office of Personnel Management, the federal government’s chief human resources agency, proposed a rule against reclassifying tens of thousands of workers so they can be more easily fired. According to spokesperson Viet Tran, the office will finalize the rule in April. That means that a future administration would likely have to spend months — or even years — unwinding it if they want to try to do so.
Or President Trump writes an executive order reversing the rule. President Biden did that to a long list of Trump EOs immediately after being sworn into office.
Which is frankly shocking.

Obviously, what the voters want is unimportant. That they elect Trump to clean out this establishment of partisan plotters is of no conscience-twinging importance to them at all as they plot to ensure their permanent power, because in their minds, they have a "divine right" to rule.

"Activists, advocates, legal experts"? This sounds like the same bunch that created the "shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election," in the famous 2021 Time magazine piece by Molly Ball. They did succeed in rigging the election against Trump -- and the voters -- at least once.

#1  Telling actually. The Deep State strongly senses a Trump landslide, as does nearly everyone else. Their strategy is/has been to lower the boats and scuttle the ship. Blame for failure will be placed on an ailing Biden, his scatterbrained #2, and of course Trump himself.

We were informed during the Carlson interview that Putin supports Biden. This firmly places Vlad among his numerous colleagues in the Washington anti-MAGA, 'never Trump' crowd. Anthony Franks makes that point in successive chapters of his book 'Destroying America.'

Appears Senator Joe McCarthy wasn't wrong, just a bit ahead of his time.

Russian President forever Putin is a product of the Russian intelligence community. Our system is nearly identical. Unelected agents behind the curtain orchestrating a serialization and installment of differing names and faces to satisfy the masses.

Trump will indeed have his hands full cleaning up the mess intentionally left behind.

Ben-Gvir and security officials face-off over Temple Mount entries leading up to Ramadan
[Jpost] "The positions of some security officials who recommend approving the massive entry of PA residents to the Temple Mount shows that they learned nothing from October 7," said Ben-Gvir.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and a number of other ministers and security officials will meet on Sunday afternoon to set policy over visits to the Temple Mount by Muslim Arab citizens of Israel and Palestinians from the West Bank during the month-long Muslim holiday of Ramadan, which begins on March 10.

The issue is highly contentious, as Ramadan usually brings with it heightened security tensions. Reports on Friday, which a spokesperson for Ben-Gvir said on Sunday were "largely correct," said that the national security minister's position was to prevent Arab residents of the West Bank from entering the mount entirely, while only allowing entry for Israeli Arabs aged 70 and above.

Ben-Gvir expressed concerns that adopting the other security bodies' positions could lead to the display of tens of thousands of Hamas flags on the Temple Mount, and lead to outbreaks of violence.

In contrast, according to a report by Maariv, the Israel Police recommended allowing entry for Arab residents of the West Bank from age 60 and for Israeli Arabs from age 45. The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) suggested allowing entry for West Bank Arabs from age 45 and unlimited entry for Israeli Arabs. The Shin Bet's argument is diametrically opposed to Ben-Gvir's: Blocking Palestinians from entering the Temple Mount is what could lead to violence.

Ben-Gvir fears entry to the Temple Mount will become a 10,000-man Hamas rally

Ben-Gvir said in a statement on Saturday evening, "It is forbidden in any way to allow the entry of residents from the 'Palestinian' authority into Israeli territory. It cannot be that abducted women are being raped in Gaza, and Israel will allow a celebration of the victory of Hamas on the Temple Mount. The positions of some of the security officials who recommend approving the massive entry of Arab residents of the West Bank to the Temple Mount shows that they learned nothing from October 7."

Interview: Lebanese Israeli advocate on US colleges post-Oct. 7: ‘Many don’t see Israelis as humans’
A taste.
[IsraelTimes] Embodying the mosaic of Israeli society, Jonathan Elkhoury, an Israeli of Christian Lebanese origin, is on the front line of the Jewish state’s public diplomacy.

Jonathan Elkhoury is one of the most prominent non-Jewish advocates for Israel on the international scene. Hailing from a Lebanese Christian family, he moved to Israel in 2001 at age nine as a refugee during the relocation of the South Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
Army, which fought alongside the IDF in the First Lebanon War. Today, Elkhoury lives in Haifa. As a Christian, Lebanese and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he is a self-described minorities’ rights advocate, and has been active since 2017 as a speaker at public diplomacy events and on social media to explain to the world the diversity and complexity that characterizes modern Israel.

[IsraelTimes] Manar al-Sharif tells ToI the majority of Gazooks don’t back terror group; says Oct. 7 was unsurprising but there’s no vision for a better future in the fighting against Israel

Hamas endangers you too
[Ynet] We Israelis have almost become accustomed to terrorist acts and missile attacks on our cities.

But this — this is something different: Entire Kibbutz occupied by murderous terrorists. In our sovereign state. Thousands of terrorists in our homes. People begging for help to no avail. Television reporters send out their cry.

A one-month-old baby trapped with her mother for 27 hours in a shelter, the mother doing everything possible to stop her baby from crying or they will be found and killed by the terrorists outside. Terrified toddlers silently hiding, already familiar with the dangers of lurking death. Bringing to mind the Holocaust stories of a young girl asking her mother if it is OK to cry already.

Old people burned alive. Young women and girls being raped. More than 200 civilians kidnapped and held captive, among those many now-orphaned babies.

These are NOT freedom fighters. These are the worst kind of war criminals. HAMAS is ISIS. HAMAS TERRORISTS are NAZIS.

They burned down houses with people still in them, and while escaping the fire they murdered or kidnapped them. Babies. Holocaust survivors. Women. An autistic girl with her grandmother.

They forced a 17-year-old boy to pretend to be in trouble, so that when people opened their door to assist him they killed both the boy and the helpers.
And the fact that they're the favorite children of the "Western Elites" tells you that these "Elites" have in store for you. Remember: "they always come for the Jews first", but never stop there. In fact, they make no secret of the fact that they want 90% of humanity gone.

#1  What does America's overclass think of the rest of us? The short answer is "not much." They think ordinary people's splurging on natural resources is destroying the planet and needs to be cut back forcefully. And that the government needs to stamp down on ordinary people enjoying luxuries that, in their view, should be reserved for the top elites.

Americans, IMO, don't appreciate to what extent American "Elites" worldview is shaped by their EUropean counterparts.

#2  Pretty much the point of the Founder's vision is that your rights to everything up to and including existing comes from God. It's not up to anyone, elected, appointed, anointed or self-deluded to interfere in that.

Oh, unless we need to hang you for murder. Then, I would still point out the execution scene from In Cold Blood:

Reporter, witnessing the hangings: "Does the executioner have a name?"

Another witness, presumably a prison, court or law enforcement official: "Yeah. 'We the People..."

Redeeming hostages: What does Judaism really say?
[IsraelTimes] BLUF: In the Old Testament, the response of Israel to kidnapping was to raise an army and smite the kidnappers until they gave up the captive(s). During the Exilic period, ransoms were supposed to be paid only if they were not exorbitant, so as to not encourage more kidnapping. Therefore the claim that Jewish law says Israel must pay any price to get back the hostages is not true.
Israel’s hostage dilemma is one of the hardest the country has ever faced. Among the calls to free them "at any price" is the claim that "pidyon shvuyim" (ransoming hostages) is the highest Jewish value. A closer look at this issue in the Jewish tradition shows a far more nuanced approach.

First, the Bible itself has no specific commandment regarding payment to gain the release of hostages — this despite the fact that the Torah has several other commandments regarding the conduct of war (even not to unnecessarily cut down trees!). In fact, the three "examples" of hostage-taking do show a clear pattern: fight the hostage takers until release is achieved. In Genesis 14:12-16, Abraham endangered himself by going to war against the "Four Kings" who had captured his cousin Lot, and succeeded to free Lot from captivity. Then in Numbers 21:1-3, the Canaanite king of Arad captured a number of Israelites; the latter’s response was to completely destroy those cities. Interestingly, the Bible there does not mention whether the captured Israelites were freed or died in the battle. Third, in Samuel I, chap. 30, the Amalekites invaded Zyklog, the city where David resided at the time, and captured the women (among others), including David’s two wives. The result: David took his small army and killed almost all the Amalekites, successfully saving the women.

#1  Just look who joins the families of the kidnapped - demanding deal at any price, it'll answer all your questions.

#2  To me it seems to say that HamAss needs to pay any price until they give them back. I'm fine with the extermination of HamAss and everyone that supports them.

Fringe Science: SSRI Antidepressants Drive Shrimp to Suicide, Are Based on Pseudoscience, and Potentially Contribute to Mass Shootings
[ArmageddonProse] Here we will cover a trio of interrelated stories:

· Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants severely disrupt shrimp neurological function and cause them to essentially kill themselves

· The “serotonin deficiency” theory behind depression is now clinically debunked, rendering the entire theoretical antidepressant mechanism of SSRIs mute – although they continue to generate generous profits for pharmaceutical firms nonetheless

· The majority of mass shooters in the United States are subsequently found to have been taking antidepressants, which often goes unremarked upon in the pharmaceutical industry-controlled media for obvious reasons

#5  I would like to know how the shrimp suicided. Stop eating? There could be other reasons for that. Were provided with predators to avoid and were deemed not serious about avoiding being eaten? Seems a bit subjective. Jumped into the scampi of their own volition? That last one I could buy.
