Syrians fighting in Libya on Turkey’s behalf not backed by opposition: Al-Bahra
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Syrian mercenaries fighting in Libya on behalf of The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
are not backed by "the Syrian opposition," the joint president of Syria’s Constitutional Committee and former head of the Syrian opposition coalition, Hadi al-Bahra, said on Friday.

"No military faction or any official body that represents the Syrian opposition is supporting or sending any fighters to participate in the conflict in Libya," he said in an exclusive interview on Al Arabiya’s Diplomat Avenue.

"As an official body and a political body we are against the participation of any Syrian citizen in fighting outside Syria’s borders," he said.

"It is very sad to hear such news that casts shadows over an important aspect of the tragedy in Syria," al-Bahra said, adding that the Syrian citizens in the war-torn country "were looking for any work opportunity" to survive and support their families.

Reports have emerged recently that a number of the Syrian mercenaries fighting in Libya on behalf of Turkey have already deserted their ranks and fled to Italia, according to a report in the French daily Le Monde, which quoted French intelligence sources.

German lawyer sues Expedia for denying service to Israeli
[Jpost] The Jerusalem Post can exclusively report that a prominent German attorney has filed a lawsuit against the giant online travel agency Expedia for denying service to an Israeli passenger who sought travel aboard a Kuwait Airways commercial plane.

Attorney Nathan Gelbart told the Post on Saturday that a court hearing will take place on Wednesday. "Kuwait Airways denies transportation of Israeli passengers because of a racist boycott law against the Jewish State, claiming it must not let Israeli passengers on board."

"The truth is: Kuwait Airways does not want to transport Israeli passengers. The antisemitic regime of Kuwait owns Kuwait Airways by 100% and can change this situation with one phone call," Gelbart told the Post.

He added that "This is ridiculous. Expedia.de shamefully supports this racist boycott by selling tickets for Kuwait Airways. Gelbart Legal together with the US-based Lawfare Project will continue to fight against racism and discrimination against Jews, especially when it occurs on German soil."

Gelbart said "Kuwait Airways discriminates against Jews and Expedia provides support" in connection with the alleged bias.

The lawsuit was filed against the German branch of Expedia. The "de" in Expedia.de is an abbreviation for Deutschland (Germany).

The world headquarters of Expedia is based in Seattle, Washington.

The implications of Gelbart's lawsuit could have an effect on Kuwait's regime. A proven charge of bias could lead to Expedia discontinuing business the Gulf monarchy.

A Post media query was sent to Expedia on Saturday.

The Berlin-based attorney Gelbart has won significant cases over the years, including a landmark case against a German antisemite in January 2018 who has ties with the EU and US-designated terrorist entity Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,.

The pro-Hamas German activist sought to block the head of the Munich Jewish community, Charlotte Knobloch, from repeating her statement in which she said that he is "notorious for his antisemitic remarks." The obscure activist promotes the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) campaign against the Jewish state. Gelbart won the case, permitting Knobloch to repeat her remarks.

#1  On first guess, Kuwait Airlines would not have the right to discriminate against Jews even if their home country mandated that they did during operations inside other countries where such discrimination is banned, but they would be able to discriminate against Jews in nations where such discrimination is allowed (such as Kuwait itself). Same for Expedia. That's how giant corporations generally are forced to operate. What law you follow generally relies upon what nation you are operating inside of, not where you are based (exceptions provided by treaty and international accord).

Mila, The French Schoolgirl Who Insulted Islam, Is Told By Police To Go Into Hiding
[GellerReport] The 16-year-old French high school student I wrote about a few days ago, has been asked by the police to go into hiding because the authorities are unable to ensure her safety, after she received several death threats for insulting Islam on social media.

The delegate from the French Center for the Muslim Cult Abdallah Zekri even said about the young high school student: “She asked for it, she has to bear the consequences.” No prosecutor will launch an investigation into his incitement to hatred – and we must have confidence in the justice system.

Mila, from Lyon, in eastern France, who claims to be a lesbian, shared a series of short Instagram videos in response to online homophobic and racist abuse from religious Muslims.

The teenager, who regularly posts videos of herself singing on her Instagram profile, told those who were abusing her that she hated all religions, she hated Islam, that there was nothing but hate in the Islamic Koran and that Islam itself was sh*t.

She subsequently received a torrent of abuse, alongside a number of serious death threats, that has led to her requiring police protection.

And now, Mila is no longer able to set foot inside her school, and she fears the incident will put an end to her dreams of a singing career.

“I can no longer set foot in my high school, and I can’t even change my high school because it’s the whole of France that wants me dead,” she told feminist publication Bellica.

I am not racist, not at all. You cannot be racist towards a religion. I said what I thought, you will not make me regret it. There are still people who will get excited, I clearly don’t give a damn, I say what I want, what I think.

#5  Actually I'm positively surprised by the reaction of the French political class, given the circumstances.

The justice minister was harshly criticized not only by the opposition but also by the governing party. The interior minister explicitly affirmed the right to blaspheme i.e. criticize religion.

The situation in France is very, very bad but not nearly as bad as in Germany for example.

#11  To be clear the link refers to remarks the pope made after the Charlie Hebdo massacre in 2015.

Mila's words were a mild verbal version of Charlie Hebdo's cartoons which is why the pope's public thuggish mockery of the victims is relevant.

The Grand Turk
#Turkish president meets #Hamas political chief
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]
The Jerusalem Post adds:
Turkey also hosted a large Hamas delegation and Haniyeh in mid-December.

Hamas currently has its delegation making a world tour, with recent stops in Qatar and Malaysia and other countries where it is trying to drum up support. Egypt and Israel have both been in contact with Hamas over recent months and reports indicated a long-term cessation of violence from the Gaza Strip could be in the works.

Israel accused Hamas of plotting attacks from Turkey in reports released in December at The Telegraph and in a statement posted on the Foreign Ministry website in 2018. The latter referred to economic and military activity. Turkey has recently slammed Arab countries for being open to Trump’s deal, accusing them of treason. Turkey’s foreign minister recently called Europe “spoiled, racist children.”

Turkey’s support for Hamas is part of a wider agenda where it is accused of working with extremist groups in Syria and has sent Syrian mercenaries it recruited to fight in Libya. In October and November US officials privately referred to Turkish-backed Syrian rebels as “undisciplined” and “jihadists” involved in human rights abuses and ethnic cleansing in Syria. Turkey also works with Russia to acquired Russia’s S-400 system which has angered US officials. Ankara has also been growing closer to Iran.

A recent cache of documents revealed that the Muslim Brotherhood and IRGC met in Turkey in 2014 to consider regional strategy.
Did they indeed? How very interesting.
Hamas has roots in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Left rallies in Tel Aviv against ‘apartheid,' ‘transfer' plan
[JPost] - Left-wing politicians rallied in Tel Aviv on Saturday night against the "Deal of the Century" which they said was a plan for ’transfer’ and ’apartheid.

"This isn't a peace plan, it’s not even a plan," said MK Tamar Zandberg (Meretz). It’s a recipe for annexation, transfer, violence and apartheid, Zandberg told the activists who attended the rally.
To put it into perspective - in the last elections all the left parties together got like 10/120 mandates

Haaretz: Secret Israeli Document Reveals Plan to Keep Arabs Off Their Lands
[Haaretz] A document unsealed after 60 years reveals the Israeli government’s secret intentions behind the imposition of a military government on the country’s Arab citizens in 1948: not to enhance security but to ensure Jewish control of the land
Proud to be known as the New York Times of Israel, Haaretz presents its own 1619 project: a very long piece excoriating the eeeeeevil [Labour Socialist Zionist] government of the founding generation of Israel for hiding the fact that, under conditions of war with the Arabs, it treated the resident Arab population with suspicion, while glossing over the fact that it is under the current rightwing government that the archives are being opened to public scrutiny.
Failure to do so will result in.... well, there's the graphic.
