ISIS to launch TV station based in Sirte: report
[Libya Herald] ISIS, also know as the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
and Daash, is to launch a satellite TV station called Tawheed, broadcasting propaganda from Sirte.

An official page for the new station which has appeared on social media says that it will be transmitting a "call for uniformity to all parts of the world".

The page claims that Tawheed will broadcast messages from various religious figures.

Mustafa Zand, a leader of the Libyan Popular National Movement, a group with strong ties to the former regime and which was banned from taking part in elections in 2012, has claimed two other television channels are under the direction of the co-called Islamic State.

Speaking on the Egyptian programme Cairo Today, Zand alleged that stations in Sabratha and Derna as well as Sirte were already controlled by the Takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed...
group.

With Takfiri camps near both Sabratha and Sirte, the two towns are viewed as increasingly Islamist strongholds. However,
there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened...
holy warrior groups in the towns have not publicly declared their allegiance to ISIS or its leader His Supreme Immensity, Caliph of the Faithful and Galactic Overlord, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
...formerly merely the head of ISIL and a veteran of the Bagram jailhouse. Looks like a new messiah to bajillions of Moslems, like just another dead-eyed mass murder to the rest of us...
.

Derna's Shoura Council of Islamic Youth is said to have aligned itself with Daesh. While the group has been responsible for a string of public executions in Derna and has secured control of the town's courts, it does not hold the balance of power there.

Last month festivities between the Shoura Council and Abu Saleem Martyr's brigade left at least six dead as the two militias battled for control of Derna.

Egypt police to quell university protests
[ARABNEWS] Security officials say police backed by armored vehicles have stormed the campuses of at least two prominent Egyptian universities to quell anti-government protests by students.

Sunday's largest rallies took place at Cairo and the Al-Azhar universities. They were organized by supporters of ousted President Muhammad Mursi.

Student protest front man Youssef Salhen said protesters clashed briefly with police outside Al-Azhar.

A security official said at least six people were locked away
Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un!
at Al-Azhar, where police fired tear gas. He spoke anonymously because he wasn't authorized to speak to the media.

Authorities have intensified security at universities nationwide to prevent the resurgence of student protests. Last year, at least 16 students were killed.

Bahrain opposition to boycott November polls
Bahrain's opposition groups on Saturday announced a boycott of the upcoming parliamentary elections planned for November. Four opposition groups, including the main Al Wefaq, announced the decision that was taken after a joint meeting.
Since the opposition mostly represents Iranian catspaws this is good news...
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa set elections for a new 40-seat lower house of parliament for November 22. Municipal elections will be held simultaneously.

In May, the the Democratic Opposition Parties (NDOP) announced that it would boycott elections if political situations in Bahrain was not improved. The representatives of the opposition had said that the boycott would not be limited to the upcoming elections, but would apply also to any future election if political goals were not achieved.

They vowed to continue with their peaceful means to achieve their demands.

With this announcement, the election will be dominated by pro-government political societies.

China-Japan-Koreas
S. Korea deploys more weapons to border regions
SEOUL -- The South Korean military said Monday it has deployed additional weapons to islands near the tense western maritime border to better deal with North Korea's growing threats.

The disputed sea border remains a powder keg with the two Koreas fighting bloody battles there in 1999, 2002 and 2009. Drawn by the U.S.-led United Nations Command at the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, the NLL acts as the de facto sea border between the two Koreas, but Pyongyang does not recognize the border.

"To strengthen preparedness against the North's surprise attacks on and occupation of border islands in the Yellow Sea, (the military) has additionally dispatched Chiron Man missiles and armored vehicles in the regions," the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said in a report, citing the country's portable surface-to-air missiles.

"The military devised a timetable on how to respond to North Korea's possible provocations after the reassessment of its recent military buildup and attack patterns," the JCS said, without elaborating further.

To deter possible North Korea's provocations in case of South Korean civic groups' anti-Pyongyang campaign, the Seoul military "has maintained a tight readiness posture and equipped its front-line units with 155-millimeter self-propelled artillery to replace 105mm towed ones," the JCS noted.

With a goal to deter North Korea's provocations "in a pre-emptive and proactive fashion and to ensure victory at an early stage," the military has stepped up surveillance "in a closer cooperation with the United States," it added.

N.Korea to Annihilate Source of Propaganda Leaflets
North Korea in a wire message to Cheong Wa Dae on Saturday warned it has launched a military operation to "annihilate" the source of propaganda leaflets being floated across the border by activists here.

The message came a day after the North fired heavy machine guns at helium balloons carrying the leaflets. They had been launched by two activist groups and carried leaflets denouncing the North Korean regime, US$1 bills, mini radios and other items.
Excellent! Make the Norks waste ammo on helium balloons. Balloons are cheap. I'd buy them at Costco and set them loose over the North by the thousands. Each would have a coupon good for one choco-pie when presented after the death of Pudgy and the reunification of the country...
A senior government source here on Sunday said North Korea's National Defense Commission wired the warning message to the presidential National Security Council to protest against the leaflets and express its determination to stop them.

It is unclear what North Korea has in mind in order to "annihilate" the source of the propaganda leaflets.

The government initially kept the North Korean message under wraps, apparently for fear of straining inter-Korean relations ahead of high-level talks scheduled for late this month or early November.

On Sunday, a North Korean spokesman also threatened "crushing physical blows of higher intensity" should the leaflets continue to be flown into the North.
This clearly annoys the North. That's why it must continue.
The spokesman added the North has launched a military operation to destroy the balloons and break up attempts to distribute the leaflets.

The government here believes the North will probably confine itself to shooting down the balloons rather than risk actually firing across the border at the activists.

On Friday, shots were reportedly heard just across the border in other parts of North Korea where propaganda leaflets were flown.

Fat Boy Absent on Important Anniversary
Speculation over the health and political status of Pudgy Kim Jong-un intensified Friday, as the North Korean leader remained out of public view on an important anniversary for the secretive, communist nation.

Kim, thought to be about 31 years old, has not been seen in public since he attended a concert on Sept. 3, prompting speculation he is suffering from serious health problems, was sidelined in a coup and that it's possible his sister has taken over. The longer he remains out of sight, the more uncertainly grows about the stability of a regime based on hereditary rule.
Shot in a coup. That's the rumor the CIA should be spreading...
State media, which normally provide a near-daily account of the activities of the North Korean leader, have offered few clues, except for mentioning in passing that the leader is experiencing "discomfort."

Some analysts say an important hint was offered Friday, the 69th anniversary of the founding of the ruling Korean Workers Party. For the past two years, Pudge Kim has marked the event with a midnight visit to Pyongyang's Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the mausoleum of his father, Kim Jong-il, and grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

But Kim's name did not appear on a list of dignitaries who made the annual visit to the mausoleum. The list, published by the North's Korean Central News Agency, did say that a flower basket with Kim's name was left at the site.

South Korea's government on Friday insisted Kim appears to be "ruling normally."
Define 'normal' for someone who barking mad...
Unification Ministry spokesman Lim Byeong-cheol also said Seoul has no information that could confirm the state of his health. Lim said the assessment is based on greetings sent to Seoul officials by a senior North Korean delegation that made a surprise visit to the closing of the Asian games in South Korea last week.

The delegation was led by Hwang Pyong-so, believed to be the new number one Kim's number two, reinforcing unfounded speculation that Kim may have been politically sidelined. Others said it proved there have been no changes in leadership.

"When the high-level officials visited South Korea, Suet Face Kim Jong-un sent through them a message to South Korean President Park Geun-hye," Lim said. "Based on this and information from the [North Korean] Army General Political Bureau, and North Korea continued coverage, it appears that Kim Jong-un's control is stable."

South Korean Defense Minister Han Min-koo said earlier this week that intelligence indicated the North Korean leader was staying "at a certain place north of Pyongyang." He offered no other details.

Analyst Kang Chol-hwan, with the North Korea Strategy Center in Seoul says it is not unprecedented for Kim Jong-un to disappear from public view while recuperating from injury.

"Kim Il-sung was out of sight after he had surgery to remove a tumor, and Kim Jong-il was absent after he was injured while riding a horse," he said.

The possibility of a shakeup in North Korea's leadership he says would not be good for the security of the region, the analyst says, explaining that if North Korea tries to improve inter-Korean relations, leadership must be stable.
Or blown away. Either works. If they're gone South Korea and China could draw a new border and make things work.
In July, the corpulent portly Kim was seen awkwardly limping across a stage at a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the death of his grandfather, the country's founding president.

Shortly thereafter, a state media documentary mentioned in passing that the leader, regarded by many North Koreans as an almost divine figure, was experiencing unspecified "discomfort."

South Korean media have reported Kim suffers from gout -- which runs in the family -- in addition to high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes, all related to obesity and his reported fondness for imported cheese. Earlier this week, VOA reported some analysts believe he may be recovering from some kind of sucking chest wound leg surgery.

Europe
Denmark Parties: Turn Asylum Seekers Back At The Airport
[BREITBART] Two opposition parties in Denmark's parliament have come together to express their opposition to the Government's policies on accepting refugees from abroad, demanding that rather than greeting them with open arms the Nordic nation sends them back.
Think of that! They don't want their country colonized anymore.
Denmark's government has just revised the number of migrants expected to arrive in the country from 10,000 to 20,000 for this year, a significant amount for a country with a population smaller than London, reports theLocal.dk. The change sparked the counter-proposals from the two parties, who oppose what they see as mismanagement by the nation's ruling Social Democrat party.

One of the groups involved is the Danish People's Party, who campaign on a platform to protect Denmark's traditions, monarchy, and church. The party believes taking away the right to residence is the key to discouraging the influx of people from war zones in Africa and the Middle East. A front man said: "I think that with one stroke, this would make Denmark incredibly uninteresting for asylum seekers and therefore believe that the asylum figures would plummet when they can't receive a residence permit in Denmark".

The Liberal Alliance, who also support restricting refugees access to Denmark are a new Libertarian party founded in 2007. Although they only have nine members of parliament, they have shown no restraint in calling for change, saying the most efficient use of Danish taxpayer krone is to set up refugee camps closer to their nations of origin: "Figuratively speaking, they should be turned around at the airport, put on a plane and sent to a refugee camp in the area of where they came from".

The Grand Turk
Turkey to Susan Rice: no deal
ISTANBUL -- A day after Susan Rice American officials said on the Sunday morning talk shows Turkey had agreed to allow its air bases for operations against the Islamic State, which they described as a deal that represented a breakthrough in tense negotiations, Turkish officials on Monday said there was no deal yet, and that talks were still underway.

The Turkish comments represented another miscommunication between the United States and its longtime ally Turkey, as President Obama pushes to strengthen an international coalition against the militants that control a large area of both Syria and Iraq, by securing a greater role for Turkey.
Obama is simply trying to deflect blame until after the mid-term election. Turkey simply wants the Kurds dead. I'm sure they can reach an agreement...
The Turks have insisted that any broad support for the coalition is dependent on the mission’s going beyond just the Islamic State, also called ISIS or ISIL, to also target the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad, which Turkey has long opposed and blames for creating the conditions that led to the rise of the extremists within Syria and Iraq.

"We approach this issue from a comprehensive perspective, including safe havens and a no-fly zone to be established in the region," said an official in the office of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the news media.
Wuss.
The official, who said that no deal over the use of air bases had been completed, added, "talks, therefore, continue as we look into things we can do together while covering our asses all these aspects."

As part of going after Mr. Assad's government, the Turks have insisted on a no-fly zone in northern Syria, near the border with Turkey, that would create a safe zone to arm and train moderate rebels fighting against Mr. Assad and where an opposition government could take root. The United States has largely opposed this -- although some within the government, especially at the State Department, believe the idea should be given serious consideration -- because it would broaden Mr. Obama's stated objective of avoiding blame focusing only on the destruction of ISIS.
The Turks have an air force. They can provide the no-fly zone. It would be good operational training for them.
The apparent disagreement between officials of both countries seemed to reflect unresolved differences, still to be negotiated, on the exact uses of Turkish air bases, whether for logistics or airstrikes. Turkey, a NATO member, already allows the use of its base at Incirlik, in southern Turkey, to fly surveillance drones.

U.S. Troops to Use Bases in Turkey

bully boyz in Syria and Iraq, Defense Department officials said Sunday.

B.O. regime officials have urged the Turkish government to play a more significant role in fighting the turbans who have seized large parts of Iraq and Syria and driven refugees into Turkey.

An American military team will arrive in Turkey this week to work out details of the training program and discuss what kind of missions can be flown from the Turkish bases, administration officials said.

#3  Turkey is denying American claims that it has granted permission for the U.S. to use its military bases to launch strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

National security adviser Susan Rice said Sunday on NBC that Turkey agreed to let the U.S. use its bases and territory, including the Incirlik air base in southern Turkey, to train moderate Syrian rebels.

However, on Monday, Turkish officials denied reaching such a deal, according to local media reports that said both sides were continuing to discuss the use of the military bases and Turkey's airspace.

Turkey has been reluctant to join the U.S.-led coalition against ISIS, fearing it would strengthen Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, but U.S. officials have upped the pressure in recent days.

Turkish officials recently passed a motion allowing foreign forces to use its bases in the fight against ISIS. Separately, U.S. officials said that Turkey has agreed to train up to 4,000 Syrian rebels on Turkish soil, according to The Press Agency that Cannot Be Named.

Home Front: WoT
Did members of terrorist group cross Mexican border? Answer remains unclear
[MCCLATCHYDC] A series of statements this week from B.O. regime officials have left a murky picture about whether four people caught last month crossing the United States border from Mexico had ties to terrorist groups.

U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, raised the issue last month when he said he had heard that individuals with terrorist ties to the Middle East had been caught crossing the border. Other Republican members of Congress have made similar claims since.

Responding to news reports about those remarks, Marsha Catron, the Department of Homeland Security's press secretary, said Wednesday in a prepared statement that the suggestion that individuals with ties to the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
, also known as ISIL, had crossed the border was "categorically false."

"DHS continues to have no credible intelligence to suggest terrorist organizations are actively plotting to cross the southwest border," the statement said.

Then on Thursday, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson told an audience in Washington that four people had in fact been apprehended, but that their "supposed link" to terrorism was "a claim by the individuals themselves" that they were members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, which Johnson described as "an organization that is actually fighting against ISIL and defended Kurdish territory in Iraq."

But while the four individuals might not have claimed membership in the Islamic State, the admission that they had claimed membership in the Kurdistan Workers' Party raised more questions. The workers' party, more widely known by its Kurdish initials as the PKK, has been on the State Department's list of foreign terrorist organizations since 1997.

"Obviously, they're a terrorist organization," State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said on Friday. Harf declined, however, to comment on Johnson's characterization of the group, saying she had not read his remarks.

India-Pakistan
Indo-Pak border tension: UN urged to resolve crisis
[ARABNEWS] Indian firing across a disputed border with Pakistain has killed 12 civilians and injured 52 in Pakistain so far this month, according to a Sunday blurb from the Foreign Ministry.

Sartaj Aziz, the adviser to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf...
on national security and foreign affairs, said that officials from UNMOGIP, a UN observation team, were going to the disputed border to observe the ceasefire violations.

He also appealed to UN Secretary General the ephemeral Ban Ki-moon
... of whom it can be said to his credit that he is not Kofi Annan...
on Saturday for assistance in solving the long-running dispute with India over the status of Kashmire, according to the Sunday blurb.

Since becoming independent from Britannia in 1947, the two nuclear rivals have fought three wars, two over Kashmire.

Pakistain revived its demand for Kashmiris to be allowed to hold a plebiscite to decide the region's future, as called for by a UN resolution adopted in 1948. India has long opposed a plebiscite.

"For decades, Pakistain has been reminding the United Nations
...an idea whose time has gone...
and the international community to fulfill that promise, in the interest of durable peace and security in the region," Aziz said in his letter to Ban Ki-moon.

Kashmir dispute, a UN failure: Bilawal Bhutto
[DAWN] Pakistain Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Baby Bhutto Zardari
...Pak dynastic politician, son of Benazir Bhutto and grandon of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. As far as is known, Bilawal has no particular talents other than being pretty and being able to memorize political slogans, but he had the good luck to be born into the right family and he hasn't been assassinated yet...
on Sunday said the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
had failed to resolved the Kashmire dispute while, "the Kashmiri people continue to await the realisation of the promise the world made to them."

While addressing the National Youth Parliament's session, Bilawal criticised the UN saying that much of the hostility in the subcontinent was due to the unresolved Kashmire issue. He went on to say Kashmire was, "an example of the failure of the United Nations."

"We say it because we believe in the principles of international order, we believe in the fairness of the international world order that was created to respect human rights
When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much...
, to respect the right to self determination, and it was established to provide a just and fair world," he said.

The PPP chairman implored the world to listen to Pakistain and its people. "Pakistain's experience fighting terrorism, struggling for democracy and the brutal occupation of Kashmire show that had the world listened to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto
... 11th Prime Minister of Pakistain in two non-consecutive terms from 1988 until 1990 and 1993 until 1996. She was the daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, founder of the Pakistain People's Party, who was murdered at the instigation of General Ayub Khan. She was murdered in her turn by person or persons unknown while campaigning in late 2007. Suspects include, to note just a few, Baitullah Mehsud, General Pervez Musharraf, the ISI, al-Qaeda in Pakistain, and her husband, Asif Ali Zardari, who shows remarkably little curiosity about who done her in...
and Pakistain, today world peace would be more than just a dream."

on Sunday hinted at taking his party's 'Inqilab March' to other parts of the country, saying that his party "never believed in protests sitting at one place".

"A revolution has different phases," Qadri said adding, "It is a continuing process. Our first stop is Faislabad."

Giving today's rally the title of 'Inquilab in Faisalabad

', Qadri said the day would prove that the Islamabad sit-in has been successful. He did not elaborate as to how this success would be proven.

"We want to change the system, we had been suffering atrocities for more than 65 years," he said.

"The [Faislabad] rally will prove that the status quo cannot survive, corruption cannot survive and we will achieve Quaid-e-Azam's lost Pakistain."

While the PAT chief termed the Islamabad sit-in as a 'strong foundation', he urged his supporters to start building out from there.

Iraq
We enslaved Iraq's Izadi Kurd women, kids: ISIL

group has confirmed that the turbans enslaved and sold Izadi Kurd women and kiddies, says a magazine purportedly published by the terrorist group.

The latest issue of Dabiq magazine said on Sunday that the community's "enslaved" families are "now sold."

It added that Izadi women and kiddies were later divided according to their so-called "Shariah" amongst the turbans who had taken part in the attacks against the town of Sinjar in northern Iraq back in August as part of the terrorists' lightning advance across northern and western Iraq.

said the Izadi women and kiddies remained captive, adding that the group has "separated young women and teenage girls from their families and has forced some of them to marry its fighters."

The ISIL's August attacks displaced tens of thousands of people, including the elderly and children who perished while left stranded in the Sinjar Mountains.

The Dabiq magazine also quoted Mohammed al-Adnani, the ISIL front man, addressing those who do not follow their Takfiri rules, saying, "We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women."

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
'Only Half Of Donated Funds To Go Toward Gaza Reconstruction'
[IsraelTimes] Donors at an international conference Sunday promised $2.7 billion to rebuild the war-ravaged Gazoo Strip, but all of the key participants said their efforts would be futile without a permanent peace between Israel and the Paleostinians.

US-mediated talks broke down this summer before the 50-day war between Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, and Israel began -- the third since 2008 -- and it remains unclear how peace can come about.

Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende, who co-chaired the one-day meeting with Egypt, said pledges of $5.4 billion have been made, but that only half of that money would be "dedicated" to the reconstruction of the coastal strip.

Brende did not say what the other half of the funds would be spent on. Other delegates have spoken of budgetary support, boosting economic activity, emergency relief and other projects.

Meanwhile,
...back at the fist fight, Jake ducked another roundhouse, then parried with his left, then with his right, finally with his chin...
Israeli officials acknowledged Sunday that Israel failed to link international assistance for the rehabilitation of Gazoo after the summer's war to its central demand that Hamas disarm, as delegates representing some 50 nations and 20 regional and international organizations pledged billions to rebuild the Paleostinian enclave.

An Israeli official was quoted by Channel 2 admitting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's demand that Hamas give up its arms -- endorsed in principle by the US, EU and others at the end of the 50-day conflict -- had not prevailed as a condition for overseas funding to rehabilitate Gazoo. The funding for reconstruction, the official said, would flow so long as the ceasefire was maintained. Further development of Gazoo after such reconstruction, the official said, would be contingent on the demilitarization of the Strip.

Israeli officials noted that a mechanism had been agreed, with UN involvement, to ensure that international funding not be diverted to finance the rebuilding of Hamas's military capabilities. But sources quoted by Channel 10 expressed concern
...meaning the brow was mildly wrinkled, the eyebrows drawn slightly together, and a thoughtful expression assumed, not that anything was actually done or indeed that any thought was actually expended...
that such a mechanism would not hold firm, and the same TV report quoted sources in Gazoo as saying there was no practical way to control how such money would be spent. The head of the Israeli Air Force's Air Defense Command told The Times of Israel last week that Hamas has resumed rocket manufacturing in Gazoo.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said earlier Sunday that Gazoo reconstruction efforts would need the consent of Israel, which was not invited to the international conference in Cairo. "Gazoo cannot be rebuilt without the cooperation and participation of Israel," he said.

Neither Hamas nor the terror group Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
were invited to the Cairo conference. Hamas TV on Sunday aired footage of devastation in the Strip, including film of a building ostensibly collapsing this weekend in the heavily hit Shejaiya neighborhood. "If the reconstruction process means a new blockade," an unidentified Gazoo resident warned, reading from a prepared statement, "the people will rise and attain their rights by themselves." A Hamas official also declared in a televised address that "Israel's demise is closer than you think."

Organizers of the Cairo conference hope the pledges will be paid over a period of three years to aid reconstruction in the Gazoo Strip, which borders Israel and Egypt. Both countries have blockaded Gazoo since Hamas took power there in 2007, to prevent the terror group importing more weaponry.

Donors plan to funnel the aid through Abbas's Paleostinian Authority, and aim to bypass Hamas. However,
if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning...
Abbas and Hamas recently formed a national unity government which held its first Cabinet meeting in Gazoo last week.

Leading participants said the reconstruction of Gazoo cannot be carried out in isolation from efforts to revive Israeli-Paleostinian talks in search for a comprehensive and lasting peace agreement.

"We must not lose sight of the root causes of the recent hostilities: A restrictive occupation that has lasted almost half a century, the continued denial of Paleostinian rights and the lack of tangible progress in peace negotiations," said UN Secretary-General the ephemeral Ban Ki-moon
... of whom it can be said to his credit that he is not Kofi Annan...
, who later announced in a news conference that he planned to visit Israel, Gazoo and the West Bank on Tuesday.

"I call on all parties to come together to chart a clear course toward a just and final peace," Ban said. "Going back to the status quo is not an option; this is the moment for transformational change."

EU to provide 450 mln Euros for Gaza reconstruction
The European Union will provide 450 million euros ($571 million) for Gaza reconstruction following a war between Israel and the Hamas militant group, the Union's foreign policy head Catherine Ashton stated Sunday, RIA Novosti reported.

"The only durable solution to the situation in Gaza, which is in everyone's interest, is a political one. Our efforts for Gaza will be successful only if placed in the larger framework of our support to Palestine and our commitment to the peace process," Ashton said during the Gaza reconstruction conference in Cairo.
How much of the pledge is actually delivered?
Earlier, the Palestinian authorities asked the international community for $4 billion to reconstruct Gaza.

In June, Israel launched a military operation against the Hamas group in the Gaza Strip. According to UN data, the 50-day armed conflict claimed the lives of over 2,100 Palestinians and 71 Israelis. Palestinian authorities have estimated that over 60,000 residential buildings in Gaza were damaged by Israeli airstrikes.

In late August, the sides agreed on a truce mediated by the Egyptian government. The agreement envisaged Israel opening border crossings to allow humanitarian aid and construction materials to enter Gaza.
Which Gaza will use to prepare for the next war...

Kerry Pledges 212 Million Taxpayer Dollars as Boodle for Gaza
[NEWSWEEK] U.S. Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry
Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State...
called on Sunday for a renewed commitment to achieving Middle East peace, saying a lasting deal between Israel, the Paleostinians and all their neighbors could be achieved.

But prospects for a renewed grinding of the peace processor appeared dim as Kerry offered no specifics on how to restart negotiations in his speech to a Gazoo reconstruction conference in Cairo.

The last round of U.S.-brokered peace talks, presided over by Kerry, foundered in April over Israeli objections to a Paleostinian political unity pact including the Islamist Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, movement and Paleostinian opposition to unremitting Israeli settlement expansion.

Egypt's Sissi urges Israel to consider Arab peace initiative
[ARABNEWS] Egypt, which brokered a cease-fire between Israel and the Paleostinians in Gazoo after a 50-day war, used a reconstruction conference in Cairo on Sunday to call for a wider peace deal based on a 2002 Arab initiative.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi opened the meeting by calling for peace and putting the biggest Arab nation's weight behind the plan, put forward by Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. summit in Beirut in 2002.

"We should turn this moment into a real starting point to achieve a peace that secures stability and flourishing and renders the dream of coexistence a reality, and this is the vision of the Arab peace initiative," said Sissi.

The plan, rejected by Israel, offered full recognition of the Jewish state but only if it gave up all land seized in the 1967 Middle East war and agreed to a "just solution" for Paleostinian refugees.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Now-preggers teen Austrian IS poster girls want to come home; Officials say "Impossible"
The two Austrian teenage girls who became "poster girls" for jihad in Syria are now desperate to come home after getting completely disillusioned with their new lifestyles.

The motivations of the two Bosnian girls are unclear but before leaving, they had contact with Chechen youths, and visited a mosque in Vienna's second district. Samra Kesinovic, 17, and her friend Sabina Selimovic, 15, who grew up in the Austrian capital Vienna, were persuaded to head to Syria and take part in the holy war in April. The girls had started lecturing schoolmates about their lifestyle and when they left Vienna in April they left behind a note telling their parents: "Don’t look for us. We will serve Allah – and we will die for him".

Police in their homeland Austria say that the girls' social media accounts were taken over and manipulated to broadcast what they now think were fake messages about the life they were having, and using them as poster girls to encourage other young girls to head to Syria.

Once they arrived it is believed they were married off to local fighters and both the girls are thought to be pregnant. Security service insiders have told Austrian media that the girls have managed to contact their families to say they have had enough, and want to come home. However they warn that there is almost now no chance that they will be able to leave their new lives after they became internationally famous and the images were shared all round the world.

Spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Karl-Heinz Grundboeck, said however that decision may be too late.

He said: "The main problem is about people coming back to Austria. Once they leave it is almost impossible."

The news comes despite reports which surfaced last month that one of the girls may have been killed. However, these reports were never officially confirmed and the Interior Ministry could not ascertain if they were correct.

Anti-IS war being led by a woman
[ARABNEWS] A Kurdish woman fighter is leading the battle against Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
holy warriors in the Syrian battleground town of Kobani, a monitoring group and activists said Sunday.

"Mayssa Abdo, known by the nom-de-guerre of Narin Afrin, is commanding the YPG in Kobani along with Mahmud Barkhodan," Syrian Observatory for Human Rights head Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP.

The secular and left-leaning Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) group has been defending Kobani, on the border with Turkey, since Islamic State (IS) fighters launched an assault on Sept. 16.

The group, the de facto army of the Kurdish regions of north and northeast Syria, is the armed wing of the powerful Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD).

As is the custom for Kurdish fighters, Mayssa, 40, uses a pseudonym, with hers coming from the Afrin region where she was born that is located like Kobani in Aleppo province. "Those who know her say she is cultivated, intelligent and phlegmatic," said Mustefa Ebdi, a Kurdish activist from Kobani.

"She cares for the mental state of the fighters and takes interest in their problems," he said.

Women traditionally form a major part of Kurdish fighting forces, and they are well represented among Kurdish forces in neighboring Turkey and Iraq. On Oct. 5, young Kurdish woman fighter Dilar Gencxemis blew herself up outside Kobani in an attack which reportedly killed dozens of IS murderous Moslems.
