Job wanted: Terrorist touts jihad as LinkedIn skill
[IsraelTimes]. Professional networking site believes account is fake; Taliban capo wanted by Pakistain for previous attacks

A LinkedIn account allegedly belonging to a senior Taliban capo was deleted after it was used to recruit gunnies to the murderous Moslem group, the British Telegraph newspaper reported.

The profile for Ehsanullah Ehsan
...formerly the front man for the Pak Taliban, now the lips and tongue of the Jamaatul Ahrar splinter group in Mohmand Agency...
, front man for Taliban splinter group TTP Jammat-ul-Ahrar, listed his skills as jihad and journalism and described him as self employed and working in media production.

By the time it was taken down, the account boasted 69 connections, an indication of the number people in ones network, not dissimilar to a business contact. The profile listed details of his school, employment history and language skills as well as a photograph.

Ehsan is wanted by Pak authorities for his role in multiple terror attacks, including the attempted 2012 liquidation of then-15-year-old human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
activist Malala Yousafzai
...a Pashtun blogger and advocate for girls' education from Mingora, in Swat. She started blogging at age 11-12. She was 15 when a Talib boarded her school bus and shot her in the head in 2012. She was evacuated to a hospital in Britain and the Pak Taliban vowed to kill her and her father. Among other awards, she received the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, which she deserved more than Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Yasser Arafat, or Rigoberta Menchu...
, who was awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for her role in documenting Taliban atrocities and campaigning for womens rights.

The Taliban chief currently has a $1 million (NIS 3.96 million) bounty on his head.

After deleting Ehsans account, a LinkedIn spokesperson questioned its veracity, given that the IP address of the account, which points to where in the world it was set up, suggested it may have been fabricated.

[I] cant say for certain that it is someone else But I can say that our security team has a high degree of confidence that it is a fake account, which is reason enough to restrict it, The Telegraph was told.

After a stint as front man for Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) the Pakistain wing of the Taliban Ehsan and his fellow commanders went on to found TTP Jammat-ul-Ahrar, a terror group that operates from tribal areas in the Pakistain-Afghanistan border
...also known as Pashtunistan, home of ignorance, poverty, and automatic weapons...
zone.

TTP Jammat-ul-Ahrar grabbed credit for a number of attacks over the second half of 2014, including a November 2014 suicide kaboom on the India-Pakistain border that killed over 60 people, according to local officials.

'Last Chance' Libya Peace Talks Start in Geneva
[An Nahar] Peace talks between Libya's warring factions kicked off in Geneva Wednesday in what their United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
mediator warned could be a last chance to prevent all-out chaos in the oil-rich country.

The North African nation has been gripped by deepening conflict since the overthrow of dictator Moamar Qadaffy in a NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions...
-backed uprising in 2011, with rival governments and powerful militias battling for control of key cities and the nation's oil wealth.

It has taken the U.N. months to get the opposing sides back to the negotiating table after a single round of talks in September.

"It's going to be a long process, it's going to be difficult," the U.N. special envoy for Libya, Bernardino Leon, said.

"We are not expecting to have a breakthrough tomorrow or the day after tomorrow," said Leon, who is overseeing the dialogue in the Swiss city.

"There is a gap between the parties, which is becoming more complicated with more fighting on the ground."

Analysts warn that the negotiations are unlikely to have any real impact unless the leaders of all the gangs -- some of whom are absent from the negotiations -- become directly involved.

#1  Is this the last chance for peace or the last chance for the UN drones to drain the expense fund before funding is cut?

They aren't going to accomplish anything except run up some heavenly hotel bills and keep the more expensive restaurants open late.

Come to think of it, there is that nifty seldom used League of Nations complex thingee on the outskirts of Geneva. Do you suppose we could suggest they check out the lease and have a property inspection?

UAE Summons Lebanese Ambassador over Nasrallah's 'Hostile' Remarks
[An Nahar] The United Arab Emirates summoned on Wednesday the Lebanese ambassador to the Gulf country and handed him an official letter of objection on Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
chief His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...
's recent remarks against Bahrain.

The Foreign Ministry strongly denounces the hostile, provocative and rejected remarks, which clearly violate the affairs of Bahrain, incite violence and terrorism and destabilize the country, Tariq Ahmed al-Hidan, Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations, said in a statement.

He held the Lebanese government fully responsible for Nasrallah's statements, demanding it to clarify its stance and condemn the hostile remarks.

The Lebanese government should take the necessary legal measures to guarantee that such incidents will not happen again.

The Gulf Cooperation Council on Saturday criticized Nasrallah's stance as well, accusing him of inciting violence and discord.

On Friday, Nasrallah noted that top Bahraini dissident Sheikh Ali Salman, who was tossed in the slammer
Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit!
recently by authorities, has never called for toppling the regime and he did not incite to violence.

The authorities in Bahrain will realize that they are acting in a foolish way. They can imprison most of the Bahraini people but that will only stop the protests on the streets and they will not be able to stop the protests in prisons, said Nasrallah.

The reason behind the peaceful approach is not the inability to send weapons or fighters to Bahrain, but rather the fact that the holy mans, politicians and people in Bahrain are preventing that and seeking a peaceful solution, Hizbullahs leader added.

Radical Imam Anjem Choudary Calls Charlie Hebdo Front Page 'Act Of War'
[BREITBART] Anjem Choudary
...Self-proclaimed holy man who used to work for Omar Mohammed Bakdri as spokesman for al-Muhajiroun. Anjem is a loathesome little attention prostitute who is to be heard cheering for the home team anytime anybody with a turban manages to slaughter a group of unarmed infidels. Anjem was born in the UK in 1967 and is, as you would expect, of Pakistaini descent. The Ghost of Dante is of the opinion that when he goes to hell his knees will be broken once a month...
has called the latest front cover of Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
an act of war against Moslems. The magazine features Mohammed crying and holding a Je Suis Charlie sign, with the headline roughly translating to Everything is forgiven.

But Choudary was unimpressed with the offering from the remaining staff at Charlie Hebdo claiming it was ridiculing Mohammed. He said the magazine was attacking the Moslem leaders personality, and that publishing it was extremely serious.

This is the second intervention by Choudary since Islamic snuffies launched the devastating machine gun attack on Charlie Hebdo that left 17 dead and many more injured. Soon after the murders, he issued an open letter in which he said: Contrary to popular misconception, Islam does not mean peace but rather means submission to the commands of Allah alone. Therefore, Moslems do not believe in the concept of freedom of expression, as their speech and actions are determined by divine revelation and not based on peoples desires.

He claimed the latest front cover was blatant provocation and claimed insulting Islam and Moslems is part of the war that is taking place. He went on to demand that Western societies be sensible and sensitive to the emotions and the feelings of the Moslems, and accused governments of refusing to nip it in the bud.

His comments came as Charlie Hebdo announced they had sold out of their first million copies of the post-attack edition. This had been widely expected and the publishers had made provision to print a total of three million copies, using the printing press at Le Monde. The further two million copies are now being printed.

Europe
Belgian Bookshops Face Threats for Stocking Charlie Hebdo
[An Nahar] Four bookshops in Brussels have received letters warning of reprisals if they distribute the controversial first issue of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
since last week's attacks, Belgian authorities said.

Copies of the satirical magazine, featuring the Prophet Mohammed on its cover holding a "Je Suis Charlie" sign under the headline "All is forgiven", are due to go on sale in Belgium on Thursday.

"I recommend that you do not spread these cartoons of our beloved Mohammed in this despicable Charlie Hebdo magazine, at the risk of reprisals against you and your horrible business," the letters said, according to the Phlegmish newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws.

Belgian prosecutors said they were taking the letters sent to the bookshops late on Tuesday "very seriously" and were analyzing video footage and making other inquiries to find whoever wrote them.

"In the current context, this type of act is intolerable," front man Laurens Dumont was quoted as saying by the Belga news agency.

Demand for the latest Charlie Hebdo was high in partly-French speaking Belgium, with the 30,000 that are due to go on sale there expected to sell out quickly.

The first print run has already sold out in La Belle France.

News of the threats came as reports emerged that French Islamist gunman Amedy Coulibaly bought most of the weapons used in last week's Gay Paree attacks in Belgium.

Muslim Call To Prayer To Be Chanted Every Friday At Duke University
[BREITBART] In a new initiative to promote religious pluralism, Duke University will broadcast the Moslem call to prayer every Friday on campus. The call to prayeralso known as adhanwill be chanted by the Duke Moslem Student Association.

The prayer itself is set to start this Friday at 1:00 p.m. and will be broadcast and amplified from the Chapel bell tower on campus.

As campuses continue to foster political correctness, they use it as a way to favor religions seemingly at war with Western Civilization and Judeo-Christian beliefs.

Frequently, we see students fighting for their religious freedom on campusespecially Christians. We hope that Duke University will also allow equal opportunity for Christian students to gather to pray and respect their religious freedom.

Duke University has a long history of fostering political correctness and hypersensitivity, from Chick-Fil-As removal from campus, to hosting a the national Paleostinian Solidarity Movement conference, and to canceling a pro-life event in their Womens Center on campus.

Young Americas Foundation called and emailed Duke Universitys associate dean of religious life, Christy Lohr Sapp, for comment but has yet to hear back. Ashley Pratte, spokeswoman for Young Americas Foundation, spoke with the associate deans assistant who confirmed this story.

The Grand Turk
Netanyahu Returns Fire Over Erdogan Jibe on Paris Rally
[An Nahar] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday hit back at Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him...
who blasted him this week for "daring" to attend an anti-terror solidarity march in Gay Paree.

"I believe his shameful remarks must be repudiated by the international community, because the war against terror will only succeed if it's guided by moral clarity," Netanyahu's office quoted him as telling visiting leaders of the U.S. pro-Israel lobby AIPAC.

Netanyahu, as well as Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, joined other world leaders at Sunday's Gay Paree march in memory of 17 people killed in Islamist terror attacks last week, among them four Jews.

At a news conference in Ankara on Monday with Paleostinian president the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
, Erdogan said he could "hardly understand how he (Netanyahu) dared to go" to the massive march in the French capital.

Home Front: WoT
Mother of teen to IS: 'Leave our children alone!'
[ARABNEWS] The suburban reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,...
mother of a 19-year-old American facing a terrorist charge for trying to join the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
Death Eaters has accused the group of brainwashing youths into joining their ranks via social media. And she declared, Leave our children alone!

Mohammed Hamzah Khans mother cried softly as she read her statement in a lobby at a Chicago federal courthouse. Minutes earlier, her son had pleaded not guilty
"Wudn't me."
to attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist group. It carries a maximum 15-year prison term.

Zarine Khan, flanked by her husband, Shafi, said her family felt compelled to speak out in the wake of unspeakable acts of horror in Gay Paree last week that killed 17. One gunman reportedly pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, while two others cited Al-Qaeda.

The venom spewed by these groups and the violence committed by them ... are completely at odds with our Islamic faith, the 41-year-old mother said. She added, We condemn the brainwashing and recruiting of children through the use of social media and the Internet.

Khan, who lived with his parents, was locked away
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
in October at OHare International Airport as he sought to board an international flight in Chicago on the first leg of a plan to sneak into Syria to join Islamic State myrmidons, court documents allege.

Weeks later, prosecutors revealed that Khans 17-year-old sister and 16-year-old brother were also detained at the airport and allegedly also aspired to live under Islamic State control. The younger siblings were interviewed by the FBI but havent been charged. According to court documents, the girl once used the Twitter handle @DeathIsTheeNear to send a favorable tweet about a video of beheadings placing a smiley emoticon in the text. The younger siblings havent been charged.

Investigators later found a three-page letter in Khans bedroom in which he apologized to his parents for leaving so abruptly. But he added he felt obliged to go from disgust with Western society and from anger over US-backed bombing of Islamic State fighters, court filings alleged.

This nation is openly against Islam and Moslems, he wrote.

Malala attack case to be heard in military court
[DAWN] The federal government has decided to refer two high profile terror cases to military courts for the speedy trial of suspects involved.

The first case is the attack on Nobel Peace Award winner, child activist Malala Yousafzai
...a Pashtun blogger and advocate for girls' education from Mingora, in Swat. She started blogging at age 11-12. She was 15 when a Talib boarded her school bus and shot her in the head in 2012. She was evacuated to a hospital in Britain and the Pak Taliban vowed to kill her and her father. Among other awards, she received the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, which she deserved more than Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Yasser Arafat, or Rigoberta Menchu...
, which would be heard at a military court in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar

when it formally starts functioning.

Formalities are being processed by legal experts at the Federal Law Ministrythe case will soon be sent from an anti-terrorism court to a military court, a federal government source told Dawn.com.

The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) had attacked Malala in 2012 as she was returning from her school in the Mingora town of Swat

valley.

She survived after being airlifted to Britannia for treatment and recovered from her life-threatening wounds.

The other high profile case is the terrorist attack on mountaineers in June 2013 at the Nanga Parbat base camp, which would also be referred to a military court in Gilgit.

Gunmen dressed as paramilitary police had killed ten mountaineers in the attack.

Govt approves setting up of military courts in GB, Azad Kashmir
[DAWN] The federal government decided on Tuesday to extend the jurisdiction of the newly-constituted military courts to Azad Jammu and Kashmire (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

It was approved that the GB and AJK councils would also adopt the 21st Constitutional Amendment as well as the amendment in the Army Act, to facilitate the formation of military courts in those areas, read a press statement issued after the conclusion of a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf...
regarding the implementation of the National Action Plan to counter terrorism and extremism.

Asked if there were any legal lacunas involved in extending the ambit of the controversial constitutional amendment to AJK and GB, retired Justice Tariq Mehmood said that there did not seem to be any hitches in the process. The GB and AJK councils, which are headed by the prime minister, can order such action, said PPP Senator Raza Rabbani, but the measure must be approved by the legislative assembly of each territory.

The PPP, which runs the government in AJK, has already agreed to go along with the amendment. In the GB, as the federal government is running the show through a presidential order, the extension of military courts isnt an issue, said a government official.

A senior opposition politician and critic of the ruling party said the main issue was whether to have such a controversial constitutional measure in place or not. Once the legal requirements had been fulfilled, enforcing it in AJK and GB was just an administrative matter.

Since the federal government controls AJK and GB through a ministry, all it has to do is issue a notice by the Prime Ministers Office.

The PM was briefed on legislative and administrative measures, as well as the progress of sub-committees regarding the implementation of the National Action Plan, according to a blurb. All necessary steps are being taken to eliminate terrorism from Pakistains soil, the PM was quoted as saying by a front man.

In the meeting, the PM was told that since Dec 23, 164 cases had been registered and 157 persons tossed in the clink

over the use of hate speech and spread of inciteful material in Islamabad and Punjab alone. Moreover, 40 printing presses and shops had been sealed, but the blurb didnt carry any detail of the arrests.

For the misuse of loudspeakers, 1,994 cases have been registered and 1,088 individuals have been arrested in Islamabad and Punjab, while Information from other provinces is still awaited.

The PM is personally supervising progress on the holistic and speedy implementation of the National Action Plan and another meeting would be called over the next few days to review progress on all 20 points of the action plan, the front man said.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan
...Currently the Interior Minister of Pakistain. He is the senior leader of the Pak Moslem League (N) and a close aide to Nawaz Uncle Fester Sharif. He is noted for his vocal anti-American railing in the National Assembly. However (comma) Khan told the U.S. ambassador that he was in fact pro-American but he and the PML-N would have to be critical of US actions in order to remain publicly credible. Khan cited his wife and children's US citizenship as proof, which means he's lying to one side or the other and probably both. He wears a wig, but you probably guessed that. since hair doesn't grow naturally in that shape or texture...
, the PMs special adviser, Barrister Zafarullah, and political secretary Dr Asif Kirmani attended the meeting, along with the interior secretary, attorney general and the Nacta national coordinator.

across the country for propagating hate speech.

It was revealed that FIRs had been registered against 341 people involved in hate speech, out of which 251 had been formally arrested while 41 shops disseminating hate material had been shut down.

Those in attendance were further informed that action has been taken against nearly 1,100 people on the misuse of loudspeakers.

In his briefing, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan

reported that 180 miscreants had been picked up so far from various parts of Islamabad, while 48 of them had been formally arrested.

"Similarly in Punjab 14,000 suspects have been picked up out of whom 780 formally arrested and are under investigation," Nisar said.

The meeting was told that madrassas are also being closely monitored so that the spread of radical ideology could be checked.

They were also informed that 95 proscribed organizations have been identified in Punjab which are still engaged in spreading terrorism and extremism.

The PM asked the FBR to ensure that funding to the proscribed organizations was immediately stopped.

The Ministry of Information and Technology was also directed to take steps for blocking websites and social media platforms being used by terrorist organizations.

It was also decided that a state-of-the-art rapid response force would be set up to meet the challenges posed by terrorism and extremism. This properly equipped force would be trained on modern lines and given a better pay package.

The PM also called a meeting of chief ministers next week in Islamabad to comprehensively review progress made on implementation of the NAP. All the provincial governments were directed to take proactive measures for ensuring speedy and effective implementation of the plan.

The NAP had been formulated in the wake of the Beautiful Downtown Peshawar

Pakistan court indicts Musharraf over Bugti's killing
[ARABNEWS] A Pak court on Wednesday indicted Pervez Perv Musharraf
... former dictator of Pakistain, who was less dictatorial and corrupt than any Pak civilian government to date ...
over the 2006 killing of a separatist leader, the latest legal hurdle facing the former military ruler since his return from self-imposed exile two years ago.

The charges by the court in the southwestern city of Quetta are unlikely to cause any immediate problems for the 71-year-old, who has not attended a single hearing in the case since it began in 2013.

He was previously indicted for treason in March last year over his imposition of emergency rule in 2007, but proceedings have stalled since then as the countrys civil authorities and judiciary appear to lack the will to take on the powerful military.

The anti-terrorist court has indicted Musharraf along with former interior minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao and former home minister (of) Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
province Shoaib Nosherwani in Nawab Akbar Bugtis murder case, public prosecutor Taimur Shah told AFP.

Shah added the court would resume hearings in the case on Feb. 4.

Baluch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed in a military operation in 2006, sparking deadly nationwide protests and inflaming a separatist insurgency in resource-rich but impoverished Balochistan province.

Musharraf has been staying with his daughter in Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
where he travelled for tests at a navy-run hospital in April last year and the indictment took place in his absence.

He is on bail in four other major cases linked to his time in power including the 2007 liquidation of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto
... 11th Prime Minister of Pakistain in two non-consecutive terms from 1988 until 1990 and 1993 until 1996. She was the daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, founder of the Pakistain People's Party, who was murdered at the instigation of General Ayub Khan. She was murdered in her turn by person or persons unknown while campaigning in late 2007. Suspects include, to note just a few, Baitullah Mehsud, General Pervez Musharraf, the ISI, al-Qaeda in Pakistain, and her husband, Asif Ali Zardari, who shows remarkably little curiosity about who done her in...
in a gun and suicide kaboom.

Facing impeachment following the 2008 elections, Musharraf resigned as president and went into self-imposed exile in Dubai.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Hamas MPs Meet, Slam Abbas in Sign of Palestinian Rifts
[An Nahar] Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, MPs in Gazoo held an exclusive meeting on Wednesday apparently defying the Paleostinian Authority and criticized president the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
, in a further sign of a failing unity pact.

They were meeting for the first time since the April unity deal, which ostensibly put an end to years of infighting between Gazoo rulers Hamas and Abbas's Fatah party.

Even months after Hamas and the Fatah-dominated PLO -- which in turn dominates the PA -- appointed a mutually-agreed central government, disputes that emerged shortly after the deal appear to be worsening.

"Neither the president nor anyone else can forbid parliament from meeting," Hamas MP Salah al-Bardaweel said in a symbolic statement.

Hamas holds 78 of the Paleostinian parliament's 132 seats, and 25 of its MPs live in the Gazoo Strip.

Another 20 non-Hamas MPs live in Gazoo, but did not attend the meeting.

Last year's reconciliation pact was meant to pave the way for Paleostinian general elections by the end of 2014, and to hand over control of Gazoo in the interim from Hamas to the unity government, which took oath early June.

But there have been no sign of elections or a real transfer of power, despite Hamas' stated willingness to relinquish its authority.

Senior Hamas leader Mahmud Zahar, also present, said the new government was a "failure".

"We send a clear message: either the government must take up its responsibilities or resign," he said.

Pope Slams 'Deviant Forms of Religion' after Paris Attacks
[An Nahar] Pope Francis on Monday slammed "deviant forms of religion" following deadly attacks by Islamist militants in France last week which left 17 people dead.

"Losing their freedom, people become enslaved, whether to the latest fads, or to power, money, or even deviant forms of religion," he said, laying the blame on "a culture of rejection" which leads to "the breakdown of society and spawning violence and death."

"We see painful evidence of this in the events reported daily in the news, not least the tragic slayings which took place in Paris a few days ago," he said in his yearly speech to the members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See.

#4  Actually the "Protestant inquistion" in England killed far more people than the Spanish one. Forgot about witch hunting: in three centuries the Spanish inquisition killed three thousand people between witches, protestants and people who were supposedly Christians but were practising Judaism (actually this was not punished woith capital punishment. What was punished with death was for supposed Christian being found practizing Judaism, recanting of the "sin" of this "sin", returning to Christianity and being found a Qsecond time ptractizing Judaism). Protestant Europe killed fourty thousand witches (plus a number of papists) in less than 50 years. It was much, much, much better to fall into the dispassionate hands of an inquisitor, hands who were severely restrained by Inquistion's legalistic requirements than in the hands of a bunch of terrified peasnts who had just lost a couple of cows.

So, spare us your feelings of superiority.

#6  Pope on Charlie Hebdo: There are limits to free expression.

Points to ponder:

The same Sharia that mandates the death penalty for the secular and laicist Charlie Hebdo cartoonists mandates the death penalty for religious conversion from Islam to Roman Catholicism.

Christians sometimes fall to theocratic temptation, trying to play the totalitarian shark's remora.

Leftist Christians collaborated with communist regimes. 'German Christians' collaborated with the Nazis. Now some Christians are tempted to collaborate with theocratic Islam.

The late Christopher Hitchens had some words for these people:
"These people are saying the grandfather (Kurt Westergaard) and granddaughter were the authors of their own attempted assassinations. These are some of the same people who say that if I don't believe in God I can't know what morality is. They've just dissolved morality completely into relativism by saying actually, occasionally, carving up grandfathers and granddaughters with an axe on New Year's Eve can be okay if it's done to protect the reputation of a seventh century Arabian man who heard voices."

Muslim world questions logic behind Charlie antics
[ARABNEWS] Iyad Madani, secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, has denounced the publication of sacrilegious cartoons by French magazine Charlie Hebdo Wednesday, calling the move insolence, ignorance and foolishness.

He said: Freedom of speech must not become a hate-speech and it must not offend others. No sane person, regardless of doctrine, religion or faith, accepts his beliefs being ridiculed.

Prominent Saudi scholar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Ghamdi said that publication of the latest image was a mistake. Its not a good way to make the people understand us. Jesus or Moses, all messengers (of God) we should respect, and should not be made fun of in pictures or words, Ghamdi said. I believe it will make more problems.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestinian lands, Mohammed Hussein, said such cartoons fuel feelings of hatred and resentment among people and publishing them shows contempt for Muslim feelings.

Leading Islamic authority Al-Azhar denounced the new edition and said: The stature of the Prophet of Mercy is greater and more lofty than to be harmed by cartoons that are unrestrained by decency and civilized standards. It said: Al-Azhar calls on all Muslims to ignore this hateful frivolity.

The International Union of Muslim Scholars also criticized the antics of Charlie Hebdo, claiming they would further stir up hatred, extremism and tension. It is neither reasonable, nor logical, nor wise to publish drawings and films offensive or attacking the Prophet of Islam, said the Qatar-based union, headed by Yusuf Al-Qardawi.

According to the union, publication of the drawing would give further credibility to the idea that the West is against Islam. It said: If we agree that (those who committed the attacks) are a minority that do not represent Islam or Muslims, then how can we respond with actions that are not directed against them, but against the Prophet revered by a billion-and-a-half Muslims?

Meanwhile, Yemens Al-Qaeda branch on Wednesday confirmed it carried out last weeks deadly assault in Paris and vowed more attacks on the West.

In a video posted on Twitter, a commander said: You will look for peace and stability but you will not find it because of the deeds of those carrying out martyrdom operations and heroes of lone jihad.

He said the Yemeni-American cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki, who was killed in a US drone strike in Yemen in September 2011, had arranged the attack.

Respect religions, marchers in Philippines tell Charlie Hebdo
[ARABNEWS] Around 1,500 people protested in one of the Philippines cities on Wednesday against the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
, police said.

Local politicians, teenaged students and women with veils covering their faces packed the main square in Marawi in the southern Philippines, some raising their fists in the air as a Charlie Hebdo poster was burned.

What had happened in La Belle France, the Charlie Hebdo killing, is a moral lesson for the world to respect any kind of religion, especially the religion of Islam, organizers said in a statement released during the three-hour rally.

Freedom of expression does not extend to insulting the noble and the greatest Prophet of Allah.

A group calling itself Boses ng Masa, or Voice of the Masses organized the rally, which attracted about 1,500 people, Marawi police officer Esmail Biso told AFP.

He said non-government organizations behind the group.

Twelve people including eight Charlie Hebdo cartoonists and journalists and two coppers were killed last week after bully boyz struck the magazines Gay Paree office, in an attack that has sparked outrage worldwide.

The attacks triggered giant rallies in support of Charlie Hebdos victims and the right to publish images of reverent figures.

The protest in the Philippines was one of first reported worldwide since the violence to express outrage at Charlie Hebdo.

The protesters carried streamers in with the words You are Charlie written in French, in response to the I am Charlie cry of those who condemned the attack.

One of the streamers read: La Belle France must apologize, while another read: You mock our prophet, now you want an apology?

Moslems are a minority in the Philippines, with most living in remote southern regions they regard as their ancestral homeland.

[HOSTED.AP.ORG] A Washington Post journalist detained in Iran for months has been indicted and will stand trial, Iran's state news agency reported Wednesday, without elaborating on what charges he faced.

The report by the official IRNA news agency came the same day as U.S. Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry
Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State...
met with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif before talks with world powers resume over the Islamic Theocratic Republic's contested nuclear program.

It wasn't immediately clear if the two events were connected, though Zarif earlier said he hoped the case against news hound Jason Rezaian could be "resolved."

"We will have to wait for the judiciary to move forward, but we will try to provide all the humanitarian assistance that we could," Zarif told journalists in Geneva. "We hope that this issue could be resolved but unfortunately there are judicial issues involved which the judiciary has to deal with."

IRNA quoted Tehran prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dowlatabadi saying Rezaian, the newspaper's bureau chief in Tehran since 2012, had been indicted. He was previously charged last month, but the bill of indictment clears the way for his trial.

Syria's Assad Says West to Blame for France Attacks
[An Nahar] Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Lord of the Baath...
said Western "shortsightedness" and "support for terrorism" in the revolt against his rule were to blame for last week's attacks in Gay Paree, state media reported Wednesday.

In his first reaction to the attacks on the Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
magazine and a Jewish supermarket which killed 17 people, Assad said he had repeatedly warned Western governments that their support for rebel groups in Syria risked a blowback of violence at home.

"We need to remind many in the West that we have warned of such incidents since the beginning of the crisis in Syria," he told Czech newspaper Literarni Noviny in an interview to be published on Thursday.

"We kept saying you must not support holy warriors or give them political cover, or else this will impact your countries and your peoples," he said in excerpts carried by the Syrian Arab News Agency.

Ever since a revolt broke out against Damascus in 2011, Assad has made no distinction between peaceful and armed opponents.

He has also used the term "terrorist" to refer to all armed rebels, both the Western-backed Free Syrian Army
... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund...
and the jihadist groups that now dominate the revolt.

Assad said that Western leaders, like those of Syria's former colonial ruler La Belle France, who had championed his removal had been "short-sighted and narrow-minded".

"What happened in La Belle France has proven that everything we said was right," he said.

#2  Broken clock theory applies, but I still think we have much to gain and everything to lose by not attempting a constructive dialogue at some level with the bastid.

CAIR demands Fox News fire Megyn Kelly, Sean Hannity
Pretty good snark to be found in the article.

#1  It is time to delegitimize the term 'islamophobia!'

In a free and open pluralistic society every philosophy, system of ideas, ideology or religion will encounter competing and oppositional ideas on the free marketplace of ideas.

'Islamophobia' equates the normalcy of a free society with a disease or disorder. The implication being that such a disease must be treated and eradicated i.e. the freedom and openness of a normal Western society is something to be abolished.

Whoever uses 'islamophobia' in any other context than to criticize the term itself thus necessarily reveals himself as an enemy of fundamental Western freedoms.

Islam is not sacrosanct. It can be tolerated as a competitor in the free marketplace of ideas. The price for such tolerance is Islam's tolerance for anti-islamic messages. Period.

#2  Not surprising. Champ and the regime have been after Fox News for years.

#3  Fox News is good to go.

and this "Islam is not sacrosanct. It can be tolerated as a competitor in the free marketplace of ideas. The price for such tolerance is Islam's tolerance for anti-islamic messages. Period."

Not only that. These laws do not change about your sensitivity. Not one Sane Human Being would really run a Shariah court.

And you know for sure now that nothing you do works and your hatred is an ugly portrayal of your jealousy of the Jews leads you to bitter hatred.

Islam has never earned anything, and like Cain, stricken by grief that it's "contribution" to the sacrosanct belief of one God,

only destroyed faith in it's own members

further driving them to more masculine handling of the situation as to harness the relative higher powers without consulting.

Hereby contriving power by fear and "Heresy" by playing the devil in very bad hollywood looking angryman flags and babyrape.

Islam IS Cohersion of a False Prophet, that you have been warned of.

#6  What the Rotterdam mayor said. Toss in CAIR as well--subversive, arrogant pricks.

The Moroccan-born mayor of Rotterdam has said Muslim immigrants who do not appreciate the way of life in Western civilisations can ‘f*** off’.
