Soldier spends hours in morgue, uncle's farewell kiss saved his life
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Syrian regime supporters circulated on social media a story of Syrian army soldier claimed he spent hours in the mortuary as medics thought he was dead.

Tarek Darwish, a soldier was severely injured in al-Qarmid battles in the northern province of Idlib two weeks ago.

Darwish had abdomen injuries and deep wounds, he was thought to be dead and put in the morgue fridge.

When his uncle doctor came to receive his body, he discovered that Darwish had slow pulse and heart beats from his experience as a doctor.

Darwish's story opens the door wide about the level of neglect soldiers in the Syrian army face, as, many of them bit the dust or parts of their bodies because of neglect.
Or maybe it's one of those freak morgue tales we see twice a year or so.

Shia opposition holy man Sheikh Ali Salman.

In a Friday press briefing, Rupert Colville, a spokesperson for the Office of the UN High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR), highlighted the world body's numerous calls for the immediate release of Sheikh Salman, who heads the al-Wefaq National Society, stressing, "We repeat that call today."

"We are... particularly concerned about two individuals currently in detention in Bahrain, namely Sheikh Ali al-Salman... and Nabeel Rajab, one of Bahrain's most prominent and respected human rights defenders," Colville added.

Salman was taken into custody late last year on a number of charges, including seeking regime change and collaborating with foreign powers. The al-Wefaq leader has, however, rejected the accusations, saying he has merely sought reforms through peaceful means.

Rajab also received a six-month jail term in January for posting tweets deemed critical of the ruling Al Khalifa family. If convicted, he may face up to 10 years in prison.

Turkish spy agency help smuggle terrorists to Syria, opposition daily reveals
[Iran Press TV] A Turkish daily has accused the country's authorities and intelligence agency of helping smuggle the ISIL and other Takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed...
forces of Evil into Syria from Turkish soil.

The opposition daily Cumhuriyet said in a report on Friday that the Death Eaters were brought to the Turkish border town of Reyhanli in a secret operation in January last year.

The report added that they were smuggled into Tal Abyad, a border town used by the ISIL as a gateway from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
According to the newspaper, the Takfiris were sent on two buses rented by the country's National Intelligence Organization, known by its Turkish acronym MIT. The paper claimed that police stopped the buses the following day after receiving a tip-off that they were smuggling drugs. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
during the search, Sherlocks found weapons and ammunition in the buses.

According to the paper, the bus drivers, who were briefly detained, said in their testimony that they were carrying Syrian refugees and the vehicles were rented by the MIT.

Also on May 29, the newspaper published an online story with images allegedly showing MIT trucks carrying weapons and ammunition to foreign-backed holy warriors inside Syria.

The paper has accused the administration of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him...
of covering up arms shipments to holy warriors fighting the Syrian government, a claim the president vehemently denies.

Erdogan has filed a complaint against the newspaper for publishing the report and images.

Turkey holds French woman who married terrorist in Syria
[NATION.PK] Turkish police detained a young French woman who crossed back into The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
after joining Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(IS) jihadists in neighbouring Syria, a security official said on Thursday.

During a three-month stay in Syria, the woman married and then split up from a jihadist and was put in a jail operated by the IS group before being released, the official said. The woman, named as Sonia Belayati, 22, was detained at a bus terminal in the southeastern Sanliurfa province early Tuesday after La Belle France provided Turkish authorities with intelligence, the official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

The woman had flown into Istanbul in March and then crossed into Syria and joined the IS bad boys. 'She worked for the Daesh terrorist organization for about three months,' the official said, using an Arabic acronym for the group.

'She later got married to a high-level foreign fighter in Daesh and stayed in Syria,' the official said.

The woman later split up with the jihadist and was detained in an IS prison in Syria for almost one month. After her release, she illegally crossed the border into Sanliurfa where she was detained by the security forces. Turkey has started deportation procedures for the woman, with the knowledge of French authorities, the Turkish official added.

Turkey has come under fire from the West over the flow of foreign jihadists through its volatile border. But Ankara says it is doing all it can to stop would-be murderous Moslems from Europe joining IS jihadists, who have seized swathes of Syria and Iraq. The government says it has put over 13,500 foreign citizens - 18 percent of whom are of European or North American origin - from 98 countries on an entry blacklist to stop them travelling to join the IS group.

Turkey, which shares a combined 1,300 kilometre (800 mile) border with Iraq and Syria, has angrily rejected suggestions it has not done enough to halt the passage of hard boys. It said it has already deported more than 1,350 people suspected of seeking to join IS and has set up special 'risk analysis centres' at transport hubs including bus terminals and airports to question suspect travellers. PAT Chief not happy with Federal Budget
[NATION.PK] The Chairman of Pakistain Awami Tehrik Dr. Tahirul Qadri
...Pak politician, and would-be dictator, founder and head of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran and Pakistain Awami Tehrik. He usually resides in Canada, but returns to Pakistain periodically to foam at the mouth and lead demonstrations. Depending on which way the wind's blowing, Qadri claims to be the author of Pak's blasphemy law. Other times he says it wasn't him...
, reacting on the Federal Budget, has stated that the real Budget will come after this one is passed by the National Assembly; the one presented on Friday by Ishaq Dar is just an eyewash.

The PAT chief said that as long as this government is in place Pakistain can never rid itself of the loans and the markup that has to be paid on the loans that have been taken. He said like last year this budget has also been prepared by the wizards of International Monetary Fund.

He said that like the people of the country, he too has no expectations from this budget and that it fulfill all the desires of IMF. He said these international agencies want their loans back with markup and that is why they were more interested in the budget rather than the common man on the road.

Dr. Tahirul Qadri said education, health, local bodies have been ignored and all the resources are to be spent on new bridges and roads. He said nations do not grow by giving relief to cement and iron industries. He said increasing the minimum wages by one thousand rupees is a crude joke on the poor man of the country.

He said only once the finance minister should try to prepare the house budget of a poor man with Rs 13,000/. His eye will remain open had he will realize that this amount is nothing a compared to the rising inflation in the country.

Pakistani detained pigeon finds Indian companion
[NATION.PK] A Pak female pigeon detained in India on suspicion of being used to 'spy' for ISI has found a companion -- an Indian male pigeon in Pathankot, Indian media reported today.

The Indian Express quoting sources said, "The Pak pigeon was handed over to Ramanjeet Singh, a bird lover in Pathankot, whose place boasts of 'state-of-the-art

Further, it said the pigeon allegedly from Pakistain is a 'high flier bird bred for sport.'

"On Tuesday, I bought a similar male pigeon for INR250 from a local seller to make the female pigeon from Pakistain stress-free," Singh said.

"Piegons are among the birds that bond with each other very fast and this is the best way to end the Pak bird's isolation and give her company," he added. Singh told news hounds that hat he is feeding the birds with wheat, lentils, pigeon peas and black grams.

Regarding the pigeon controversy, Pathankot Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kaushal said the pigeon's wings were clipped by the man who first caught it.

Police suspect that the man, a resident of Manwal village in Pathankot, had been planning to keep the bird with him but might have panicked when he saw Urdu markings on it and approached the police with it.

A pigeon allegedly bearing a stamped message with a wire-like object on its body made Indian authorities question its flight into the village of Pathankot in Punjab.

According to reports, the bird landed on the mud brick house of Ramesh Chandra, a barber, in Manwal village, 4 kilometres from Pakistain's border.

Suspicions were aroused by the Urdu markings which were reported to the nearest cop shoppe by Chandra's son.

A part of the message was in Urdu, but the numbers appeared to be that of a landline telephone in Pakistain's Narowal district.

The bird was then taken to a veterinary hospital in Pathankot for an X-ray which did not reveal any clues.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Nasrallah vows to displace 'millions' in Israel if Lebanon attacked
[Al Ahram] The head of Leb's powerful Shia movement Hezbollah threatened on Friday that his group would displace "millions" in Israel if the Jewish state attacks Leb.

Hassan Nasrallah made the threat in a televised address weeks after an Israeli army official warned that Israel would "have to" target civilian areas in Leb in a future confrontation with Hezbollah.

"If they threaten to displace 1.5 million Lebanese, then the Islamic resistance in Leb (Hezbollah) threatens to displace millions of Israelis," Nasrallah hit back.

"We are not afraid of your war or of your threats," he said.

"If you assume that we are busy in Syria, then you are wrong -- because this changes nothing in how we deal with our enemy."

For more than two years, Hezbollah has been fighting in Syria on behalf of embattled Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Lord of the Baath...
Speaking to journalists on May 13, the Israeli army official said all villages in south Leb are a "military stronghold" where Hezbollah stockpiles rockets capable of hitting his country.

"Each (village) is a military stronghold. Next time we have a war with Hezbollah, we will have to attack each one of these targets, and we hope the population will not be there," he said.

Hezbollah fought a deadly month-long war with Israel in the summer of 2006 which killed more than 1,200 people in Leb and some 160 Israelis, most of them soldiers.

YPG urges people's support in anti-ISIS war
[ARA] In an official statement, the General Command of the People's Protection Units (YPG) confirmed Friday that the Islamic State

's (IS/ISIS) attacks on social components of Rojava (Kurdish majority areas in Syria) is a "red line".

The YPG's General Command issued Friday a statement, of which ARA News received a copy, saying that Daesh (IS) gunnies are trying to attack minority groups in northern Syria "to compensate their losses before the YPG forces".

"Our (YPG) forces are ready to deter any attacks against the social components in Rojava. Our units and allied forces will defend people of Rojava, whether Christians, Arabs or Kurds, against gunnies of IS," the YPG's leadership added.

The leadership demanded all the social components in the region to "value the sacrifices made by heroes of the YPG in the fight against IS", and to support the YPG in preventing IS from depriving people of their civil rights.

Last week, bully boyz of the Islamic State took control of the southern entrance to the city of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, which caused mass displacement among civilians.
